KIPP Zenith is a wonderful school. My daughter when she attended enjoyed school so much she never wanted to miss. Her teachers were very professional, genuine and always accommodating. Im so thankful for my experience.

I rate 5 stars because all my friends were super funny and helpful and i love my experience

I applied for Kipp shine because is closed to me 8miles away. They say is a lottery my son was put in waiting list he was 60 in waiting list., I spoke with Mr. Chase, he is in charge of registrations he said that it was going to be hard for my son to be accepted in that school because that wasn’t his school zone which I thought I was a lottery but it’s not true.Any way he recommended me to put him in Kipp Zenith which the rating is ok is not not like shine which has good ratings. Mr. chase said it was going to be easier to transfer from one Kipp to another. My son went for a year waiting for the transfer, when I registered for pre-K 3 they said it was going to be half day but for pre-k 4 is a full day, the transfer for Kipp shine was denied because I was in the school zone and the priorities those kids. I wasn’t happy with Kipp Zenith because starting with office they are so unprofessional, my son teacher left since February and the school hadn’t replaced her yet the kids been with the sustitud teacher, poor thing she is with those kids by herself.So, for pre-K 4 they gave me half day because my son attendence and the spots where limited for pre-K 4. I don’t get the fact that the spot are limited, those school are just for workers and their friend but not for low income kids. I used to leave in NJ and the Chapter schools are another lever. They are so professional, they look like educators not like those teachers from Kipp Zenith.I don’t recommend it look for another chapter school,

This school is ok and they will work with your child if he or she is not doing well. I commend most of the teachers and staff on board but there are some teachers that dont return calls when your trying to reach them. Most of all they had 1 of the worst front office staff members. Working at a school, staff should be the friendliest but Ms. Freeman was rude, inpatient, unmannerly, impolite, and lack of professionalism. I needed some help with my daughters diploma and lord she was the rudest during this process in addition to other situations throughout her attending this school. Overall just stay tuned in with you childs teacher proactively. Make sure you know ALL your child teachers. Some are proficient in there job and some seem fit but just have obnoxious attitudes...

Issa good school(spirit)just stay out of trouble,dont try to be the center of attention,choose your friends wisley,stay true to yhur self,if you want to get comfortable get comfortable with being uncomfortable,dont trust everyboday,stay out the office as much as possible,just remember this if you dont remember nun else your first year not everybody your friend ima livin witness yhu may start of wit the whole six nine being yhur friend then 2 yrs ltr i walked out wit 5 people

Kipp zenith is by far the worst school i have seen. This is supposed to be a Elementary school the teachers have zero to none patience for the kids walking threw the hallways you can here yelling. School hours are way to long for teachers and students by the end of the day teachers are literally fustrated and just ready to leave. The teachers are super chaty with eachother they spend most there time associating with eachother during teaching hours and if not so in there desks on there phone i am a mother that observed this with my own eyes and it sadend me because i thought kipp would set an example for other schools. the elementary school are portables that ac systems go out its disgusting my child would leave dripping in swet. They do not have actual theatre elective if you consider a classroom and kids watching movies or just mingling amongst themselves then sure it theatre. Art class same. Now pyschical education they have a room not gym a room with no sports eqiupment or anything fun for kids!!! The head of kipp should really look into this school. Now i will say this the only upside to this school is the field trips but to those fieldtrips they are super unorganized scheduling and planing activities, if kids go to an outdoor field trip they are told to bring yes like every school a sack lunch but not a water bottle or a small backpack with one so they can carry it themselves because of course its there well being, you literally hear children every couple minutes asking for water and told if they have money they can buy one or wait till trip is over mind you trips are from like 9 to 3. I can not stress enough how many teachers leave this school and are replaced with others that dont know whats up yet. I have bumped into a teacher and told they left that very year because they where truely horrified by everything.Dont be fooled on the outside it looks great but once you been there for a while you start to realize its not all its played out to be.you dont see kipp houston website post any pictures of this school so much, just staged ones but you do see the kipps in great areas of neighborhoods get attention which draws you into thinking all kipps are that way nope wrong and Kipp Zenith Academy proves it.I now this kipp is on scott (sunnyside) but it should not be held to those standards of the surrounding areas.Im hearing of other elemenarty charter schools with amazing electives with uptodate equipment and teachers sadly out of my range.

Well I Been to Kipp for 6 years I love they teach I start and kardigrand know Im and the 5th know I love it I dont care about the uniform like sombody

I went there for all my elementary years I got bullied and nobody did anything but the staff are great they respect you and they teach you life skills

Watch out for Ms.Carraway.She is the rudest teacher at kipp sport.The food is horrible.

They dont enforce the dress code they say one thing and do other teachers are like whatever.
