I find this place pretty diverse. Theres a lot of people that go here and theres also programs which you can apply for such as the Doctors Academy or AVID! I recommend enrolling to this school. This is such great school overall. Even my sister graduated from here too and she left this high school with wonderful memories!

Sunnyside is a place where I learned to grow and improve as a student and young adult. It is an environment where you are free to be who you are and be accepted for it. The amount of diversity this school has is amazing because you get to know other people and create strong bonds.

Some teachers dont care. When the Principle walks in, most teachers be doing way to much. All acting like they care all asking questions, Some teachers are a two face. If they want to help they should actually help? Hard to say because they wants more work putting up with people who need more help. They dont want to do their jobs as BEST as they can. Rushing the day not caring about the quality. Are they actually passionate about their work. I want them to teach like if they was monitored everyday. Its good to be fake and its the perfect escape goat to blame it on the failing kids. Sometimes teachers take our advice personal. They are suppose to be professionals at their jobs but instead of displaying their knowledge in class they get spoon fed carried by a book that has all the answers. Anyone can do that and their getting paid. We are teaching our selfs and the teachers are just tagging along getting money while we work. Here hows it goes, first you look at the book. Restate the book, let kids pass and fail. Professional* Then we ask a question that is relative to the topic and they just dont know anything. Oh wait hold up let me search that one up but we cant when we want to know. I swear they have way to much power over us and if we talk honestly they put us on blast or on the spot. Unprofessional and is to comfortable in their position. I mean they are use to always getting their ways until he (Principle) walks in. They now start doing their jobs to the best of their ability. Its so cringe and the whole class sees him or her trying so hard asking questions and saying good job. If its that easy to bum out on the desk watching YouTube on the side reading a paper, a veteran from what ever time can teach. Maybe I can teach, been stuck here for 11 years I see how this works now. Im pretty sure so and so didnt put in our last two tests in because if it would had. The people in charge would notice all the students grades dropd to a C or a D. I better not put those grades in my jobs is at risk. I should curve the test so badly that 9/40 is a B. Who would listen to me tho right? Just a small voice, plus no one looks at reviews ahaha. Just here cuz all these fake OHH Yeah this school is nice and we are a big family. They need to stop being fake, everyone needs to stop being fake and show some honestly. Some teachers dont have ingenuity. They are restating, fake, unreliable not stupid but just dont care. Im doing great in my classes but looking at those kids and I know the teachers can see them. They dont want the extra work to help the failing kids. There will be those kids and those teachers. I dont know people to scard to talk. Pretty sure this review would be tear down because its either to long or its an actual review. If not cool and you know who im talking about.

This Place is not a good environment for students who need help with classes. yes they have an after school program for tutoring and things. But at the same time they dont really help. when you would ask for help the tutors would roll their eyes and act like it was hurting them. And the teachers cant really help due to the fact that their class sizes are so damn big. So all in all not really recommended

Overall nice school with caring staff.
