Enrolled our daughter here for summer camp. She really enjoyed the structure and lessons. She has taken robotics class before, but really liked the activities and how fun this session was. The instructors have put good thought process in making this fun and engaging.

I was looking around for an EV3 LEGO robotic or computer programming summer camp for my son early this summer and found Robotics And Kids which had a couple of very good reviews. After talking to the instructor on the phone to find out more about the camp, I decided to sign up for my son. The students built a different robot each morning and learn how to program in the afternoon to complete the project. The projects were designed for the students to learn different concepts of robotics and foster creativity. My son had so much fun working on the projects and always looked forward returning to the camp next day. By the end of the camp, he was able to program his EV3 robot at home by himself. This is really an awesome camp and I highly recommend it!

Both my kids (ages 8 and 10) go to Robotics and Kids, and they enjoy it. My 10 year old had attended another robotics class before. According to him, the instructions at Robotics and Kids are much better and much easier to understand. The instructor is also very friendly and accommodating. She always makes it a point to help my kids catch up after they miss a class. She also seems to observe how much a kid is participating in class and where he/she needs help. Overall, I would definitely recommend them.

We found Robotics and Kids last summer when I was searching for summer activities for my daughter. She is quite keen on Robotics, but we never found a sustainable program that she could participate it. Robotics and Kids nicely filled the gap. In addition to summer camps, they offer classes year round. The instructor, Swathi, is very friendly and an expert in the field. She makes the sessions exciting for the kids and the kids love the time spent there. They also learn the concepts in a very fun-filled environment. Highly recommend Robotics and Kids!

All this center cares about is enrollment, after that you are discarded. The owner doesnt really care about the kids learning and provides zero effort to see how she can help the child actually learn something.Find ways to escape the situation and cuts loose. Unless you encounter situations you can never test the worthiness of business. It was one of those times that the owner did not provide any customer service even to the bare minimum level.I will never recommend this center to any parents who care about sending kids to trustful study center.

I am so glad that by chance we found this center. My 12 year daughter attended their Level 1 Robotics class here and she learnt a lot of robotics concepts from this class at the same time had a lot of fun building different robots. She would come back home each day and built the same robot and show her little sister. The style of teaching is very nice and the instructor Ms Swati makes sure that the kids learn and understand by quizzing them on each session. I would highly recommend Robotics and Kids!

We had EV3 Lego Robotics set sitting at home for a year. It is complicated enough that it requires adult guidance to start playing with the set. This class gave my 9-year old all he needs to learn how to play with EV3 - hardware and software engineering, Lego designing and building. Now, he tinkers with his Ev3 set regularly on his own.The entire class consists of lots of hands-on activities. Instructions are given to students in a form of guidance while students are working on their projects. Many classes end with students showcasing their work. Amazingly, students manage to complete their projects in less than an hour and have time to race, battle, and etc. with their creations. The teacher offers classes at different levels - beginner, intermediate and advanced. My sons current session has only three kids in the class. During the previous session there were about 10 kids. Each kid gets his own laptop and a robot set to work with. Having more kids in the class was fun as they worked in groups of two learning to cooperate and work in teams. The teacher has lots of energy, passionate, and I think, she is a professional engineer. She is great with kids and excited about robotics. My impression is that her entire family seems to be into robotics, so its not just a job for her. Last week when my son had a choice to go to a school picnic or his robotics class, he chose to go to the robotics class. We are so happy we found this class!

Last year I happened to find Robotics and Kids summer camp and signed up for my 8.5 years old. This year, to my surprise, my son required me to sign up the same program at Robotics & Kids when he saw me searching for summer camps, so I know he truly loves it. Each day he got a new project to make, and these projects are not only fun but also inspire kids creativity and help them apply what they learned immediately. When my son told me that the camp owner re-designed the program when she knew my son is the returned student from last summer, because she doesnt want him to repeat what he did last year, I was really touched, how much she cares about these kids! In addition, at end of each day she sent a summary to parents to share with us what kids learned and did at the camp with pictures and sometimes short video. I really like this place, so does my kid!

