The teachers at The Goddard School of Fort Collins are excellent. They foster creativity in a caring and safe environment. Our sons could not be happier with this amazing school – which is led by an outstanding mother-daughter team – who are dedicated to professionalism and top-notch pedagogy. Thank you Goddard!

We have been very happy with The Goddard School. We enjoy the friendly greetings expressed to both child and parent as we enter the building and classroom each day.The structured routines have kept our two little ones happily enjoying each day for 5 years. The outside visitors invited to support the school through musical performances, animals to pet and play with add variety to the routines. There are numerous opportunities for family involvement: a block party, mothers tea and more. We also love the excellent customer service.

We send both of our children to The Goddard School in Fort Collins, and we have been very happy with the experience. The teachers genuinely care for their students and really seem to love being around them. Both my children have teachers in each classroom weve been in so far that they absolutely adore. In addition, my children learned several signs before one year old, and the school helps support language development in other ways. The curriculum is great. It is rigorous in that it exposes the children to many different things, but it is age appropriate.I can not emphasize enough, though, how important it is that my children love their time at school and that I feel the adults there love my children.

The teachers are loving and knowledgeable. My children love their teachers. Melanie, Michelle and Terry Ann make it non stressful to schedule, change days, add days. They are always friendly and happy. My oldest is already reading and loves all of his friends and all the extra activities! We love and trust The Goddard!

Our family loves the Goddard School. My daughter has been attending this school since she was 10 months old. The teachers and staff are extremely hard working, warm and caring people. I appreciate the timely and helpful communication from the staff, the plentiful outdoor time, varied and challenging arts and crafts and special visitors. My daughter is now 3 years old and loves it there. It has been an amazing place for her to grow and learn.

When it comes to child care/preschool options in or around Fort Collins, the Goddard School is easily the best. This review is based on our experiences over 8 years with 3 different children and more than 8 classrooms and teachers. When we first brought our older kiddos to Goddard we were nervous about them being under someone elses care, but we realized quickly we had found the perfect place for them. The teachers have always been so sweet and caring, able to teach our kids from awesome curriculum while still maintaining a very personal connection with them. Every single day we get a report about what the kids learned and experienced, even including an action photo of them. Every day!The people who run the school behind the scenes are great. Terry Ann, Allison, and Melanie have always been wonderful to work with. They go above and beyond to make sure any of our questions or concerns are addressed immediately, and I have never felt like we are just a number to them. They have always seemed to operate in the mindset that their families could have chosen any preschool option in the area, so they make sure to let us know we are appreciated and our kids are valued. We are grateful for the impact the Goddard School in Fort Collins has had on our family, Id give them 10 stars if that was an option.

The Fort Collins Goddard School is dedicated to providing a fun and educational experience. Other daycare/preschools place a higher priority on simply daycare. The Goddard School has an organized curriculum that engages the children at an appropriate level. We greatly appreciate the stable class environment and feeling the children truly are your highest priority.

My family and I all absolutely love the Goddard School! My oldest just started Kindergarten this year and it was such an easy transition for her. They do a lot of fun, creative activities and I know the teachers are very invested in playful education. I could have really not asked for a better school for all my 3 kids! Thanks for everything! :)

The Goddard School is the BEST! The leadership, administration and teaching staff all work together collectively to enhance the lives of the children who attend the center. My husband and I continue to be in awe by the vast amount of things our child learns each day at The Goddard School and we greatly appreciate the ability to have our child attend.

It makes me comfortable that everyone at the school recognizes me and my son. I feel that the teachers are very involved in his learning and genuinely care if he thrives. They understand what toddlers at his age require to be successful; I feel like other daycares do not have qualified teachers and treat daycare as a babysitting service.

We LOVE both the teachers and the administrators at Goddard in Fort Collins. Our daughter has been there for two and a half years, and each room and each teacher makes her feel at home. There are days that she doesnt want to leave when we pick her up. The staff is loving and well-trained. The most recent ownership has been in place for a number of years now and it shows. Yes, there is turn-over of teachers, but from what I can tell it is because the administrators (one of whom is also a part time instructor at a local college) encourage their staff to continue their education and reach for the next opportunity. Your child will be loved and cared for at Goddard in a way most child care centers can only aspire to be.

I feel like both of my daughters have been given a chance to explore their interests in a variety of different subjects- science, math, reading and the arts. My oldest daughter is going to kindergarten very well prepared (with reading and writing in particular), and excited about the concept of being in school, because Goddard has made the experience so enjoyable for her.

