I am a children’s performer (ventrilloquist/songwriter/comedian) and I visit at least 40 pre-schools each year. The teachers at Kiddie Academy of Ellicott City are well educated, caring, organized, polite, and gentle. How do I know? Because the children in the audience were excellent listeners and singers, and happily took part in every song or dance without getting out of hand at all. Also, the teachers listened to the program and did not talk during my presentation. They were excellent role models for the children. Your children are in good hands!

Kiddie Academy was such a wonderful experience for both my kids. Every teacher they had was absolutely wonderful. The owner is very dedicated to making the place a nurturing environment for the kids. The curriculum was great as well. Can’t say enough good things about this place!

We enrolled my daughter (currently one year old) in Ms Britt Class. My daughter had some adjustment issues and I was a bit concerned if she is going to adjust in the daycare. I am extremely please with the professional ism and team efforts of the teachers (including Ms Britt) and the co-owner/ director of Kiddie academy. with their help and patience, my daughter not only has adjusted in the daycare within 2-3 weeks, but is a very happy baby. I get to see her happy face pictures everyday and that makes my life so comfortable and gives me that piece of mind. I look forward to seeing her happy for the next few years in the kiddie academy. We just started our little one with them and I already know 1000% that we made the best decision in choosing them. I was VERY anxious about leaving her and emailed a million times before her start date. Every time I emailed they were quick to respond and would answer any question I had without making me feel silly for asking. Everyone we have come in contact with is extremely warm and welcoming. You can tell the kids are priority there. We receive pictures during the day and we can tell our LO is having so much fun and already learning things! We will be moving this year and will still continue with KA even though it will be very much out of our way. (thats how amazing they are!)Childcare is scary to think about but our family will recommend them to anyone who asks. They are hands down the BEST decision anyone can make!

Our kids love going to Kiddie Academy and have learned so much. Everyone on the staff is very caring and our kids frequently talk about their teachers. The outside play area is great. They communicate frequently and provide updates. They also host occasional weekend activities for families that are fun for everyone to attend.

Kiddie Academy of Ellicott City exceeds every expectation imaginable of a day care. As a teacher myself, I hold the bar pretty high of the schooling I expect for my son. Time and time again we are blown away by the support, love, and instruction we see our son receiving. Like all parents, our anxiety is high as we continue to tread through unprecedented times....however Kiddie Academy has helped to relieve my anxiety immensely. The knowledge my son has gained over our time with them is unparalleled to other centers we have previously attended. Our son is quite the busy soul, and the patience he receives from his teachers and staff warms our hearts. Love Kiddie Academy of Ellicott City! All of the teachers are so nice and patient! I had been trying to potty train my daughter for a year. After we enrolled her in KA she was potty trained in less then a month! My daughter constantly talks about her teachers and all of her friends that she has made!

We were looking for a good daycare for our son so he can start socializing and pick up more English as at home we speak our native language, for the most part. At kiddie academy we found so many more! Our son is developing his writing, reading and math skills along with dance and Ziou zitsou lessons!The stuff is very attentive and they show real interest in our family. We couldn’t have asked for more...Simply Thank you!

We absolutely love Kiddie Academy of Ellicott City and our boys do too! Selecting a daycare center was not an easy task for us and then we met the directors, staff, and teachers at KA and immediately knew this was the place for us. The teachers at KA take the time to not only get to know our sons but to know us as well. We work together as a team to develop, plan, and implement goals (both socially and educationally) for our children. The staff welcomes everyone at the door, is quick and responsive when replying to emails or phone calls, maintains open lines of communication, and goes above and beyond to make the daily experiences our children have there meaningful, educational, and fun.

We had initially sent our daughter to KA when she was 18 months old. She adjusted within a matter of days and was always happy. Then Covid happened and she was home for almost a year. We recently sent her back to KA and it has been a challenge to say the least. Her transition was very rough, and I was worried we would have to pull her out. Team KA was extremely responsive to our concerns and worked with us tirelessly to figure out what the issue was. Fast forward to 4 weeks - she loves it, just like she used to before.All their staff is very professional and caring; the classrooms, activities and outdoor play area are very good. I have toured other daycares in the area (in person and virtually) and was very happy that I stuck to my first choice.

