SUMMER 2020-Horseback Riding & AeroSpace Camp: In my 7 year old daughters words Amazing, Mommy! Our daughter had a wonderful time, staff is friendly, organized and ensured all safety precautions were taken for the kids. Everyday at pick up she wanted to stay longer and had positive experiences. Ms. Jerri has done a fine job of ensuring the kids have a great experience and learn new things. We will definitely sign up next summer. Highly recommended

Our kids attended Elite for many summers when they were children. They both went on to be interns at Elite when they got older. They both have become fantastic actors and singers. Our oldest child formed her own theater/ production company and is now going to college to study creative writing in the Fall. She has written many plays and screenplays over the years. Her time studying at Elite not only taught her how fun theater is, because at Elite it absolutely is, but that you can find your own voice. This camp is designed for kids to have fun while building confidence and learning new skills. Kids are given the chance to perform in a challenging but non-competitive way. Jere and I have stayed friends over the years, because she is an open, welcoming person. I highly recommend this camp and hope you will give it a try!

All three of my children, who are now adults, attended almost every summer of their childhoods. I credit my daughters participation in Elite with helping her get into HSPVA. I cannot recommend this program enough. Whether your child is passionate about performing, or simply needs something enriching to keep them busy during the summer months, Elite is where its AT. Since my kiddos have grown and moved on, Elite has expanded significantly, to include culinary arts, STEM, music lessons, outdoor activities, etc. Love love love this program!

The summer camp is one of the camps we have had a pleasure of attending. WE have never enrolled our children in a program like this before. I mean, it is REALLY incredible. They have CLASSES! Every other program we have attended, is almost like a larger scale babysitting service. I work in childcare, so this is something I notice right away.THIS program engages children to learn new things and challenge them to excel at things they are already interested in. Cooking, horseback riding, STEM and lots of field trips and adventures! I look at the cost of the program, more of an investment in my childrens learning. Registration and fees are reasonable for the area. All worth it. We will be back. :)Thank you Jeré!

This summer camp is run by an amazing woman who cares deeply for her community and her children! She has worked to create a fun, creative, and educational atmosphere. I would trust my children in her care any day and know they would come home having a fun and educational time! Knowing they were safe and loved while having the time of their life!

We met the owner and founder of Elite University almost 4 years ago at our local elementary school. She came to crate a new type of after school program in which children could experience music and other forms of art. Miss Jere was committed to children and families and making sure no child was left out simply because they couldn’t afford an instrument or pay for the program. Her mission with Elite University comes from her heart and her deep belief that all children are valuable and gifted in something. My kids have gone to her summer program for several years and always want to go back. They’ve done everything from musicals to pottery, horseback riding, trips to Galveston, NASA, robotics and much more. The staff get to know each child individually and refuse to allow bullying or kids to be left out. Miss Jere also listens to the needs of the parents. She will add a week when other programs close early in August or add a program if the request is made. She is not in it for the money and it’s clear that her heart is pure. We are an Elite family and trust the values and integrity of the program. Come see for yourself!

The Elite University experience was great for my son. Hes stated several times that he was glad that they were musically oriented and that the program gave him a different perspective on music. Hes made several friends and always had something positive to say about the staff. Ive never had any issues with the staff or program overall, and every time I asked a question or had an inquiry, I was always treated with respect and got the answers that I sought. It felt good that my son was in a safe and productive environment in my absence. He has really grown as a musician, and I thank Elite for helping us start and continue on this journey!!

We’ve started the process of searching for the perfect summer camp for our daughter. Although at first I was nervous to send her to an away camp, the experience has been incredible so far. Every question has been met with patience and my daughter is excited to to try new things and make new friends in a safe and positive environment.

Last summer I was looking for a cooking camp for my daughter to participate in for a week. After reading other reviews I was thinking this camp would provide that experience but it just turned out to be an expensive daycare. My daughter (5) ended up only cooking for one of the five days that she was there and for the other days they either played at Hermann Park or played indoors. No enrichment, no cooking (like advertised) and not worth how expensive it is. I thought it would be worth the drive from Sugar Land everyday just to send my daughter to this camp but it turned out to be a complete waste. Not to mention my daughter coming home everyday complaining about not being able to cook. DONT DO IT! Thankfully we were only there for one week.

My daughter goes to Elite University After-Care and its been a great experience thus far.. the staff really care about the kids and their social and educational development. My daughter learned to play the violin in 3 months and I couldnt be more proud. I like that its a smaller group than other after-care programs so the kids get more individualized attention to learn new things as well as each other daughter feels like she is part of something special. Thanks Elite for caring, fun and safe environment you offer my daughter. It puts me at ease that she is doing something beneficial to her growth in many positive ways every day after school.

My son had a wonderful experience at Elite. He is gender creative. This camp helped him form friendships with children of all ages and he always felt accepted. The owner, management, and counselors were professional but kind and I could they truly cared for my son.In the past, each of my four sons had experiences where they didnt want to return to camps. I always attributed it to my boys changing ther minds and not the camp. No camp is perfect and without their problems but Elite is a camp I trust and will send my son there again.

