I enrolled my son in karate at Premier in September 2017. There were some pretty drastic changes happening at home, and with him being 4, I wanted him to have a proper outlet for any feelings he wasn’t yet able to articulate. The manager let us do a drop-in class, free of charge, to see how he did. He loved it, and we signed up. Knowing my financial situation had just gotten pretty tight, they were gracious enough to give us a two-for-one deal, and that allowed me to take self-defense classes there for no huge expense. It’s been almost 2 years, my son is now a blue belt, and his self-discipline has improved, his focus is improving, and he has made some good pals whom he looks forward to seeing each week.I’m not sure what things were like before the current management took over, but they’re doing just fine.

Would never recommend this place to anyone. The teachings are very shabby and I feel they only want to create members they can charge and sign up for contracts. After reviewing the class with my family i felt we could try it out and signed to have my account debited and set up to have reoccuring debits. In return when i did not enjoy the quality of teacher i was told I am in a 1500 contract and my calls were ignored.Bottomline this place wants to lock you into a contract without your knowledge BEWARE

First of all three of these negative review are false. My family attended the same karate place as these three families and have been for a lone time. so as far as im concerned they never set foot into Premier Martial Arts. Also we left that other school along with several other families due to lack of respect given to his Jr instructors who were just kids themselves. you DO NOT berate these childrens on the mat in front of other students and parents. As far as contracts we left before it was expired but was told we had to continue paying which we did. and so did the other families that left. So I dont want to hear anyone talk about being in a contract. its part of the business world. second, were were told by the other school to make sure we write good review for them, which we would have then the employees told us it would be ok to write bad reviews for Premier. Totally Unethical. So we decided to try out Premier Martial Arts. Met with the owner and his staff. They are wonderful people. Everything was laid out for us about the training, the cost, and the membership agreement. I will have to say that the instructor there is a wonderful young man. He does know what he is doing and he continues his training. His kids classes are run very smooth, very little discipline problems, I know no child is perfect but he works with them on that. At least when a child asks to go to the bathroom in the middle of the class he lets them. They dont have to stand there and hold it until they are almost in tears which I have seen in previous years. The children in his class adore him. as far as this Noah kid claims about handing out stripes. hmmmm never seen it. the other four families that followed us to Premier love it as well. So before you believe the bs reviews go in and check it out first. You will be surprised. Very happy parent, very happy children.

This school is a straight up rip off. The Instructors are not up to par and they dont know how to treat their employees. They lock you into a contract that you have to pay all of these huge fees upfront along with a huge downpayment, which is ridiculous. I paid for a relative to workout with me to attend the school the same time as me, so I was offered a two-for-one deal. I didnt realize after I had paid that I was ripped off because I had to pay two downpayments. I feel that two-for-one should mean two-for-one across the board. They make you pay for your things that you are going to need in class such as T-Shirt, knife, stick, etc. Upon me paying for these things upfront, some of them were never even ordered and I never even received all that was ordered for me after giving them my money. The Instructor kept asking me what items didnt I receive. My question to him was, he should of known what he needed to give me, because he should have kept inventory. The Instructor had the nerve to tell me that they dont sell uniforms, specialize in advancing adults because they concentrate more on the development of children, and they dont teach nunchuck classes. Talking about women are not going to use nunchucks, anyway. Women are more apt to pick up a stick or a branch off of a tree to defend themselves. Additionally, none of instructors knows how to teach the art of proper kicking techniques. Also, I would hear such wonderful stories about how good of a workout the owners is. I never saw the man when I there training. I feel that a Martial Arts Instructor who owns the place should at least check on his students to see how they are doing and work with them. I got nothing from him. It was like he didnt even care. I am in a much better school now with a good curriculum and they work on the development of all of their students. They make sure that everybody has everything downpat before moving on to something else. They dont dance around the curriculum and everything is written down with step-by-step instructions to follow. And they move on something better when everybody has mastered everything together. What Martial Arts School instructs their white belts and brown belts to go through the exact same testing to advance? This Premier Martial Arts so-called school right here is a waste of money. If you want to waste time and money, check out Premier Martial Ats. This place is a joke. I am surprised that no one has reported them to the Better Business Bureau.

Everyone was friendly, but the instructor clearly had no idea what he was doing. The Krav Maga class was embarrassing. He made some ridiculous claims and taught useless techniques.During the kickboxing class he looked like a kid imitating moves hed learned from mortal Kombat. Its dishonest of him to wear that black belt. At least he wore a blue belt for the jujitsu class, but even then he didnt display the level of skill Id expect from a legitimate blue belt in BJJ.He had no idea how to run a class and during BJJ he tried teaching advanced techniques he hadnt even mastered, to complete beginners.During krav it seemed like he was just making stuff up, I cant imagine a professional teaching such nonsense.Definitely wouldnt recommend this place.

Very rude and unorganized. Give kids stripes just for showing up instead of them actually earning them.
