St. Paul is a community that embraces every individual wherever they are on their journey. The staff understands the importance of the whole person and sets the academic, emotional, and social aspects in balance. The high expectations are achieved with consistency and an encouragement of growth. The families of St. Paul have set priorities and are supportive of the school’s mission from beginning to end. I personally love the spirit of welcome and constant improvement every day. St Paul has been a wonderful place to be!

We moved to Grand Rapids in 2015 and St. Paul was the first (and only) church we attended. We decided to become members and promptly enrolled our 3 year old in preschool that fall. Since then, we have loved every minute of being part of the St. Paul community. The school and church staff are unparalleled. Our children love their friends and teachers and are happy to go to school every day! There is a very strong sense of community there. So much so, that each time we have another child, they are welcomed with open arms by not only adults but children! It’s as if we are one, big, extended family and I couldn’t want anything more for my children to grow up with.

The St. Paul the Apostle school and community prepared our children well for a rigorous high school curriculum. Our kids were challenged but also encouraged and guided to learn how to be assets to the community and to think of others. The education here was well rounded. We also loved the community! Through music, sports, and other extracurricular activities we found the other parents to be engaging and supportive.

I don’t have enough good things to say about St. Paul’s. The teachers and staff are incredible. They are welcoming, kind, and truly care about the students and put them first in everything they do. They continuously exceed my expectations for what I would want in a school and community for my children. We feel so thankful and proud to be a part of this wonderful community and I can’t recommend St. Paul enough.

Best in the area! So glad our 4 kiddos had the opportunity to immerse in this school community - they were more than prepared for Catholic Central and beyond. Such a blessing to our community!

St Paul the Apostle School has been an important part of our family for more than 35 years. All three of my children were students there, and they were well prepared for high school, college and adulthood. The staff is caring and competent, and every school activity is planned and conducted within a Catholic Christian framework. This is true in the classroom, in athletics and in social events. Highly recommended to all Catholic parents with elementary school age children. Bravo!

We couldn’t ask for a better school for our children! The principal and her leadership sets a tone of respect, high moral principals, fantastic academics and a loving environment that focuses on educating the whole person. We are so grateful for the committed teachers who truly care about the students and are dedicated in every way. We highly recommend St. Paul’s to anyone who is looking to belong to a wonderful community of families who are committed to the success of the overall mission. With five children spanning the ages of 3-13, we have seen all areas of the school and are very happy. We also love that the junior high students are involved in faith families and book buddies and other programs where the little ones look up to the older students as they cooperate in these mixed class learning opportunities. We can’t say enough great things about this school and community!

I now send my children to the same school I went to where the principal and the Kindergarten teacher were in my class from K-12th grade. This school is rich with tradition and family values with God at the center. This school is my family and my home.

A wonderful place to send your child. Such a welcoming community that makes you feel right at home. Kids will be taught curriculum at all schools; however, character is something St. Pauls will cultivate, guiding students throughout their lives. This is such a special place to belong and we are thankful for St. Paul the Apostle Catholic School.

I have two grandchildren at St. Paul, and feel their spiritual and educational growth, along with their physical safety, are being taken very seriously. They are thriving at St. Paul, and that makes everyone’s life easier. Before and after school care is a big benefit. Michelle Gary Morrow has been a tremendous asset to this school, and her entire staff is so dedicated that it’s mind-boggling.

St. Pauls School is a top notch educational experience for children. The academics, experiments, events, and teachers are all geared to a Catholic, moral teaching goal for the students. It is a happy place where both teachers and students alike, enjoy coming to every day.

As a new employee, I enjoy becoming part of St. Paul the Apostle’s progressive, welcoming, diverse, and growing community. It feels like family here. The classrooms are recently renovated, providing a fresh environment for learning. The grounds are spacious for play. St. Paul’s smaller class sizes allow for more individualized instruction, and the ‘small-school feel enables students to interact with each other across grade level. Most importantly: Catholic education ministers not only to the mind, but to the heart and soul as well. It provides a safe, grounding foundation that will guide children’s choices throughout their life.
