I visited Ace Tech Institute. today very disappointed from communication,i made appointment with todd wise. i was there to to signup for there few of the classes, starting from tomorrow and and next moth, had few question,i all before i drive there front desk ( Spanish girl) conform he is there by the the time i reach its take me 1 hour and he left i ask you you did not inform me he let so i do not have to come, she did not let me meet other Instructor he was there, she told me she will she will send me an email about my questions and pricing, and required documents for pre qualification from dpor. she did not send me any this i feel she was lie he was there and ask me to come and signup. i did not understand why she do that. pretty much i wast my 3 hour.i did not signup just because of her attitude. i had spend good time with Spanish customer i did not understand what they was talking about but with she could not not answer me any thing more then she answer at phone call was the point to go in office and make appointment with instituter not meeting him.of course she did not give there contact info if any one have to contact if is the way to reach any one, so i chose this way i will be losing few months in process. thanks to her

Waste of money. Could not understand the instructor at all. He had a heavy accent and was hard to follow. All he did was read from Mike Holts Exam Prep book that I could’ve bought for $80. Didn’t need to pay $800 to have some dude read a book. I gave the class a chance to see if any of the prep/review would change but it didn’t. After a few classes I asked for a refund and they said that they could only give a partial refund because I had attended more then two classes. One of the classes I didn’t even get an email for the zoom meeting so I couldn’t attend. Place is a scam, save your money and don’t use these people.

I paid $500 for the class and due to the pandemic I never went to take the exam. Since my 6 month grace period is up.. I was told I need to retake the class and pay another $200... I feel robbed :(

I took the HVAC prep course. I waited long time after class to take the test. I failed first time. I sent email to my instructor with the questions I didnt understand and he called and spoke to me. He explained things I didnt understand and/or forgot. I took the test again in a few days and I passed. I fully believe I would have passed test on first go had I not waited six months after taking the class.I would not have been able to pass this exam without the prep course. There are too many questions on the exam that have nothing to do with my day-to-day operations as an HVAC technician. I highly recommend this school. Worth every penny I spent

The lack of professionalism and transparency from this company is something I have never experienced before. They canceled classes twice without any notice and failed to call me back to explain why. They wasted two months of my time, charged the full amount for my course, and then later sent a refund check in the mail without any follow up. When I asked for a contact number for a manager, the front desk individual refused to give me any sort of contact. The owner/manager of the company never even bothered to call me back and follow up with me.I highly recommend you take your business elsewhere. The staff is clueless and the owner of the company takes zero accountability for his mistakes.At this point, I am just glad i received my refund. The DPOR should not allow such unprofessional companies to carry any sort of license.

If your trying to get your A,B,C or trade license they are your best bet. They are the cheapest full service prep exam company out there. I did a lot of research and trust me its the best guaranteed prep exam going.

This place is a scam. I was CHEATED AND ROBBED!!! They took $1000 from me and put in the wrong class, was given the wrong and outdated books, and wasted a month of my life taking their class. After completing the class i tested twice and failed miserably! The questions on the test we not at all any of the material they taught!!! Now i am still waiting 2 months later for them to put together another class and they wont even redund me my money! And today i see that they have disconnected their phone lines! They took my money and ran! I am filing a law suit starting today. This place is a scam!!!! Dont trust Kim or anyone there!

The class has been very positive learning experience. Each class was about 3 hours long but the time actually went by really fast. The test was made easy and I am very happy with the results.

I took my business class with Ace tech institute in Tysons,They where very helpfull they guide me trought step by step to understand all the process to get a contractors license in Virginia,Also they are always there for you to answer any question.I totally recommen them.

I’ve been calling around to select a place to help me pass contractor exam and then really liked the receptionist and the informative answer I received from her. I highly recommend this institute! The teacher I had was very clear and kind when it came to questions. The class in Centreville is convenient if family time is important to you because you can take the class early in the day and leave relatively early.

I just took the business class in this institute, The teacher was very knowledgeable and this class was very helpful for me.I highly recommend to take this course in the Ace Tech Institute.

Dont waste your time or money. This company has no interest in teaching. they just want to get you in and out of the door as quick as possible. the instructor just mumbles through everything. they charge a high fee of $295 for the class and they dont even provide the exam approved tabs for the book. they tell you to go online and order them if you want them. your better off paying a online course $160 and they will provide book, tabs, and instructor help if needed.

Its a good class to take,if you are planning on taking your journeymans license or master exam.its very helpful.

I am in shock. This school is for Blue Collar workers. We are all Tradesman.Well I just went in to take my pre test and was turned away. Mr Kim said I was too dirty to come in. I had no dirt on my shirt, pants or boots. I scrubbed my face and hands before going in. My pants and shirt have stains but absolutely no dirt!! Just because you see stained clothes doesnt mean I dont have class. I am clean shaven...short hair. My shirt was tucked in. He had no problem in taking my money for the class. I was in work attire then. This Man judged me solely on my clothes. We live in Woodstock Va. I worked today and pulled off the job to drive the 1 hour and 30 minutes to be turned away. What is wrong with this man. I never post anything but this is a true case of prejudice. I am disappointed in his character.06-14-19 I appreciate your response and apology. However, I dont appreciate you stating that I was not accurate. Do you want to address this issue or continue deflecting? I can assure you I was accurate and did not embellish any of it. You stated I left in my own accord well I was trying to explain to Mr Kim and show him that I had no dirt and dust on my boots, shirt and pants. I went to great lengths to make sure. He said to me and I quote, I am not cleaning up after you. He walked away from me when I was in mid sentence. I would think as an owner you would want this to get resolved. I dont care if your Director has been with Ace 20 years or 20 minutes. At some point as an owner you need to realize this is a problem and look for a resolution. I want to take my pre test. How can I be assured that I will be allowed into the classroom if I make this drive again. I also would say that I agree with you this was humiliating to say the least. I am almost 60 years old and I have never been treated this way. I have Managed Billion Dollar Companies and have personally worked for a Brigadier General on his private estate. Along with personally worked for the CEO of the largest Defense Contractor on his personal estate. I have always been treated with the up most dignity and respect which is a far cry to what happened at Ace. Just imagine and I was paying you for a service. I do hope this will be resolved.06-17-19 Well it is the end of the day on Monday and I still dont have a solution from the owner regarding my pre test.
