Why are all the reviews from people who don’t seem to be in Garland?Let alone in Texas?Seems like a good school from the tour and the few legit reviews, but the majority of reviews on here are coming across as fake.Am I alone in seeing this and having this thought?I’ve now read over 30 reviews from people who live in areas like Dubai… all of their other reviews, excluding this one, are in other countries.This needs to be addressed by management and clarified as it just seems to be boosting its scores by receiving 5 star reviews from people who don’t live here/attend this school.????????

Management is quite cooperative. School has really friendly environment. Staff is really nice and humble. School system is well organized and managed. Would recommend it to all.

We consider the day we decided to send our son to NCMA as one of the best decisions we made regarding our son so far. Since we were first time parents, we had our concern with a lot of inner voices when enrolling our son to the toddlers class but what actually happened was completely different. Our sons progress has been phenomenal and now every morning we drop our son, we feel like we are leaving him with a family. The principal along with her staff have been diligently helping our son gain the basic skills that a toddler should have and our son is alway happy going and coming back from school. The school has a great environment with the best staff and it is highly recommended.

This has been my daughter’s favorite school so far, she wakes up wanting to go to school everyday and talks about her teacher Mrs. Hiba all day. They’re clean and attentive, Mrs. Hiba always keeps me updated with all the events and activities. Definitely recommend.

Our daughter loves the school. She is so excited to see her friends and teachers every day. I have never once had any concern that she was being mistreated in any way. When she was younger, we sent her to Bright Horizons daycare which was horrendous compared to NCMA.We get a daily paper report about our daughters activities and interactions. I do appreciate that the teachers take the time to hand-write these notes everyday but I would prefer some sort of app to save paper and also see photos.The only other thing that I could possibly complain about is the playground for the younger children which, in my opinion, is a little too safe and could use something for the children to climb on and slide down. However, some may not see this as a bad thing.The school uses organic produce and milk (meat is conventional) and we were allowed to see the kitchen when touring the school.Also when touring the school, I was impressed that the director knew every childs name and greeted each warmly. During our tour, we were shown all of the classrooms and I was especially impressed with the infant room which was very quiet and quite different from most other daycares that I have toured with crying babies everywhere. I really liked that sleeping babies were given a quiet area to nap unlike a lot of other daycares where they are expected to sleep in noisy classrooms.Whenever I have had a question or concern, a meeting has been arranged with our daughters teacher within 24 hours.Overall we are very pleased with NCMA and we are planning on enrolling our youngest soon.

I absolutely adore this school.. beautiful clean classrooms with lots of natural light tall ceilings, beautiful school, awesome teachers, sweetest students children stay with each other throughout the day so they all have a special bond and enjoy learning and being challenged. There is no bullying, they provide organic meal, morning nature walks.. Caring staff. All of them made me feel comfortable and brought such great amount of relief during the hardest time of my life after loosing my son in a tragic accident.. I was worried, sad, stressed, nervous. I’m so grateful I found this school. It’s everything I had hoped for in a school for my babies.

My daughter attended New Century for 2 years and we had an excellent experience. Mrs. Fahima was welcoming and understanding of my familys needs. She was accommodating and incredibly flexible with my situation at the time and made my life dauntingly easy. My daughter excelled academically and emotionally although i do wish there was a larger focus on curriculum but i recognize that the Maria Montessori method is the protocol. Having a in-house chef was a plus for me and i trusted the food they served as that is a concern of mine. Although my daughter is no longer a student there i would recommend this school to anyone that is inquisitive in a Montessori school.

This is the first time I feel so at peace while im at work. Ive never met such sweet and amazing teachers and directors. Food is great too. The class rooms are clean and nice. Their programs were awesome. ! Definitely the best Montessori school in DFW. Highly recommended 👌👍

The school provides added values. One of them is access to a very diverse and global environment. At one point 95 countries or so were found to be represented at the school, for example. With our world getting smaller, and demands for intercultural competencies in the rise, early exposure can make a difference. And the Montessori method to my mind seems to match well the diversity in the classrooms. The school is also making a determined stand in making sure students have a good leg up on STEM branches. The science lab is amazing and the Lego Robotics program is too. This is balanced with art, music and drama. And the teachers weve worked with are committed, professional and good. We have found the Principal and Teachers approachable, prepared, and willing to work with parents when there are concerns. Parents will always have concerns no matter where, finding willing partners in the school to address them is another plus this school provides. The school is young, and there will be always areas to improve (that is why only 4 stars). I have not seen them not willing to improve and reach to provide more and better for their students.And they along with the community of parents, helped a dog abandoned at their gate just this morning. Beautiful people all around.

Wonderful program for our daughter! We have had her enrolled at this school for about 3 years now. When she first arrived there she was a shy little girl. Since her involvement with this school shehas blossomed out to be a verysocial little girl and always wantingto go to school. Not only did herpersonality come out but also herlanguage speaking skills improved tremendously. Shes had the same great teachers all this time and the staff is awesome!

I am so thankful I came across this Academy. I never get complaints about bullying from my children, and we have a very open line of communication. They let me know when ANYTHING is wrong, but fortunately I dont have to worry about the unknown when sending my children to school. I trust that they are in a safe, and encouraging learning environment. I witness the results of their comprehension daily. Im amazed at how my children have transformed throughout the school year.

My daughter is so well taken care of and the staff and teachers are just awesome. Each week I get updates on how shes doing, so theres always two-way communication about her progress. Cant say enough good things about the school. Highly recommend!

This school is very diverse and amazing. I was there for 4 years and I had learnt so much and met spectacular people there. I made friends that I wouldnt have thought I would make. Really great school!

