We discovered World Champion Taekwondo looking for a fitness program to help build focus for our 4 year old. Two years later we are so happy and fortunate to have found friends, instructors and a great sense of community all in one place. We now have both of next it kids enrolled. They have built up their confidence, strengthened their physical and mental well being, and built lasting relationships with their fellow classmates and instructors. The staff is engaged, knowledgeable, and great with kids of all ages.

Highly recommended! Grand Master Park teaches kids more than physical exercise! He has PH.D degree in Physical Education and his education shows well when he works with kids according to their physical and emotional needs.His staff is fun loving and full of energy . I am very happy that I chose this place for my kids!!

My children received their black belts this past summer and have loved working with Grand Master Park and His team (master Andy and Mr. Mathew).They have a great mix of old school discipline and fun for everyone. I recommend this school for anyone serious about learning martial arts and respect.

We joined World Champion Tae Kwon Do last summer and it quickly became our sons favorite place. He adores the teachers and is very proud of all that he has learned.As parents, we could not ask for more from a martial arts academy. The studio is clean, the teachers make sure to connect with each student and the curriculum offers a perfect balance of physical challenges and lessons in respect, self control and courtesy.

I had no prior experience with TKD (or any martial arts) before coming to World Champion Academy. My goal is to get back into shape and improve my overall health. They have a fitness program for adults that meets Tue & Thu nights. Grand Master Park, his staff, and all of the students are very welcoming and encouraging. If you walk in with the desire to improve yourself, and work hard, you will benefit from the experience.

An absolutely fantastic school for my 6 year old son. Grand Master Park and Mr. Andy help the kids develop physically, but more importantly help them develop as a person. The lessons taught by Mr. Andy and the staff focus on confidence, courtesy, self-respect, self-discipline and positive thinking all while keeping it fun. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to either begin their TKD journey, or to further their training!

My beautiful wife and I have been taking our boys here for over a year. We are so pleased with how Grand Master Park runs his school and works with our children. The other instructors, Andy and Mineva, are extremely professional and kind as well. We highly recommend this school.

I really enjoy the school. Very beneficial for my 3 kids to learn and grow from. They teach good techniques for the kids to defend, have self control, confidence and appreciation. Love watching them every time.

Grandmaster Park and his team of instructors have been excellent teachers for my sons. They provide a friendly environment and a stellar example of strong work ethic. And the students have fun!

Ive been attending this school for about 3 years and the instructors/masters are awesome! They are tough and constantly challenge you to learn new skills; but always very patient. Its the best workout Ive ever had - much better than going to the gym since the folks there are really fun and you work on different things each time. Every class is different, so you never get bored. Once you pay for a membership, you can go to as many classes as youd like each week. I agree with some of the other folks that the building itself is older (not sure who owns it; but it could use some sprucing up); HOWEVER the actual TKD studio was recently renovated with new mats/fresh paint and looks nice.

I have been coming here for over 5 years now and have no regret. The instructors are care about your successes and do everything they can to make sure that you get the right instruction. This school has taught me a lot, and is almost a second home to me.

Grandmaster Park and his team of instructors are awesome. I love how they teach my son about respect and defense. I love to watch my son everyday on how they teach them new techniques.

This is a great place to take your kids. My kid loves going here. Mr.Park and his team make sure that each kid gets their attention and is progressing.

Grandmaster Park and Master Andy are excellent teachers and amazing examples of the tenets of Tae Kwon Do. My kids are learning more than a sport, they are learning to be good citizens with strong character. Highly recommend!

Grandmaster Park is truly a teachers - teacher. He is a famous martial arts Grandmaster and the people of Falls Church a truly lucky to have a great teacher like him in the area. There are not many people like him that have such incredible knowledge and understanding of the art of tae kwon do. Try a class out and I know you will not be disappointed.

Best Tae Kwon Do school! Instructors are fantastic! Team spirit is great. Would recommend to everybody.

Like a bad gym membership!! First they try to trick you into a contract by having you just sign some initiation papers, then lock you into a 1-year contract you cannot get out of. Then they have poor instruction and are terrible with kids. Mostly they try to woo parents, but if you stay and see how they treat other children you see they leave all the guidance to their senior blackbelts, the owners hide in their office and have no interaction with the kids. Kids just romp around thinking they are getting instruction but its just play. I am sorry to say I HEARTILY DO NOT RECOMMEND! They take your money and are VERY POOR WITH CHILDREN.

Grandmaster Park is an amazing instructor that runs a great school for all of his students. Loved all of my interactions with him and his school.

Great place for children! Mr. Andy and Ms. Mineva are great teachers that really work with our children.

After years of attending this academy, I have learned many things. Ranging from social values to self defense, this is by far the best TKD academy I have attended. After getting new mats, this place took an even bigger step. Now it is sanitary, well organized, and the place got a whole new rearrangement so now I can watch my kids learn taekwondo! Great place and would recommend it to anyone.

One of the Worst, Worst, Worst place for your kids taekwon.1. Parents doesnt have good seating arrangement to see kids practice2. This place sucks, dirty and not at all cleaned.3. Instructors are okay, the owner is great cheater.4. Their payment contracting company (Membersolution) sucks and they will ripe off you.Look for some other place where you pay more and get good service.

This taekwondo school has brought so many positive things into my life. I was a very shy teenager when I started here but taekwondo has taught me to become stronger and more confident, and I am thankful for Grandmaster Park for giving me the opportunity to teach here as an instructor. Taekwondo is really an amazing sport, and the lessons at World Champion Taekwondo shape each individual to become their best both physically and mentally.

Great out kid went up to almost all the belts over 3 years

Im speaking both as a student who has been attending this school for over 6 years, as well as one of the main instructors here at World Champion Taekwondo.As far as the hygiene of the Dojang goes, I, along with my assistants, DAILY make sure that both mats are through fully mopped, both bathrooms cleaned, all floors vacuumed, and all appliances are dust free. It is true that the building is old, but I personally confirm that the second floor on which the Dojang is located is kept as clean as possible for students and guests.Every class we conduct is targeted to pull out the best out of each student, while still keeping it interesting and fun. Each students personal growth is the main goal behind every class, and although each student has his/her own unique personal goal(s), we always try to find balance in the material that is taught.If you have noticed, most low rating reviews on the Dojang are at least from 2 years ago. Those comments have been reviewed, and we are continuously trying to correct what did not work in the past, and to improve everyones experience here at World Champion Taekwondo.Thank you.
