Our elementary school daughter has been training with Learning Rx for over a month now. We are excited to say that we are already noticing little differences in her attitude toward school and in her math skills. Its a little hard to notice all of the differences since we started in summer, but theres little hints of hope throughout our normal daily activity. Shes gaining confidence in math and we cannot wait to see how her reading and comprehension improves (especially in history). Our biggest goal is that shell gain confidence and thats already becoming a reality. We really appreciate Mike and the staff at Learning Rx!

We gave our sons an invaluable gift of learning how their brains process information. They worked with a trainer on skills that were challenging and pushed them to new levels in short term memory, long term memory, processing speed, visual and auditory processing skills. The trainers were very professional and committed to helping them succeed. We are very pleased with the staff at Learning RX and their investment in the growth and success of our kids.

The first day my teenage son wasn’t thrilled we were having him do this program, but by day 2 he was excited to go. They actually make learning and brain training fun! We saw amazing results by the end of the program. Better scores, better grades, positive attitude, actually enjoying school, and improvements at home as well. Definitely recommend!

Absolutely love LearningRx! Brea is an amazing woman who helped my son. My son was struggling comprehending what he would read. His grades were falling fast. LearningRx turned that around for him. He is now learning above his grade level and loves to go to school! My son reads and does homework now without me even having to say anything. He loves learning! Thank you LearningRx!!!

Outstanding! Joseph can read. Learning Rx was able to teach my son how to read. The caring staff headed by Mike Winchell do an excellent job helping children and adults be their best.(My son, Joseph, is a minority, immigrant, orphan from Uganda, English as a second language learner. He was really struggling in Kindergarten.)This is not extra tutoring, but a custom designed program to help improve fundamental cognitive performance in your child. Admittedly, I was a bit skeptical at any claim to be able to fundamentally improve IQ. However, after 4 months at LearningRx Jospeh had huge breakthroughs. Not only was he reading, he was asking questions about signs and the world around him for the first time. He believed he could learn and became excited about learning and school. LearningRx has well trained professionals that know how to get kids unstuck and out of the ditch. As parents we can read to kids and help with homework, but for serious learning difficulties or cognitive issues we are ill-equipped to help our kids.Joe received a lot of extra help and support from the great staff at his school. At the end of the school year, his teachers were amazed perhaps even astounded that he would actually legitimately pass Kindergarten.I strongly recommend LearningRx in Fort Collins and happily endorse their business. I cant thank them enough.

Should we enroll our son? Its costly and will he benefit? These are the questions we asked ourselves before enrolling our son. Our son was headed down a negative path due to his lack of confidence. It only took us a minute to realize that if we dont do this we may regret it for the rest of our lives! We can either pay now for our sons future or we can pay 10 times this much later! It was a no brainer. Now about our experience: Our son is nearly complete and he has been completely reborn! He is confident, happy, respectful, cheerful, goal oriented, self motivated and responsible. Mike and his team have done an amazing job! My advice to you is if you are considering Learning RX for your child, Do It! You will forever be grateful.

Our son did 120 hours over 7 months to improve weak areas (memory, processing speed, reading comprehension) and refine strength areas (visual, audible processing). He’s always gotten very good grades but we knew his learning style and processing did not align well with standard teaching methods (academics and sports). Needless to say, the quantifiable benefits have been significant. He’s learned to use his gifts more productively but also modify and adjust his areas that don’t typically align with how teachers teach and coaches coach. His memory is improved, processing speed is better, and comprehension is no longer an issue. Mike is fervent, passionate, and informed about what he does. He shows a sincere concern for helping his clients and has a very respectable depth of knowledge in the area of cognitive learning. Finally, and most importantly, our son’s confidence has been the absolute biggest improvement since starting. We owe this all to his trainer, Lindsey. She has truly been a God-send. We commuted 20 miles each way four days a week and our son always looked forward to working with her and consistently left with a smile on his face. He truly enjoyed her. Even when she pushed and challenged him.Without a doubt, the return on investment was well worth it. We will likely be signing up our daughter (also a straight A student) to refine weaker areas and give her an advantage going into high school.

LearningRx performed as promised, improving our daughters life in a positive environment. She trained 3 to 4 days per week for most of a year and experienced dramatic improvements at home (helping around the house without being asked), at school (completing homework independently for the first time), and in her personal life (making real friends!). She graduated from the program a happier, more confident young lady. Thank you Pam and Mike!

Excellent brain training programs that strengthen cognitive areas and really make a difference in your whole life. Not tutoring where only one subject is improved - all over amazing IQ increases, etc. My friends both did it and are more confident, getting As and know that college is right for them now....before..it was doubtful. They started with an assessment...takes a while, but worth it to see your weak areas first.....they fine tune a program to address the weak areas. Effective training for young kids, older adults and people with traumatic brain injury, ADD, etc. Check it out. cool changes ahead...

My son went to Learning RX here in Fort Collins with a reading struggle. He was not helped at all even after a long program, even after switching trainers. I was extremely disappointed. After Learning RX, we found our son real help and he is reading much better now. While Learning RX claimed that the root cause of his struggle was cognitive deficiencies, it turns out that the root cause of his struggle was his eyes. Vision therapy made all the difference and after therapy he needed nothing else other than to practice reading. It seems to me that if you go to Learning RX, you should be very rigorous in scrutinizing the credentials of the current staff. But really that is up to you. Also, the Federal Trade Commission recently ruled against Learning RX regarding the claims it has made in its advertising. There is much more on the actual Federal Trade Commission website. Why does this matter to me? There were claims made to me about my son by Learning RX that are included in the list of specific claims that the company is no longer allowed to make.----------------------------------The company claimed to have solid evidence to support its promises: “Our results are clinically proven, scientifically measurable and permanent.” But according to the FTC’s complaint, the defendants didn’t have adequate proof to back up their representations. For the same reason, the claim that the benefits of LearningRx brain training were clinically proven was false. The settlement imposes a $4 million judgment on the company, which – based on its financial condition – will be suspended upon the payment of $200,000 in disgorgement. If the defendants make any of a long list of claims related to dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, age-related cognitive decline, ADHD, stroke, autism, traumatic brain injury, or improved work or athletic performance, they’ll need randomized and controlled human clinical testing. Other advertised benefits will need to be supported by competent and reliable scientific evidence.

Our daughter was struggling in school & at home with keeping up. At school it was apparent in math, processing speed, attention, etc. At home it was with focus, listening when other things were doing on around her, etc.We tried neurofeedback, with no real change. We knew that she needed a long term solution that neurofeedback & tutors couldnt fix.We got her tested at Learningrx & met with Sue Ann & Mike to go over a plan. Our daughter enjoyed going everyday, even when it seemed challenging. They made it fun! Learningrx is a very positive environment for not only the child, but the parents as well. As parents our job is to stay positive during the Learningrx journey. We realized that we can be triggers in preventing growth. So we as a family learned to celebrate even the smallest accomplishment. As a result of that & Learningrx, our daughter has become a wonderful young lady. She now knows she can do ANYTHING! Math, she said is now her favorite subject. When asked why, she replied, because I get it now!
