Love this swim school. They have taken amazing precautions to show care and safety always but particularly during COVID. It’s obvious in all of our interactions that the staff and instructors truly care about the students. Great survival swim school!

The coaches and directors are all great! We’ve been bringing our kids their for over a year and love it. First started lessons to reduce the risk of drowning and my then 22 month old and almost 3 year old were able to float safely within a couple of months. They both love the water and I know they are much safer around the pool because of the British Swim School

Our daughter has proven to learn well in small groups or private lessons, but other swim facilities in the area failed to provide consistent scheduling - and more importantly to our daughter, consistent swim instructors.British Swim School was suggested by a community parents group and we are SOOOOO glad we joined! The price point is perfect, they have an online payment and scheduling system. Make-up classes are super easy to schedule.We absolutely love their approach to water safety and swimming foundations first. If your kiddo falls in, they will know how to float on their back from the start! It makes me feel so good knowing that she will have these basics under her belt. And watching the children just a few levels above her swimming laps like pros makes me even more excited to see what she is capable of.The owners and instructors are all extremely caring and approachable. They know all the childrens names. It is just a very welcoming and family-oriented environment. We cannot recommend this school highly enough!

It took me a while to find an adult swim class. British Swim School had the right price and a convenient schedule. The classes were group, but there were never more than 3 people in the class. The instructors were great! I enjoyed my experience.

We tried three other local swim programs before coming to the British Swim School with our 3 year old. After our first class, the schools organization, teacher quality, and method of teaching highly impressed us. Our daughters fear of submersion quickly dissolved with the gentle encouragement from her teachers, and she is now flourishing in her water survival skills. We are so impressed with how quickly she is learning and moving through the sequence of swim skills. We would recommend British Swim School above any other program in the area!

I wish I could give more than 5 stars. My 8 year old daughter went from hating the water to jumping in with the other kids in a matter of a few weeks. Everyone is super friendly and patient. It will be one of the best things you do for your child. Teaching water safety while having the most fun is what they are all about. Very highly recommended!!

We have been attending the Nashville location of BSS. Weve had an excellent experience so far. Coach Noah and Coach Elena are friendly and gentle with my child who was terrified of the water. In just a few sessions, she went from crying and wrapped around my leg to easily getting into the water. We still have more to learn but it was a significant improvement and Im looking forward to her ongoing practice.

I get good quality swim lessons.

We’v had a great experience here. Our preschooler is very slow to warm up but they’ve been so patient and accommodating. We have the same coach each week to build trust and relationship. They teach skills but they also create confidence. Water safety skills are worth every penny spent and their weekly lessons are so helpful. I anticipate we will still be here when she’s older and learning strokes for swim team!

Best swim school around! Their mission is to ensure your child knows safety first, and then they learn through the best (and FUN!) techniques how to swim STRONG!! We love every teacher and look forward to class each week.

We enrolled our toddler back in April and she’s been doing great under the guidance and experience of all the instructors. We love the personal attention she gets even though she is in a group setting. We started at 19 months. She is now a little over 2 years old and we’ve seen her more confident and she has already learned so much! We are very pleased with the entire staff and their teaching techniques. Highly recommend. Our only recommendation is that they open a school in Rutherford County :)

We love the class size and instructors. I would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for swim lessons for their kids. You know it is a special place when your young children are always talking about how much they love their swim instructors.

We have been thrilled with the progress our son has made in the British Swim School program! If you are looking for a program that combines skills and confidence for your child without harsh techniques, this is it. Your child will be safer in the water from the very first lesson. Our favorite instructor is Michael. He is a fantastic teacher!

This is the best school for babies and toddlers for swimming. I doubted that my little one could learn the skills but in about eight months she could “fall” in and flip over under water and float on her back alone. She has no fear when it comes to water and they are so patient and understanding of her “twos.” They really got to know us and they felt like friends!! Love it highly recommend!

We love this school! They are great with the kids and low class sizes. Most importantly, our six year old can’t wait for lessons. After a previous bad experience with another school, we are happy to give 5 stars to British Swim School.

Everyone is very nice and easy to work with. My 3 yr old grandson has had an excellent experience. After 5 lessons he’s comfortable with the water, getting his head wet and floating.

Love the group! and the fact that the pool is always clean and there is space for parents to sit and change clothes (I mean I live in southwind so its like a huge plus to have this activity right next to our appartment!)

We LOVE British Swim School! We started with our daughter at 12 months old and it was wonderful for her. She learned a lot, but floating on her back helped calm our nerves with her around pools. The instructors are wonderful. We absolutely recommend.

We really loved the staff at British Swim School and my kids did wonderful at learning their swim skills. I just really wish they had nicer facilities that were more accommodating to parents

We love the British swim school! Every coach is fantastic and patient. My kids feel loved and are always excited to go to lessons.

It’s my opinion that this program is not worth the money. I’m willing to pay a lot for my children to learn to survive in the water away from me, but I don’t feel like I got my money’s worth or that the teachers really cared about my children.

We are loving our experience at British Swim school. Excited for my boys to learn more as they move up in skill level!

No, this place the teachers do not care about the student unless it is a favorite child. Other children sit there being ignored if they are not teacher’s pet. The staff do not seem interested.

The staff is very understanding and professional. They are friendly and welcoming.

Great staff, instructors, methods, great with kids of all ages. Our son is 3 and he loves it!

This place is poorly managed. There is no consistency with instructors and there is a problem with communication between staff. My daughter was scheduled for a make-up class tonight that didn’t even exist even though I had an email confirming the time. This is not the first issue we have had. I would recommend you find another place.

The coaches are fantastic and so patient! They did such a great job engaging my daughter, especially on the days she did not feel like participating.

Friendly staff, encouraging and challenging kids to achieve their potential.

Went to observe lessons. Not a clean facility. Staff seemed dismissive and unfriendly.

My kids have learned more in two classes here than whole class sessions elsewhere. If you want your child to know how to swim, and dont want to waste your time and money, this is the place to go.