The Goddard School staff and teachers treat my children and I like family. They care so much about the kids, how they spend their day, and what they can do to enhance learning and independence. Compared to other daycare and preschool facilities we have encountered, the Goddard School embodies an unrivaled combination of professionalism, pedagogy, love, and fun. I feel so blessed to have found The Goddard School in Fort Collins!!

Ill start by saying, I believe in a mothers intuition, so if you feel that youd like to give The Goddard School a chance, I say that you just need to be in tune with what is happening around you, dont simply trust The Goddard School just because they are well known or others have had a good experience. It only took me a day and a half to realize the standards of The Goddard school were not up to par. Terry Ann was condescending, rude and un-empathetic. Her staff simply did a poor job in taking care of our 3-month-old daughter. She came home with something black and sticky all over her neck, the same outfit shes gone to school in, despite it being drenched in slobber and her having 4 bibs and 3 changes of clothes in her cubby, a diaper rash, for the first time in her life due to poop and diaper cream still remaining from being changed at 10:30, when the last diaper cream was applied and 2 pm when the last BM was recorded, it was now 4 pm. Not to mention, when I asked the afternoon care provider how her day went, she only responded by saying our daughter hadnt slept much, she had nothing else to offer about her day.I get that Im a first-time mom whose emotions were most definitely escalated but after all of that I would expect someone who owned a daycare to have more than just empathy. Unfortunately, the next day when I came in, Terry Ann had coached her staff to be over the top and nice to me, at which point made me feel even worse because it was clearly fake. When I met with Terry Ann, she boastfully asked how everything was when I dropped her off, to which I responded, obviously better since theyve been spoken with but that doesnt make me feel more secure about the level of care she will be receiving, you shouldnt have to coach people to try., Terry Anns response is what sealed the deal, Would you like us to stop trying? she said, are you kidding me? That is what the owner of a prestigious daycare decided would be an appropriate way to respond to a first-time mother of a 3-month-old baby, who has to go to work. Needless to say, as most mothers would be, I was distraught and came to pick up our daughter by 10:30 that morning. When I arrived, Terry Ann didnt even come out of her office to talk to me, she simply let the other woman in the office know that she would be giving me a full refund. To be clear, I didnt ask for a refund, I asked to cancel. If that isnt an admission of guilt, I dont know what is.To be fair, the only redeeming quality about The Goddard School that I found is Allison, the assistant director.

Goddard is an amazing school that has a wonderful program for the kids. The teachers are very vested in the kids and make the parents feel very welcome. What Sorelle learned is incredible, she always told us about her day and all that they did as well as what she learned and made at preschool. I would recommend Goddard to any and everyone and in fact I have on many occasions. The Parents Night Out they offer is a great perk as well, it is so nice to get a guaranteed date night each month! Thanks for taking such good care of her, teaching her so much and making her feel loved and special every day!

Goddard is an exceptionally clean and safe environment. The teachers are carefully selected for their abilities to foster both physical and intellectual growth of the children in their classroom. Over the past four years, my child has become a well adjusted and confident pre-kindergarden student. My child plays well with other children and responds well to direction. I cannot say enough about the leadership that the owner, Terry Ann, displays. Her own grandchildren attend Goddard; yet she treats all of the children of Goddard just like her own. Due to the cultural diversity of the staff, my child is able to learn first-hand about cultures that exist outside our Fort Collins community. Each day, my child demonstrates new knowledge when reciting Spanish language phrases and numbers. The school sponsors creative events and brings activities such as a traveling petting zoo, the Butterfly Pavilion and a local childrens musician, Mr. Marty. (Mr. Marty is the silliest person on the planet and really captures the humor of two and three year olds). I appreciate that the school is not driving my child around town but rather bringing entertainment to the school. The school is right next door to the local fire station so the firemen come and talk to the students often about fire safety. I read the old review that reflected poorly on the school. I think that the reviewing person reviewed the wrong school, because that doesnt even sound like Goddard. I can go to Goddard anytime of the day and see teachers supervising children playing, providing appropriate correction, solving disputes over crayons, changing soiled garments, helping to create art with shaving cream, providing the opportunity for children to make good choices, reminding the little ones to use walking feet indoors, encouraging cooperative play among friends and generally, but specifically, working miracles. I cant help but think how drastically different life would be if we didnt choose Goddard for the care of our child.