Not only do I like that my kids go there, THEY love that they go there.We discovered them by accident after bad experiences with Celebree caused us (and around 6 other families) to search for an alternative. The difference between the two are night and day -- like the adage goes, you dont know what you dont know. They absolutely exceed our impression of what good daycare looks like, in every respect.VERY strong program (not just babysitting, but honest to goodness learning programs). Photos sent to parents of kids in activities throughout the day. Fair pricing for daycare, and they include meals.Strongly dedicated staff that seem to truly enjoy looking after children. They do activities beyond just the traditional daycare operations - lots of fun events for the entire family.My highest recommendation! My child went to school the first day today. In fact, I was still very worried today. He didn’t know what his school life was like. I didn’t expect the teacher to send pictures of the school in the afternoon and receive the details of the day’s life at school from the teacher at night. This is a pleasant surprise! The teachers are wonderful, caring, and my kids really like them. The facilities are always clean and the staff put a lot of effort into putting on a fun and engaging curriculum.

We started with KA this year. The Ellicott City location has been doing a fantastic job keeping the school age kids on their virtual learning schedule and being very responsible to account for the COVID-19 policy this year. We feel safe with KAs policy. Highly recommended.

Kiddie Academy is great day care! I had my children in a total 4 in the last 4 years and Kiddie Academy was the top one for me.

We have been with Kiddie Academy Ellicott City since our daughter was 1 1/2. Finding a daycare option you can trust is one of the hardest things you do as a parent. We had a not so great experience with another provider prior to coming to KA which made it even harder. When I say KA Ellicott City has become part of our family I say that with my whole heart. They care so much for the kids and the number of things they have my taught my daughter I will be forever grateful for. They have amazing hours, they have an in house chef that makes them nutritionist approved snacks and lunch everyday, awesome extracurricular activities (pre and post COVID), and a staff that truly cares. I 100% recommend Kiddie Academy. When it came time to figure out how to navigate virtual learning this year they were the first people I called and they have been amazing as that resource as well.

Since we changed my daughters daycare to Kiddie Academy in Ellicott city, we saw a tremendous improvement in her attitude, self-confidence and relations. Both management and teacher contributed this so i can easily say that this is simply the best place in town. She never leaves the school without giving a big hug to the teachers :)

Ever since enrolling my daughter in the Kiddie Academy of Ellicott City, I am amazed with how much she learns daily. Not only does she learn the STEM curriculum that they teach so well, but she is also learning how to correctly and age-appropriately interact with both her teachers and her peers. My husband and I appreciate and LOVE Kiddie Academy so much. With COVID-19, our daycare closed indefinitely so we were forced to find new childcare. We couldn’t be happier with our decision to join KA! Our 3 year old loves going to school and we are so happy with how much he’s learned and how engaged he is each day. His teachers have been WONDERFUL! Needless to say, our previous daycare closing was a blessing in disguise.

Our daughter has been going here for a couple of months now. She loves it. We checked out a bunch or other places but after we walked around with the owner for our visit, the choice was clear. I know my daughter is safe, cared for, and learning. We get updates with pictures of her and art projects daily. We have two children enrolled at Kiddie Academy EC. Our oldest has been there for almost 5 years. I remember how stressful and difficult it was to pick a preschool, but I can honestly say we made the right choice.The teachers and staff are like family. They are kind, patient, and genuinely care about each child (shout-out to Miss A., who has had a tremendous impact on our son’s development). The facilities are warm and inviting. Each classroom is well-stocked with books, supplies, and educational toys.The curriculum is amazing, with a focus on reading, writing, STEM, and language development. In addition, they plan a variety of fun activities for the kids throughout the week, including things like Zumba, jujitsu, soccer, and spirit days. They also frequently host family-friendly events on weekends and holidays.If you are looking for the right preschool for your little ones, I highly recommend Kiddie Academy EC!!

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! My kid goes from 7 to 1:30 daily. After much research my husband and I decided to enroll our six-month-old into kiddie Academy. We had been on a waiting list for the place and I’m so happy that we waited because our son has simply thrived there. I was really nervous to have my little baby out of my arms and in a daycare but everyone who works there is so warm professional and really interested in the health safety and development of my son. I cannot thank them enough for their love and care. My son is high energy and he always does new activities, plays with new toys, and has learned to interact with others. Miss Britt (seriously the best), Miss Faiza, and Miss Sheena have been so wonderful and my son really looks forward to going to school every day bc of them. He has developed so well and has learned to feed himself, draw, make friends, meet and play with Ms Janki’s dog( we don’t have pets at home and he never met one before), art projects, and learn new songs and sign language! Love the facility and the big large windows and amazing playground. They always make sure he eats well and gets a good nap. Tons of photos throughout the day. I highly recommend them from a first time mom’s point of view. Also Love the management too Miss Brandi and Miss Trisha are always easy to reach on phone and email and are the first friendly smiles we see every morning. They use an app to help in pick ups which makes it easy for my mom to get my son. Also they have done a great job keeping everyone safe and the place clean during covid.

