Soooooo happpy I found this place!!! It’s a hidden GEM πŸ’Ž Staff is so friendly, & very attentive to your specific child’s needs. Camera you can easily reach with a app on your phone. They give you updates every hour. Had a summer program that my School age child LOVED. I have been over the moon with all this daycare has to offer. You can drop in anytime to check on your kiddos! All around down to earth and friendly. Would 10000000% recommend!

This has been the best daycare that my kids have gone to! The staff are patient, friendly and attentive. My kids have been going there since before they changed the name. They go out of their way to treat you and your kids like family and let you know if there is any issues. I highly recommend this daycare for your kids.

This is the only daycare my children have been in.. We love the staff! They are great at letting us know if anything happens while the kids are in their care, they call every time there is an incident (just to give you a heads up no matter how big or small the issue was), which as a mom -I appreciate. My youngest is now 3 and started at 6mo of age, my oldest is 6, he started at 4.Majority of the teacher have stayed the same since their change from Childrens lighthouse. I love that they know my kids by name as well as recognize myself and my husband (by name) .They always great you when you walk in and when you leave. It makes me feel comfortable knowing that these teachers care about my children, even new teachers learn the kids names quickly. I feel like these teachers genuinely care about these kids and their well being. I will continue to recommend them !!!

This center is absolutely amazing!! My son learns so much! What better way to play and learn at the same time. He is really able to learn from a Global Approach. I love how he learns about different countries each month as well as learn how to speak Spanish. The Spanish immersion program teaches him about the world and outreach out of the country. And I couldnt brag enough about the Director. Ms. Alex is amazing! She is the Cherry on top for me!! Her heart is simply amazing!! She loves what she does!! I see her when I drop off and pick up!

Im very surprised by the reviews thus far, my son has been attending this preschool since before it was Big Blue Marble. Yes, hes had a couple accident reports but what child doesnt get a bump here or there? Especially when he was learning to walk, I can not expect them to put him in a bubble. And when something did happen they were great about letting me know and how he was treated for his boo boo. The director or assistant director has never made me feel like my child or myself are not important. Im not in denial that my child might get a bump or scratch here or there. If I can not prevent him for getting a bump at home even when Im next to his side, how can I except a teacher in a room with other children to prevent him from getting a bump. Things happen, I am glad they are there to make him feel better when I can not. This preschool is not a bad place, they do a great job in caring for my child and I am definitely sad that he will not be able to attend their after school program because they do not pick up from his soon to be elementary school. Ive recommended this center to many people and will continue to do so. Thank you to all of the staff for what yall do, I know this job is not easy and yall do it effortlessly!

My daughter has been at this daycare since she was an infant. I have loved every second of it. She is now in 1st grade and although she is unable to attend (only due to the fact that we live out of district), she still comes back for all holidays and vacations. The teachers here are amazing, and even through the transition from Childrens Lighthouse to Big Blue Marble Academy and the transition between directors, they made everything as smooth as could be. The office staff address any issue that I have immediately and always call me if there are any problems. I highly recommend this center to anyone who is looking for a place that feels like a home away from home. When my daughter walks in, even after being gone for weeks, all the teachers still know her name!

Where do I start? Alex the director is extremely rude. My child had a big bruise in his forehead when he got home daycare. I called and spoke with Alex she assured me she would call me back, she never did. I had to call her the day after to follow up because apparently the teacher who was in charge that day was off the day I had called. The teacher told me Konnor had bumped his head but she didnt see any visible marks. They made a report but it was until i actually said something about it. Alex the director is very unprofesional. She needs to be trained on how to talk to parents. My son was in that day care for 5 months and within that period of time he had about 5 or 6 bad diaper rashes because they would not check his pamper constantly. I would even call to check on him and remind them about checking the diaper rash. Jessica one of the asistant managers said to me oh no mom he doesnt have a rash, when I knew for a fact he did. When I picked him up that day I couldnt even touch his pamper, his rash was so bad he wasnt wiped properly and he still had stool in his butt. So that was the last incident i took. Needless to say my son is not attending big blue marble any longer. I wouldnt recommend this place to parents who actually care about your kids. I heard teachers screaming at kids in most of the toddler rooms.

If I could give 0 stars I would. The place is DESPICABLE. My 5 month old daughter hit her head on a shelving unit because she was not being watched and when the director was told I didnt want my daughter in that area again unless she was sitting on the mat supervised with one of her teachers...she was extremely rude! She made it seem like it was normal for a 5 month old to receive an incident report stating there was a knot on her head above her right eye and had the nerve to say well she didnt get hurt. My daughter can not even crawl yet, only scoot and shes already getting hurt. Babies are pulling up on the shelving unit and the unit is unsecured and could easily topple over onto the babies. The play mat is placed right in front of the unit. Chanthea Woods is the director and is EXTREMELY unprofessional. She does not make you feel comfortable as a parent who is entrusting their child to attend this facility. She does NOT care and will be very brief and dry with you. My child was only here for one month. I have reached out to corporate and even higher authorities. DO. NOT. SEND. YOUR. CHILD. HERE!!!!!!***SIDENOTE: that 5 star review from Alex was given because she is the assistant director. So of course shes going to give it 5 stars. Pitiful!

I was an employee there, and I had my son in their care for ONE day. One. Because I knew how my coworkers were, and how they handled their classrooms. On his first day he came home with a bruise, and no one knew where it had come from. I would never put my child in their care again, and obviously havent done so since. Being an employee I can tell you hands down how unprofessional this place is, and ridiculous Chaneathea Woods (the director) is. The way she handled employee conflict was absolutely absurd, (I had a problem with a certain employee because she was down right rude to me and was awful to the children). Chaneatha lets an employee get away with pinching your children, yelling at them, threatening to hit them, refusing them bathroom breaks, and I brought it to her attention before I quit- but that worker is still there. That employee would also talk to me like garbage in front of the children- what kind of director sits back and lets that happen? I quit because on my last day working there they yet again placed me with said employee and I went home crying because of the way she treated me, Alex- the assistant director- had nothing to say other than just dont talk to her like it was MY fault, which by the way I didnt initiate the conversation with this girl or put any input into it either. If you have the option of putting your child here, or somewhere else TAKE THEM SOMEWHERE ELSE. Their website talks about strict lesson plans they follow, and teaching your children Spanish, and several other things that just DONT actually happen. I promise you, they might look so wonderful, but theres more than meets the eye. As soon as theres no cameras watching the employees arent either. Be responsible with your kids, and dont take them to Big Blue Marble Academy.