Robotics and Kids are the best Lego robotics classes that I have found in the area after stumbling on so many others for a session or two. My nine year old son loved these sessions. The classes have an excellent curriculum, well planned to guide enthusiastic minds acc. to age well as ability. The instructor is highly qualified, experienced and have a passion for teaching. She constantly updates the course by adding new projects to keep it interesting and fun, even if you have taken the course before. It is amazing to watch her patiently helping the kids through out the session while giving them the desired direction with undue control. The optional Homework Quiz serves the dual purpose of reinforcement of the concepts and keeping parents up-to-date of the weekly agenda . (Not unlike my previous experiences when the whole course is done and I am questioned, what module your son has learnt and I am totally clueless like What???) If you havent tried these classes then definitely give them a shot. Not to mention that their fun filled educative summer camps are another reason to join as my son have the continuity in the activity that he enjoys. I am very pleased with their program.

I have a 8 year old who was so much interested in Legos and Robotics that I was searching for classes online for many many months! Little did I realize that i was missing something that was right under my nose!! Thanks to referrals, I found Robotics and Kids that was close to home and boy, so engaging, informative and kid friendly. My son has been going to classes for about an year and this is still one of favorite classes for him, he is up from his bed on his own and ready for the classes in no time! His knowledge has grown leaps and bounds and all credit for this goes to Swathi, the proprietor and the chief instructor. She is knowledgeable, hardworking, diligent, punctual and above all, so approachable and helpful. She personalizes her Instructions to students and simplifies complex concepts that makes her classes engaging and outstanding! I am glad I found Robotics and Kids! For parents who are looking at this review, I want to leave you with one comment - Go for it! Your kids will be in best hands!!

Let me be candid. I took this class thinking how geeky of me. However, I have to admit, Swati made all classes fun and he last session classes, all kids look forward to and run over by min of 30 min.Swati is dedicated to teaching something that is fun, personal to her and passionate about..educating kids!!!She teaches class as if they were all her kids, kids listen, cooperate and come out of class over joyed by their achievements. She encourages, guided thinking in earlier sessions and then more creative thinking as classes progress. She encourages team work, she assigns assignments because kids want it.My son gets up Saturday morning not wanting to go anywhere but will drag his feet to the class and then pulling him out of it...every time a battle :)

Both my kids had the opportunity to learn robotics from Swati. My son (begginer)was initially not too inclined but after the first class he really started enjoying. My daughter loves the class and has finished her advanced level 2. The best part about this class is, it is not the usual teach and learn... Swati makes it interesting by having themes. During star wars movie release she had a star wars theme. So the kids enjoyed it thoroughly. They get to learn some real world applications. I would highly recommend this class!!!

After my daughter thoroughly enjoyed two sessions of Robotics and kids program, I was thrilled to see the class offered at Leitch elementary so her younger brother son could attend conveniently. It was both kids first experience with Robotics and they learnt a lot, and had fun doing so. It is amazing for young kids to have the opportunity to learn about sensors and motions and actually build something useful by themselves. I recommend the class to any student, and parents will love the convenient location so close by in WS!

I got both my boys (8 yrs and 7 yrs) kids join the Robotics for beginers class and they both totally loved it. Before joining it I did some research and saw the type of projects kids have done in past. I am totally satisfied with the end result. I will rate them on below criterias and hope you will find it helpful:1) Orientation class: I liked the concept and attended the demo/orientation session. The orientation session was an hour and very well structured, which impressed me. Swati who is the main instructor did a live project with kids while her husband walked the parents through the structure of the course. At the end of the orientation Me and my kids were totally convienced that we are going for it.2) Classes: Swati is a great instructor and gels very nicely with kids. Kids are placed in groups of two. The classes start on time. The quality of the training was good. Each class covers a new feature, functionality and logic. Each team makes a live projects at the end of each session/class, which will demonstrate how well they got the concept.3) Follow up Quiz: After each class Swati sends out an email about the topic that was covered in that class and a quiz around it to ensure that the kid got the concept right.4) Response to feedbacks/Questions: Swati is open to feedbacks and responds promptly to them. She is very accomodating and observes each kid while they are doing their project to see who is participating and if they are gettig the concept well enough. She knows the stregths and weakness of each kid and hence tries to approach them accordingly.5) Appropriate age: Go with the age suggestion by them for each level. the beginer class is meant for kids 8 years and above. And I will recommend the same because of the span of attention and maturity to understand the Logic comes after 8. However, I enrolled my younger (7 years) too because I knew he will learn it along with his older brother and they both made a great team together.I am totally satisfied with the end result. Kids were always super excited to go to this class, which says it all. I now want to continue them into Robotics because I see that my kids knoweledge, interest and inclination towards the programming and Robot building has increased after this class.Overall a great experience for kids.