Best day care we’ve used yet. Our third child, 2 years old, is at KA. The teachers and administrators are amazing. They have so many activities for the kids - yoga, Spanish class, soccer. The schools puts on a huge Halloween party. Communication is great. The center is very clean. Not sure how they keep a daycare as clean as they do, but they do! My child loves it there and so do we!

The teachers and staff at Kiddie Academy are like family to us! Our oldest daughter (who is now 7) was at Kiddie Academy between ages 3-6. She has excelled tremendously in her elementary school, and feel that a lot of it has been because of her learning structure in Kiddie Academy. Our youngest daughter has been part of the Kiddie Academy family for almost 3 years. All of her teachers have been more than amazing and have treated her like one of their own children. We can’t recommend Kiddie Academy enough! We love everyone there!

We have had our nearly 3 year old little girl there for about 2 weeks now. This is the third place we’ve tried in the 18 months we’ve been back in Maryland. Kiddie Academy is everything we’ve been looking for. The facility is very clean, warm, and inviting. The staff and teachers are great. The teachers are engaged and actively teaching the kiddos. We love the tadpole app they use to keep parents informed about daily activities and other happenings/events they host. Each room is loaded with material and tools for the children to utilize to enhance their learning. We simply cannot say enough good things and are overwhelmingly relieved and happy we were able to get our little girl into their center.

In this trying time, one of positive things I know for sure is to finish my way overdue reviews on the amazing services our family have received. KA in Ellicott City comes to my mind immediately. This daycare center is led by an amazing couple. They demonstrate what it means to be a good business/a good citizen. They dont just make the family happy. They invest heavily and wholeheartedly in the development of the child and the family, the future our children. They talk to you like how your close siblings would talk to you with transparency and sincerity. Amazing leaders are always surrounded by excellent staff. I can easily think of a handful of names who have provided my daughter with love and positive influence in the center. KA@ EC way to go and thank you!

We could not be happier that we decided to enroll our daughter - now two years old - at Kiddie Academy of Ellicott City last year. The building is clean and safe. The staff is amazing – both personally and professionally. They know each child and truly care for them and are excited by each step in their development. Daily communication with parents is consistent and staff is very responsive to emails and phone calls. Our daughter loves to go KA each day, which eases the guilt of a working mom! We are amazed by how much she learns at Kiddie Academy. They provide the perfect balance of love, care, and education. If my daughter can’t be at home with us, there is no place I would rather she spend her days!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this school. We are mid way through our second year sending our son here. The family who owns this school is incredibly invested and has created a loving community. The teachers are caring, the classrooms are spotless, they serve healthy home cooked meals and keep the kiddos engaged in an endless list of creative activities. I go to work and dont worry about him a bit and most evenings I find it difficult to pull him away from all the fun! We are so grateful that we have the chance to send our son here.

Our daughter has been here part-time for about a year. Her teachers have all been so kind and patient with her and keep us well-informed about her development and any issues. We greatly appreciate how flexible the school is with drop off times, the healthy meals and snacks provided, the cleanliness of the rooms and playground, the great consistent support staff, the emphasis on outdoor play, and how everyone, from Janaki to the part-time staff, knows our kid by name. We feel our daughter is safe and has fun here.

My wife and I have been looking for a preschool for our son for a long time. We visited Kiddie Academy not realizing we needed an appointment and were greeted by the assistant director Malissa who took us through the center and patiently answered most of our questions. We then met with the director Michele who spoke with us at length about what we can do to prepare our child for kindergarten and some other topics that we were concerned about. I cannot get over how much time both of these women spent with my wife and I and how knowledgeable they are regarding child development. After visiting all of the other preschools in the area, we know that Kiddie Academy is the one for us. Great staff and beautiful school!

My child has been in Kiddie Academy of Ellicott City for a couple of months. I had checked four childcare facilities in the area. KA in Ellicott City is the best place which not only provide daycare but also the early childhood education. This facility is clean and well organized. My son is always happy to be there. His teachers are so nice and friendly who never left him alone when he started. Every day we got several updates with pictures of our child through Tadpoles App to know he was doing well there. The administrative team is amazing. They did a good job on holding events such as Halloween Party, Thanksgiving Lunch, parents night-out, etc. We feel so lucky to have KA as our childcare provider!

