We had them for my daughter’s birthday party. The horses where friendly and seemed to enjoy the attention they got from the children. The handlers where fun and patient with our party. Will definitely book again in the future.

Went for an hour trail ride, part was in the sun and part was shady in the woods. I loved the horse I rode and they matched my husband up with a good horse for his skillet. Very friendly guide. Will go again and highly recommend.

Excellent entertainment for kids, we had one hour booked for a birthday party. The owner accommodated last minute request, and kids loved the experience of riding, brushing and feeding the animals. All went smoothly and was definitely the best birthday party ever, in my daughters words.

This is our second year going to Ridge Valley Stables. I take my kids (ages 3 and 6) here for quick Pony rides. They are too young for trail rides but I like to get them comfortable around and on horses. The Pony ride is perfect for this. Its just a led ride around the farm but the kids love it. There are a lot of horses here and they all look well cared for and are very friendly horses. Yes, the website is very old. And it might take a few tries to get through to someone on the phone. Its a barn, there isnt a receptionist constantly sitting at the desk. Be patient and enjoy the connection with the beautiful horses.

Worst booking experience ever. Tried to book the beach ride to celebrate 10th wedding anniversary, the website said to call a week or so in advance of the ride day, then the lady responsible for it wont return calls for a week, then texts on a Saturday and says everything is booked two months ahead. And then did not respond to a question about available dates and how to book!When you charge 300 dollars a person, customer service needs to function properly!

Awesome place for trail rides! The horses are well behaved. I was even able to spot, Rock, their amazingly docile 🐳 I highly recommend taking the time to visit 😊

At first I was a bit apprehensive. Their website is dated and the phone tag I had to play to secure a trail ride was annoying.However, all that changed when we arrived. The staff were nice and attentive. The trail and horses were well maintained. The guide was knowledgeable and social. If not for the initial communication it would be a 5/5 for sure.

Such a wonderful experience! Went on one of the most beautiful trail rides, through the woods with the leaves changing. They are very fast at responding and were so helpful from the beginning. Lovely staff all throughout place. Becky was our instructor and we couldnt have asked for a better one! So lovely, patient and helpful all throughout the ride. The horses were very well taken care of and looked beautiful. Becky paired us perfectly with a horse. I highly recommend this place and I can not wait to go back. Also no one beats the price!!

Ridge Valley Stables is a full-service Equestrian Site that offers lessons, leasing, trail riding and boarding. As well as on-site and traveling pony parties. I have had the privilege and the honor of being a worker as well as a customer here for many years. They have outstanding knowledgeable staff that really understand the world of the horse and deliver wonderful experiences involving them. My family had a lot of fun. The guide was so friendly, the hourses were in good condition, the trail had a bit of ups and downs, and 1 hour was perfect for the first time riders. Thumbs up!!!!

Disgraceful facility and business. It is not well managed at all and is a joke. Several horses are very thin and still being used for trail rides and pony parties. My own horse that I boarded here was being starved and when I asked the barn owner about it, he became irate and called me out of my name. He is forgetful and unstable. The barn workers are unreliable and dont know much about horse care. They caused my horse to develop chemical burns due to ignorance and ignoring my instructions. I also have reason to believe my horse was being used without my knowledge. A horrible experience altogether.

We went riding this past May and it was my first ride since being thrown from a lesson horse at another place last October. Our guide was awesome. I was very nervous and he assured me that my horse was very relaxed. He was right and it was a good ride. Very nice young man, that I wish I could remember his name.

My husband and myself went there today for our honeymoon.10/28/19 and it was beautiful. You can see the family takes well care of the horses! They are willing to help you, when you need it! I love horses and have and have not been on a horse since I was a little girl and I think this place is wonderful for a couples tour. Thank you for giving us the tour on your beautiful horses! It was a great experience!

Such a lovely trail ride. Becky is such a wonderful guide who knows every rose bush and everyone of the horses favorite snack along the route. The horses are incredibly well trained and even follow voice commands. The scenery is mostly woods but peaceful.

