Absolutely love this studio! I have my daughter and my nephew here and they love every minute of it. The staff is very punctual when starting their classes and the communication is spectacular. Special shout out to Mrs. Jen for helping my student fall back in love with dance after a bad experience at a different studio. Mrs. Mary thank you for being patient with my nephew and all of his crying since this was his very first activity at the age of 2... it took some time but he loves every minute of class; and Mrs. Katie my little one always wanted to learn different styles and even tho its hard for her she takes the time to practice at home she loves her jazz and hip hop class.Thank you for creating a place where there is a positive and welcoming environment that seems to only lead to more creative minds and movements! Dance on!

I cant imagine being at any other dance studio! My 4 1/2 year old is in her second year here and we just couldnt be more pleased. This year (and last year) she is taking hip hop/tumbling and the combo ballet/tap/jazz/tumbling classes. We absolutely adore her dance instructors and even instructors she hasnt even had classes with...yet. The administrative staff is so friendly and accommodating. My daughter talks about all of them every.single.day. The studio is top notch, clean and organized. I think it is awesome all the well known choreographers that come in to the studio and to do extra classes for the dancers. We truly feel like family there. If you are looking for a dance studio, give Next Step an opportunity to show you why they are AWESOME! They will let you try classes before you enroll!!!Side note... I take the adult hip hop class and it is so much fun and a great workout!

My daughter just started this month and I have to say that I have never seen her more excited about dance classes. The parking is very convenient especially if you have a baby stroller, the waiting room is nice as well allowing you to see on screens your child having fun and learning at the same time plus gives you the opportunity to understand the meaninig of the other classes offered. I like that this institution can inspire your child to take her dance journey from hobby to passion to a future career. Highly recommend it!

I love NSD! Ive been dancing there even before they moved to the Star, and I love the teachers and classes. Im in the Drill Co. and the competitions are really fun but, pretty competitive. The new studio is beautiful and the teachers have really made me a better dancer!

We love Next Step! My daughter is currently in her second year there, and she can’t wait to go to her classes twice a week! I’m constantly impressed at how well the teachers calmly maintain order in their classrooms and get young children to learn dance and tumbling movement and choreography. The teachers have a great mix of kindness, fun, and firmness—they’ve been great for my daughter.From the moment we toured the studio, I have been impressed with how caring and communicative the staff is. We receive emails, newsletters, and Facebook reminders about upcoming events and things going on at the studio. They do a great job keeping the facility clean, as well.I was nervous about my daughter’s first recital, last year, but everything went SO smoothly and it was so entertaining to watch! My family and I were very impressed by everything. We LOVED my daughter’s costumes, too!There have been some times when my daughter has interacted with older students, and I have to say, the older kids have been SO GOOD with her!I’ve also taken some adult classes, and the instructors have been awesome! We have fun in class, while learning and getting a workout.It does get crowded in the lobby in the evenings, but the studio recently added more, seating, so hopefully, that will help.I will continue to recommend Next Step to my friends—we plan to be there for a long time!

I take my niece to this studio and it is always a great experience for us both! The instructors are very knowledgeable and experienced, and my niece always has a blast in her class. The lobby is spacious and perfect for me to sit in and watch her class on the tv monitor.

Great place thats in the center of Frisco.Many classes for different levels of students.With plenty of parking it makes this place an ideal one to come and attend.

The is my daughters first year dancing at Next Step. We could not be happier with the choice to dance here. The level of instruction is top notch, the facility is beautiful, and the staff is friendly. What more could we ask for?!

I’ve been blown away by the number of options NSD has for any experience/ commitment level from adaptive fusion to some of the most outstanding competitive dancers in the country across all genres including ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, hip hop, and ballroom. And the studio facility at The Star itself is absolutely gorgeous.

My daughter is so far loving taking dance here. She really loves her instructor! The only drawback for me is the parking (not their fault) and the suuuuuper uncomfortable bench seats in the area for parents. If I could make any recommendations, it would be to get more comfortable seating - traditional reception area seating would work well, feel better, look nicer and maximize the space better to allow more people to sit. Seating is always limited, so if you want to sit down (and not on the floor) you do need to get there early!

We LOVE this place! My 3 year old asks to go *literally* every single day! The coaches really know what theyre doing and I like that the younger kids and the other recreational classes are taught by the same teachers that teach the company kids. Highly recommend!

They were awesome with getting back to me and answering all my questions in a timely manner. There facility, front office staff (Taylor), and instructors are all top notch! Thanks for helping us get through the whole process!

I highly recommend this studio! They have a nurturing and caring professional staff with training in all forms of dance. The facility is spotless and set up so parents can view the classroom.

I love Next Step Dance! The teachers are amazing and interact with their students really well. They provide help if you need it and make you laugh while correcting you at the same time! I cant wait until i enroll again in a couple of months! :)

My daughter is currently in the Junior DCC, I have sent EMAILS, and no one has had the decency to respond, I didnt signed my daughter up JUST to attend this place, and be one more body in your class, but to be part of a TEAM, my daughter hasnt been measured, dont know if they will ever measure her.. lets make this clear, MY daughter is the one that wants to stay there, because Im completely unhappy and disgusted with the lack of Communication in here....

Recital started at 4pm, I wasnt allowed to take my child out, not even for a snack, I was told that snacks would be provided to them, but when I got my child at 8PM, I asked her if she was offered a snack and she said NO! just water. I asked to take my daughter out and I would bring her back.(( But yet some)) parents were allowed to take their kids out earlier and feed them. If it wasnt for the love my daughter feels for your center she wouldnt be there, you guys need to do better for ALL the children attending your center..

Tonight wife & I met with Ownership & Instructor. We worked through all issues, and feel like we now have a collaborative effort with the development our our son. Wife & I appreciate Ownership taking time to work through miscommunication & misunderstandings.

Next Step Dance has helped my daughter grow and thrive as a dancer! The teachers are so professional and knowledgeable!

My daughter is going on her 3rd year and she absolutely loves all her classes and all the dance instructors she’s had over the years.

Totally over-prepared me technically, mentally and emotionally for the professional world! I have taught and judged all over the US, and there’s no other comparable dance studio in the country!

Next Step Dance is an amazing place to build confidence and be a better dancer it’s what any beginning dancer to excell but other wise it’amazing.

I recently joined a class, and I regretted it instantly. I stayed for a month and a half to try it out, the girls there are beyond rude ( very uninclusive ) The teachers are pretty good tho, but are bad at including beginners!

Best dance studio this side of the Mississippi!

Horrible. my friend said the teachers the teachers are mean and everyone are a year younger for their class

Literally cant even concentrate on my p2p with the music volume being at maximum output. The poor kids ears must be bleeding by the gallons. Turn down for p2p.

They play their music at volume level over 9000. Theres no way the kids dont come out with hearing problems.
