Awesome program! My son completed the program! This boys work hard to complete each challenge, I couldnt be more proud of mine!

GREAT academy for young men and women to regain there focus in life. Ive been a Mentor for almost two years and these young people need mentors that will TRULY invest in the well being of them. Ive had one successful Journey and will soon end my second term.

My son went here, attitude, defiance, and rest of it . when we dropped him off July 18 . We going to get him saturday morning 😊 . Thank you yca. He man now .

Amazing and Awesome place.This is a very good place,I thank God everyday for my son being there.He has been blessed to be there.Im so proud of the young man that he has become!! Everyone there is very amazing and awesome.If youre a teen that loves to learn,and wants to be someone and somewhere in life you should check this place out..Also,its not for bad teens,my son is not bad,he was treated bad,bullied,and just passed around in the schools he was in.Its true Im now praying and trying to get help for his brother in same school situations they dont care.He is so ready to go where his brother is,Im so proud he wants to,he just turned 15,so he has to wait till hes 16:I feel hes not safe in public schools.At least at MYC I know my other son is safe&secure...j

Get your kid back on the right path! This school is for those who want to better themselves but high school isnt quite for them. The Kids who need guidance and discipline but in a positive way.

Awesome program.! My son has grown up, and has became a man. This place was a God sent for my family. The director and staff, do an excellent job. They also do NOT have, ANY negative impacts, or negative results, of ANY kind. They will NOT treat these young people harsh or abusive. They ARE uplifting and devoted to seeing these cadets graduate. They teach them so much about life coping skills and how to make it through life. And receive their G.E.D.s. As for my son, he would have quit school and had done Nothing with his life. Was looking to his future as a blank page. Now things have changed for the best. Im so proud of my son and his life changing future. I wish I would have known about this place, for my other son. But, thank God hes okay.

They lied when they said that there isnt any fratenizing between the boys and girls. They promised me this through email. I sent my child down there for some tough love and to focus on her education. Instead she was jumped, so I took her out against everyones wishes, and Im glad I did. Because when she got home she began getting letters from a guy talking about how much he loves her. I sent her down there because I thought they would be tougher on her than I was about studying, but instead she said the GED instructor reads/teaches straight from the book, she passed the GED by 5 points, their response Well she passed. However, they do start recruiting your kid for the military from day 1. If youre looking for a summer camp and to give your kid a break from any real responsibilities then this is the place to send them. If however, you are needing a REAL military school (having cops called on them, etc.) that is going to deal with your kids behavior and be tough on them, this is not the program for you or your kid. According to my daughter the kids that had behavior problems didnt last long before they were sent home. I remember a time that kids feared going to Camp Shelby as it was called back then. Now kids cant wait to go because its a 6 month sleep away camp.

I dropped my son off January 19 he was wilding out. Skipping school smoking disrespectful though the world owed him. Never accountable never responsible.. I picked my son up June 22nd a high school graduate OSHA certified HVAC certificate in hand. I dropped him off a menace and picked up a man. In 6 months my son went from disrespectful to yes maam and honorable. I couldnt say enough about the men and women who run this program the hard work and endurance they use everything they can to better these childrens lives. I 100% recommend this place for youth

Even though I didnt get accepted I would still recommend any person out there to get into this program. well better luck next time!