Amazing experience and great trail. The guide/instructor, Ms.Becky was so nice and patient with us considering some of us had never ridden before. Highly recommend and would definitely come back. The staff here were all wonderful!

We had a horse and pony ride for a kid birthday party this past weekend and they were absolutely wonderful. I highly recommend this stable, their animals were wonderful they’re clearly loved and well cared for and the ponies were so good with the children and the staff were so great with the children. We had a wide range of kids from 1-14 and the staff was so patient and kind it went so smooth. All the kids were so happy, so much fun, thanks to Linda and her beautiful horses and we’re very grateful!

Went on a trail ride with my father who is an inexperienced rider. The whole experience was even better than I expected. The trails were beautiful, the trail guide was extremely friendly and knowledgeable, and the horses were just absolutely fabulous. The horses know their job and it makes it very fun for those who dont know how to ride at all as they can just let the horses do their thing, but also great fun for the more experienced riders as they get to enjoy great horses and beautiful scenery. It was truly a great experience and a real trail ride through the forest. I highly recommend this place to everyone interested in doing a trail ride - experienced or not!

Great way to spend an afternoon! All the staff were pleasant, informative and patient. Extensive trail network; even after an hour-long ride I feel like there was still so much to see in a future visit! The animals are clearly well cared for and loved by the staff. We came in with little to no riding experience and were given clear, helpful instruction before setting out on a relaxing and informative ride. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to meet some majestic animals and friendly people.

My granddaughter and her friends were pleasantly surprised when Popcorn and a pony friend showed up at my granddaughters 6th birthday party.. They absolutely enjoyed the rides! The horse and pony were so calm and gentle around the kids. The staff were also wonderful with the kids. I would recommend their services to everyone.

Originally went here a few years ago for a trail ride and eventually boarded here. That turned out to be a horrible mistake. They have not been taking care of my mare who looks starving and sickly. The owner appears to be nice but turned out to be the rudest person and basically driving us out. We have been nothing but cooperative and are only looking for the proper care of our horse. I do not recommend this barn to anyone.

Horses are great, its affordable, and the people are great!!! Terry is the owner and always has an open door. He says the farm is not just a place to spend money, but come and walk around for peace!

My long time friend and myself booked a ride on the beach of cape cod. Couldnt have asked for a better experience. we met our guide, Lynda for breakfast, chit chatted, so we knew what to expect and what she could expect from us, and off to Sandy Neck Beach we went. we had a spectacular Sept. day, a wonderful ride. Long day for both of us, as we had NOT ridden in many years, but it was such a beautiful ride. Id be hard pressed not to give this day a 10+Deb

I went riding with 2 friends from out of town- as a new experience for all ! Unfortunately the ride was anything but enjoyable. Although the website says “no experience required” that was NOT the case. Horses in our group were kicking.. running... and required EXPERIENCE to control. None of this was stated by the workers or mentioned on the website. If you know how to ride or are lucky enough to get a cooperative horse, I’m sure it’s a great experience. But for a first time rider be prepared to be eat trees, bushes, shrubs and come home with bruised shins and bleeding legs.

My daughter has been waiting 1/2 her life for her Double Digit Birthday trail ride, thank you for not disappointing her! The day was beautiful, the trails were beautiful, and her favorite part was she ended up on a horse named Louie who=was a great horse, but as a new Directioner (1 Direction fan) she said her mind was *blown*.. Thank you sooo much for memories that will stay with us forever. She wants to go back next weekend..lol. I told her that not that soon but we will be back for some more Mother and daughter bonding time. Thank you Thank you Thank you!

I called the lady and a few days ago and they said theyd be open, so I planned my anniversary out to go horse back riding and on the day of my anniversary I called and they were closed. Not only did the employee lie to me, ruin my anniversary, but the times were not marked and it left and upset and awkward mood for my whole anniversary. Thank you very damn much. For the awful service!

I love Ridge Valley Stables, the horses are amazing and the trail leaders are great.

Experienced rider who felt totally unsafe. Staff was distracted and careless on trails. Horses underweight. Did not offer a helmet for my brother, who was a minor at the time. Evidently safety is not one of their big concerns.