My 2 kids 4.5 and 1.5 have been attending this school since they were little. I absolutely love this school. My older child was very active and had a difficult phase when he was 2 .. we met with his teachers and principal and they helped us out. When i look back i remember that I was very upset with the school. I wanted to change.. im so glad i did not.. he is 4.5 now..and is a super reader..great in math and science, respects his elders..etc., and yes he still has his own strong personality. This school will work with your child, help them achieve greater heights ..and not try to mold them in a certain set of individuals.My older son was potty trained by the school at 19 months. started reading (really well) at 4. I am so grateful to the loving and caring staff at New Century. The schools facility and programs are state of the art.The infant program is awesome as well.. the classrooms are clean..teachers are very caring and the classroom activities/music programs are great as well.both my kids love going to this school .. The best school in the area!!

A very good school with very good teachers and the most awesome director. Very clean and bright. Has a gym to play at in bad weather. Offers drama, music and all fun activities. The teaches are very creative. And all the staffs are very helpful... always greeted with smily faces. They provide very healthy food thats made the same day in a very clean kitchen. Vegetables and fruits are offered everyday. I am happy that I put my son in the hands of such wonderful people.

I have been going to this school for 7 years and it has provided me with the best knowledge and discipline a 13 year old can ever have, The education is amazing, the principle is extremely nice and caring. And we also have healthy but delicious lunches. I look forward to staying in this school a while. I love this school!!

Parents please do not leave your children here.Please beware immediately after I posted my review the facility has magically gotten several perfect stars reviews in an effort to silence my concerns. Please read all the comments posted.I cannot stress enough how sad it was for me to pick up my son with several unexplained bruises.My son advised me a teacher pinched him. When I brought this to the attention of the staff they were extremely uncooperative. I was advised by the teacher (Ms. Peace and Ms. Lupita) and the administrators (Heather/Caitlyn) they were under strict orders to not access any cameras and only the head of the school could see them. I reported this immediately to the head of the school/owner, Fahima Rouabah, she ignored my concerns and failed to investigate the matter. I received an email from Fahima Rouabah16 days after the incident only to advise me the camera footage was gone since they only had 5 days to view. This was huge red flag for me considering they knew about my concerns on the day it occurred. They showed me an incident report but refused to provide me a copy. Additional concerns for me was the class ratios were completely unsafe - I walked in once to find one teacher with about 20 children. They mislead me to believe they offer organic food but this was untrue as they feed the children lucky charms and raisin bran for breakfast.The head of the school/owner Fahima Rouabah poorly managed this situation and was extremely unprofessional. There was no empathy, urgency or genuine concern for my childs safety.I have file a complaint with child protective services against this facility to look into my concerns and a complaint with the BBB as well regarding my concerns and to demand my tuition be reimbursed. Just an update I received notification they ignored the BBB complaint.Parents please do not hesitate to contact me directly for any additional questions or to view the photos/emails regarding this matter.Please read the additional reviews from other parents (Monica Hudson, Anissa Wilson, Tomas Kyling) who have voiced similar concerns below.

This is easily the best montessori school in garland & richardson. They do pretty much everything well and my child is happy there. One of the things i like about this school is the constant reporting we get on how our child is progressing. They also offer after school programs for the development of the kids and have state of the art facilities. Your child will get alot out of the program there. I hope that they have more events for parents and children and also field trips and events for the children.

Our daughter loves going to school there, the teacher is super nice and the facility is better than most schools in the area, and they have an iPhone app where I can keep an eye on my child!

My oldest daughter has been at NCMA since it opened, and my youngest since she was 12 weeks old. They both have vibrant personalities and have had their ups and downs. The youngest went through a difficult phase where I was afraid she would be kicked out, but instead, the teachers and director all worked with us so that we were all saying the same things at home and school.My oldest marches to the beat of her own drum, and theyve never tried to force her into a mold, but instead work with her so that she thrives in her own way. Which definitely isnt like everyone else. Now that shes in elementary, she has to get her work done, but it isnt confining and limiting. Both of my girls love the school, and our should we move them to public conversations never last more than 30 seconds.Edit after reading some other reviews - My youngest daughter (4) has the same Primary teachers that my oldest (8) had, so while there is some natural turnover of teachers, it isnt happening every day, in every class. My oldest has also had the same elementary teacher for all 3 years.

We just moved our 2 kids out of this school after having had them there for the past 2 1/2 years. What initially drew us to this school was the nice campus and amazing teachers. Since first enrolling our children, the experience has gone nowhere but downhill, mainly driven by the strong armed fascist rule of the director of the school. She is extremely rude and has zero people or business skills. I could go on and on about all the wrongs she has done to us and many other parents, but this review would be way too long. This past summer, me, along with at least a dozen other parents moved our kids to other schools to give our children a better education. NCMA has become nothing more than a glorified daycare with the Montessori name slapped on it.If you do decide to tour the school, make sure to ask the director to see their Montessori certification and to see the teachers certifications as well. Neither the school nor any of the teachers are Montessori certified, something we found out from our sons former teacher.My son was in the primary class the entire time and in his final year he had 4 different teachers. Each time one left or was fired, no communication was sent out. We had to find out through the rumor mill that his teacher had changed. Same thing happened in our daughters primary class. Her teacher left and nothing was ever sent out to the parents. Communication is non-existent.I advise you to look past the nice facilities and focus on the lack of leadership, revolving door of teachers, and inability to communicate. Our experience along with many other families was a total nightmare so I hope this review aids in any decisions you make regarding placement of your children.