I posted a review before, however, I believe the owner removed it. Based on the site, the camp looks promising, but that clearly was not the case when I picked my child up earlier than expected. The owner, I believe her name is Jere, is literally the most disorganized camp owner Ive come across.I enrolled my child in the camp this summer and signed up for a meal plan... when I tell you this place is a joke, I kid you not. My child told me they spend THREE hours outside in Herman Park just to FILL IN time because there isnt anything for them to do... and thats EVERY WEEK. In addition, my child is always STARVING because lunch is constantly late (arriving TWO hours later), snack ran out at the camp site, and when lunch does arrive, its cold. The Chick-fil-a they receive every Friday is four chicken nuggets and apple juice, who is getting full off that after waiting two hours for lunch? On top of that, when I picked up my child early, there were only three counselors watching over 60 children and they were watching some random Netflix movie. I am extremely disappointed and angry that I spent over $900 only for them to be going to the park, receiving lunch late AND cold, and coloring on paper. If I had known the amount of disorganization, lack of intellectual stimulating curriculum/activities, and overall bad business, I would have taken my money elsewhere.

After two days my kids were complaining and did not want to go back. Id already prepaid an additional week for the following month and told them I wanted to cancel due to my childrens dissatisfaction with the camp. They refused to return my prepayment. An employee told me they started the no refund policy after a few weeks of operation, I assume because they were getting so many cancellations from unhappy customers. After weeks of explaining to them it is technically not a refund, their policy is not legal because customers did not agree to it prior to payment, and initiating legal proceedings, they finally returned my money. If you do try this camp, I recommend you do not book more than one week until your kids have sampled the product.

My 12 year old daughter has been involved in Elite fine Art program since last year. This is my daughters first year being part of their summer camp. What I appreciate most about Elite is thier willingness and ability to see the whole child. Thier able to see each child for who they really are, and bring out the very best of them in a safe and artistically rich environment. They meets the child where they are at, and propels them forward to the next level with patience and guidance. Not only that, they listens to where your child would like to go within the realm of acting, voice, dance etc and helps strategize an incredible blue print, or game plan for them. And she also provides a rich community of like minded young peers. My family gives Elite University an A+

My kids joined Elite in December. The music program is pretty good. My 5 year old learned guitar and was able to play a piece after few months of reading music. My 10 year old plays piano and is handling the violin pretty ok. Except for the guitar, the instruments are available at the after school. Ms Jere and Ms Annette are just so caring. My kids loves going there and I have sometimes difficulty to make them leave. Ms Jere picks up kids from Roberts, and other elementary schools. My older kid will go to Lanier and Ms Jere will pick her up as well. Will definitely be back next year.

This is our second year for both of our kiddos (currently 8 and 11 - one boy younger, and a girl). This camp is amazing. Not only do they truly care for the kids, its more then just an ordinary camp. The kids have gone horseback riding, dissected animals as part of the medical science camp, and are learning fencing to name of few of the cool things they are doing. They go on field trips to the science museum, have splash day every friday and more. Until we found Elite as parents we felt bad for dumping them in some boring summer camps and trying to mix and match more fun by adding in VBS or other things. Now our kids love going and as parents the times are great 7am all the way to 6pm if needed. Its a wonderful camp and well be back again next year as well!

My now-first-grade daughter attended the gymnastics camp week and the pottery camp week last summer. She is a very active kid, so the gymnastics week was especially nice. The hours of the camp schedule actually accomodate my 8-5-plus-commute schedule. I think they put a lot of thought into how to accommodate the needs of families who work full time. The location is great for med center employees. She liked it so much that we signed up to do the Elite after school program. I was pleasantly surprised to find they are a music program. Previously we could not found the time for music lessons, but now my daughter is taking violon lessons and is OBSESSED with her friends at Elite. At a different program she was sometimes mad that I cant get her from school. Now at Elite she gets mad when I pick her up a little early because they have so much fun. The staff has done a great job of building a wonderful community amongst the children. My daughter is begging me to do the whole summer with Elite! The summer camp is different because it is bigger and a different mix of kids every week, and we are excited about all the activites on offer. The only thing I wish they had was swimming. I am so grateful that Elite has relieved so many of the logistical pressures of being a working mom while helping my baby learn, have fun, and grow as a person.

My child attended Elite last year and is currently attending this year. A couple of programs my son mentioned on a continues basis was the robotics camp and gymnastics camp. My son attended camp the entire summer and will spend this entire summer at Elite as well. I find Elite to be a safe and nurturing enviroment for my ten year old son. He was well recieved by the staff and made great friends with the kids he met. I particularly enjoyed the program as my child came home tired everyday. I would definetly recommend this camp for any parent who wants more than just daycare for the summer!
