My son (1 yr. old) has been attending for over a month now and I must say I have been impressed with their services!The director, Ms. Natalie keeps us well informed of our son’s progress and development, many times without me asking. She even called me when my son had an accident on the play ground. I didn’t have to wait to get the report when I picked him up. She also worked hard to get us a slot in the facility after a bad experience with a prior daycare.My son always comes home with a dry diaper and the teachers do a courtesy wipe down of his face and hands before he leaves. This means a lot!!The staff is friendly and attentive to the children. My child is comfortable with them.He’s happy, growing, and learning. I highly recommend this childcare center!

This place is amazing! Both of my kids attend, My husband and I love them being here. They’ve learned so much and their social skills have increased tremendously. The level of professionalism and the way that the teachers and staff genuinely care for the children is awesome! My kids have never been in daycare up until this point and they have adjusted very well. I couldn’t have picked a better childcare facility. I would recommend them to anyone.

In the past they were a great facility, but now the staff is horrible, my childrens teacher told me to take my children and leave because I asked her to clean another childs nose, she actually wanted to physically fight me and Natalie the director felt as if her actions was justified because she hadnt had many complaints on (Mrs Jaye) the teacher. I sat in front and the teachers didnt know, the speak to the children in such a demeaning manner,its still a few good ppl there but the majority are horrible. I asked them to view the camera on the incident and the cameras dont work! So they still got paid after kicking my kids out

My son has been going to the Sunshine House for 4 years now. I wanted a place that would be safe, educational, and close to home.. I definitely found that place for my son. He is being cared for by people that truly care about his needs. All the staff want to see him succeed in life. I love to hear daily about the things that he is experiencing and learning. I appreciate all the teachers for teaching my son so much! I would recommend this daycare to anyone.

Just switched my daughter here a few months ago but they seem really great. My daughter, shes 17 months, seems to enjoy it and I can tell she is learning alot. They have an awesome app to send updates, pictures, and videos- one of my favorite parts. Her teachers are all nice and seem like they really enjoy what they do. The directors are also really nice and I know if I need anything or have questions. i can do so.

Staff is friendly, daily reports are great but best of all my shy 2-1/2 year old isc really thriving there and absolutely LOVES to go to school each day. My 5 month old is well taken care of, too and smiles with delight when she sees her care givers. I was hesitant at first about putting kids in day care/preschool, but am very happy with the decision. kids love it so much my 6 year old 1st grader wishes she could go! (she goes in with me to pick her siblings up). I should highly recommend the Sunshine House.Two years later (Jan 2021 now) and were still loving it! My kids love the staff, and better yet the staff seems to love my kids! They take great care of them. My soon to be 5 year old will be off to Kindergarten this fall and I know hes going to be very sad to leave Sunshine house.

My daughter had a hard time with her last daycare and I was worried about moving her to a new one. I don’t regret the decision, she’s going excellent and loves every staff member! The amount of love and care they show for these kids is outstanding. I would highly recommend parents to bring their kids here

Highly recommended!! My daughter has been attending The Sunshine House since she was 2 mths. She is now 3 and she loves it here. The teachers are awesome. Everyone here is professional,caring and courteous. The curriculum is great. They teach Spanish to the kids, read books daily and do hands on activities daily. They send emails daily as well so that you can see and watch the activities that they learn, as well as what was for lunch, how long your child napped and etc. Great and safe place to leave your child while your at work

I have used The Sunshine House for both of my kids and I love what they do. The staff is amazing and interacts well with the kids. My son that currently goes there has learned a lot. I would highly recommend them.

Very good daycare. I have had my son at other daycares but this is by far the best in Florence Area. Also, they send everyday emails with the updates about the activity of the child which includes pictures, videos and other personal details. I strongly recommend this daycare in Florence area.

My childs class has two new teachers, Ms. Jamie and Ms. Miranda are absolutely wonderful with the babies. They work with them every day and I dont just see this on the videos they post on the app but in my baby every day that I pick her up. She is doing so well and I cant thank the Sunshine House enough for hiring great and quailified teachers but also for the teachers for loving what they do and supporting our children like they do.

I love this daycare center. They take good care of my daughter and they make us feel welcomed everyday. I highly recommend sending your kids to the Sunshine House.

The staff here are truly angels. They care about my child like she is one of their own. I appreciate their hard work everyday!

I would give this facility ZERO STARS if I could. The daycare providers sit around in groups and speak negatively about the children and share personal information about other providers and parents.My daughter has had multiple issues since she’s been enrolled. I would not suggest enrolling your child here. This facility needs new staff !

My daughter been attending the sunshine house for a couple of months and I love it there!!! Its secured and I can log in and see what my baby is doing throughout the day, what she eats...she learn so much and comes home everyday singing a new song if not counting, reciting her ABCS, her mannerism, her naptime is consistent, and my daughter as well as myself is overly excited about being apart of the sunshine house!!!

I would give zero stars if I could. I had several issues with this daycare countless times. The final straw was when I received a call that I needed to pick my child up from the daycare because there was an accident and his head was bleeding. My 2 year old ended up having several staples put in his head and several doctor visits. I understand accidents happen, but this was something that could have been avoided and should have been avoided. My child was playing outside when he fell and hit his head on a metal hinge that was left on a brick wall that the daycare negligently failed to remove when they removed a door from the wall years prior. Do your research prior to enrolling your child here.

My son has been going here for a little over five months now, at that time he was a few weeks shy of 2 years. Before he wouldn’t talk much, and was not that social with other kids, as well as him being attached to me. Now, he is talking so much more, not as attached to me and knows so much such as colors, numbers, shapes and animals. I’m so thankful for his teachers helping him grow.

I did research on different childcare facilities before making my decision to enroll my child at Sunshine House Early Learning Academy. It was a great decision because the staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and MOST IMPORTANTLY patient and competent with children. There is a DSS ABC quality rating of each childcare/nursery in the state and Sunshine House ranked B+ so that says alot. The facility and curriculum are very efficient and actually promote learning and child development. I definitely recommend the Sunshine house for any parent who do not just want to put their child in a daycare for someone to watch them, but want to place their child in a facility that promotes learning! Also, they have an app to where you get photos, status reports, etc of your child! The only reason I have not given five stars is because my child has not been there that long, but so far the atmosphere is fantastic!

My children have been attending this daycare for over 3 years and I just adore them. My children learn so much and they truly enjoy the staff as well.

To give you another review for The Sunshine House in Florence, SC...I am a foster parent and The Sunshine House has made it easy for me to get a child enrolled, and everything in place for them to start. Not only this but for a child that is entrusted to me for their care it is extremely hard for me to drop them off at just a daycare. The SunShine House isnt just a daycare its a home away from home for my children and I cant tell you how wonderful that makes a parent fell when they have to leave a child in someone elses care. Not only this but the daily updates we get on the app makes being away from them so much easier. All the staff at this location are truly family in my eyes.

I love everyone at the Sunshine House from the teachers & directors to the nutritionist and the children. I was so afraid of sending my son to daycare but a month before he turned 3 I finally let go and I wish I had done so sooner. My baby has learned so much in the 7 months he has attended. It is more than just a daycare, it’s a family in a school environment! My baby has never had a bad day & he is spoiled with love and attention daily! & the app with daily updates is also a huge plus!

My daughter has been going to the Sunshine House Since she was about 9 months old And at first I was terrified and weve had our ups and downs because of her changing But she is in good hands and they are really great there. She cries when I leave still but what child doesnt. The Sunshine House is our family and I would recommend them to anyone. It will be almost a year of being there and my daughter has learned so much from their amazing teachers. Two thumbs up from me to all the faculty.
