Not only are they dedicated, extremely professional, motivating teachers with their kindness and high expectations, their flexibility and time given the parent queries is much appreciated. Teaching the children self awareness, strength, smarts, martial art skill and consideration for others makes this more than just another class - it is empowering the children and a lovely community. We had great experience with Hoboken Tiger Schulmanns. They are knowledgeable, professional, and caring. Sensei G and the team go above and beyond to meet their students needs. My two boys were attending for two years, they gained confidence, self-discipline and athleticism. Unfortunately, we moved to another town and cannot commute bc it is too far. Would wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone.

My kids went to the Hoboken school for almost six years before we moved to Tenafly. Sensei G is a fantastic martial artist, a warm caring human being, a fantastic and engaged teacher and to top it off he’s freaking hilarious. My kids had a great time with him and we still see him at tiger Schulmann events. The other teachers are great, too. There is no better workout, and the school is a great place for your kids to learn focus, discipline, fitness, and to defend themselves. They will also make friends for life.

My son, who is on the spectrum, has really taken to this - a wonderful surprise to us all. He has become very interested in Martial arts and fitness and looks forward to every class. The staff is very professional & kind.

We couldn’t be happier with our experience at Tiger Schulmann’s. We have watched our son become more confident, resilient, and self-disciplined through his experience. Sensei Gaudinot and the guys are professional and great with kids. My son has so much fun, not even realizing that hes building self-confidence, respect for others, and listening skills. There is a really nice family vibe at Tiger Schulmanns in Hoboken. It is great!!!!

Sensei and his team are great teachers - on the mat and off it. Great, age appropriate approach that teaches kids self discipline, responsibility, how to recognize bullying and how to approach it. Highly recommend it!

My son and I have been Tiger’s for over 5 years and I can truly say that becoming part of Tiger Schulmann’s MMA school in Hoboken has been life changing. I met and became part of a loyal respectful and caring family with fellow students and a fantastic team of professional instructors.Sensei G really does an awesome job teaching his specialty weather it’s “Jujitsu” or “Just letting your hands go” with great striking. Putting that aside it’s also a great workout if you are just looking to stay in shape. I strongly recommend becoming a part of this fast growing team of pros.

13 years ago I was looking for a martial arts school for my 8 year old son we visited many schools. When we walked into Tiger Shulmanns I knew immediately that we were in the rate place. The structure, discipline and professionalism was unmatched. Since than my entire family has made it to the level of first degree black belt. We love the organization and I know you will too. It starts with one class!!

Ever since I started going to Tiger Schulmann’s I’ve honestly had a really good time. The staff are really friendly and supportive, but they also push you to do your best. Whether it be Sensei or Joshu, I’ve learned what I know from all of them. During the pandemic, we used to take classes on twitch but we’ve been doing zoom calls now because they wanted to focus on our teacher-student relationship and it’s honestly been really fun. So overall, I really like going and knowing that I’m strong enough to defend myself if I need to is awesome. I never knew I had that tiger in me before I started coming and so I have a lot of good things to say about tsmma.

One fo the hardest parts with re-locating from NJ to Va., is leaving Tiger Schulmanns...our 6 year old twin boys have been enrolled at TSMA in Hoboken since they were 4...the boys are heartbroken to leave the school and their Sensei..they learned so much about self discipline, self control, improved self esteem and focus (while having a ton of fun!)...I will search near and far to find another program so they can continue on their martial arts journey, but fear nothing will compare with what our experiences have been w/Sensei Louis Gaudinot...thank you so much...you will be sorely missed.

Ive been a member for two years now and its been both an incredible experience and amazing kickboxing journey to being more fit. Sensei Gaudinot is one of the best teachers around, his enthusiasm and dedication shines through. He has build a wonderful the community and he keeps the place super clean. I highly recommend it and have recently enrolled my hubby, who hates to workout normally but looks forward to coming to class!

He really cares and is the heart and soul of the school. I would give them more than five stars if I could. Would not even think of going anywhere else.

You get a good workout, for sure. I admire the dedication and discipline of the participants, but they were insulted when I only wanted to take one class a week, instead of the 2 to 3 they recommend. And, when I explained that I wanted to fit classes around my busy work schedule, they reacted as if I was from another planet.
