Our son began taking lessons there when we moved to this area last year and it has quickly become his favorite activity and favorite place to be. The teachers take a genuine interest in his well-being which extends beyond the hours they have him in person for lessons. Its a great little community.

This place is amazing I have been going here for almost 4 years and every camp and show is astonishing to watch and see!! The staff are cool and awesome too especially frank (the main director) who can be a little hard on in the beginning in a good way but once you go there for a while things will smoothen down and get easier. I just finished the amazing 90’s camp there and I have to say it was the best camp I’ve ever done there!! I’m so upset that it’s over that I almost cried!! But anyways definitely go here it’s a incredible experience!!

We love the Fairfield School of Rock. The school allows a child to grow and express themselves, my daughter has blossomed musically and personally in the 2 years she has been attending and I cant imagine her not having this creative outlet to shine in. Musically, the school is very diverse, if there is not a musical genre the student likes each semester it is very easy for them to experiment and try a new type of music they have never listened to or played before. The entire staff is great, they create such an enjoyable environment for the kids to socialize and learn in that kids of all ages get along and jam together. I highly recommend this place to any parent who has a child interested in music and the stage.

School of Rock provides a great context for my son to learn to play drums and to appreciate a variety of music genres. He is motivated and supported by the staff and more experienced band mates and also has the opportunity to mentor and encourage the younger ones. He also is able to move at his own pace which keeps him encouraged and also supports seasons that may be busier than others. His connection with his private instructor has been extremely valuable.

Extremely talented group of instructors! Joining SOR was one of the best decisions Ive ever made. Great people and great music. I look forward to rehearsal night every week. Just a fantastic time and good for the soul!

My daughter says her teachers make learning guitar very fun. Not boring at all! She enjoys the combination of the lesson one day per week with the fun social rehearsal on a second day. Good fun while learning!!

School of Rock is a completely transformative experience for both kids and adults. Every child -- regardless of musical ability -- becomes more: More of a singer/musician, more confident, more social, more accepting, more open to new experiences. Parents can see a positive difference in their childs attitude, aptitude and musicianship. There is a School of Rock program for every ability level and musical taste. How I wish there was a School of Rock when I was young.

I like that the lessons are structured around a goal. Over the last few years, Ive learned and played in a variety of genres, rhythm guitar, lead guitar, bass. Every cycle, theres an opportunity to add new styles, techniques, licks, song structures, chord voicings and more to my abilities. Plus, the chance to play with other musicians and learn from each other and the show directors is pretty cool. Hard work, but steady progress and a great time.

My 7 year old boy was whining and wanted to leave the school at the first visit but the school knew how to draw the kid and kept it interesting. after an hour of trial lesson, I now have a drum set in my house.

Laid back atmosphere with true musicians, excellent practical music education focused on fun and groove.

School of Rock/Fairfield has been an amazing experience for my son! Not only is the instruction amazing, but the culture of inclusivity and collaboration has been made SOR a place where my my son feels included and accomplished. Can not say enough good things about it!

That children are taught all the skills needed to perform in a rock band in a fun and learning environment.
