I do not like this school. I used to go there and my 4th grade teacher was HORRIBLE! Her name was Mrs.bessinger she’s so rude and marks you late when ur only 1 min or 2 min late.

This school is a very good and the people there is nice and i bet on the first day your kid goes there they will be happy and have a new friend

Recently I have spent time working with the staff at NBCA and was impressed with this fine school. They are a dedicated group of energetic adults working with cheerful children. The hallways are filled with students working in teams. Art and other student work can be seen throughout the building. The support staff is everywhere assisting small groups with math and reading skills. This K-8 charter school is dedicated to bringing quality education to over 300 of Grand Rapids future.I know the administration and staff would welcome your visit and are always eager to have other volunteers help them with tutoring and other event assistance.

The neighborhood is safe from crime

This school is horrible the Principal Mrs.Larkin laughs at her students when their in trouble. She raises her voice at parents in one on one meetings and expect them not to raise their voice back. They have allowed another parent to yell at my student and he was not escorted out of the building. Another parent argued with another female student and proceeded to grab her and follow the student to and on the bus and was never stopped. This school is all about suspension. So if your child isnt mute and motionless this is not the school for your student!!!!

I really like this school bc my children had no problem here

They have a check system that isnt really fair. The food there also isnt very good. Also they show favoritism to some students. Also there grading system is 1s 2s and 3s. Assements are worth 90% of your grade. What that means is you can fail all your papers and get a good grade on you mid term and pass, Which also means you can get good grades and do bad on the mid term and fail the class. I wouldnt recomend this school.