We are very happy here! The staff and teachers are so caring and creative in their approach to all the kids education. We get emails each day with photos and updates about our child. They provide two healthy snacks and a well-balanced lunch each day. The space is clean, bright, and inviting. Our child loves it here, and so do we.

I have been so pleased with Kiddie Academy of Ellicott City. We have been with them for a little over a year after being on a waiting list for a while... but let me tell you, it was worth the wait! My daughter has a late birthday so she just missed the cutoff for Kindergarten this year. I am a Kindergarten teacher and have been so impressed with what she has been learning, socially, emotionally and academically. All of her teachers have been wonderful, and really celebrate the whole child. There are extra programs with STEM days, Spanish, Yoga, Jiu-Jitsu, Zumba... and those are all included! My daughter looks forward to school and I know she is being cared for by the best! Its truly a family, and we are so blessed to be a part of it!

KAE is an amazing school. We had two kids enrolled and we all had a great experience. The teachers were motivated and went the extra mile. The front office was also great! While it is a business, they ran it with the mind set of kids and staff first. Because of this, we saw very little staff turnover, which is highly unusual for this type of work. Also, they were open a lot! Many places close for an entire week for winter break and then another 5 or 6 days for professional days. Not KAE.Ive worked in many schools and daycares and this is the best Ive seen by far.The only reason we left is because we had to move for work.

I couldnt be happier with the experience my family has had with Kiddie Academy of Ellicott City. The staff here are amazing! They incorporate a wide variety of activities that make learning fun for her. I have seen a huge change in her development and would highly recommend this center to all of our family and friends.

Bringing my little ones to KAE in the morning  is like leaving them with family. Everyone from the teachers, the aides, to the administrative staff are very nice and professional. From my observation, the staff really care about every single child at KAE and know them by name.  My wife and I particularly like the daily email updates with video and pictures of our kids as they go about their routine. We feel that KAE takes the safety and education of our kids very seriously.They always seem to have extracurricular activities going on that is fun for the kids and the parents. For example, Trunk or Treat (Halloween), Parent date/ movie night etc. Without saying too much if you are looking for the perfect daycare and learning center for your little one, this is the place for you.

My son started his first preschool here, in last May (he was close to 2.5 yrs at that time). He is showing tremendous improvement and we are very happy about it! Its my daughters second week in Kiddie Academy of Ellicott City. If there is a 6 star rating, I will not hesitate to give it. Im the father of two little babies who cares about them more than myself.Before sending my kid to the day care, we spent over 2 months to research and interview the day cares in Howard county. All the montessori schools and normal day care schools with good reviews are in our list. And eventually I chose the Kiddie Academy for the reasons below:1. Its located near the core of Ellicott city. The traffic is convenient. There are H mart, Lotte and Safeway nearby. And there are a lot of food choices over there.2. The school size is decent with enough classrooms and big play yard. It is not over crowed at all. My kid is comfortable to stay in the facility.3. Its cost is not that high. work people like us can afford.4. We talked to the owners, they are easy going and nice.5. My friend strongly recommended it to us.In the first two weeks, we observed everything we experienced and felt we definitely made right choice.For us, the People who run the day care matters most to the kids. The Owner of kiddie Academy is a respectful and nice couple who always care about the students and their parents. They are doing such as a great job to make us happy and win our trust.They always send 1 to 2 daily reports to the parents. In the reports, what kids eat and what they do will be shared to us with photos and videos. These reports really mean a lot to us when we are at work. From the activities, we are able to know how our kids are motivated to do fun stuffs such as writing on lacing cards, number sorting, jump bunch and etc.There are 2-3 teachers in one class. So kids will get more attentions and care. These ladies are nice and patient. In my daughters class, all of her teachers are fantastic. Its my daughters second week, there were 2 wetting accidents happened to her. The teachers dealt with accidents in a such as great way that my daughter kept saying she likes her teachers after getting home.Overall, Kiddie Academy of Ellicott City is the best.

I first enrolled my daughter in kiddie academy as a part time student when she was 2 years old. Over the past 3 1/2 years, the staff and families of KA have become our extended family. Though she is now turning 6 and enrolled in elementary school, she still attends KA as a drop in. Every time she enters the doors, it is clear she is still very loved and missed by staff and peers alike. She has been very successful in kindergarten and I credit every bit of that to the teachers at Kiddie Academy. They really take the time out to ensure each individual child is excelling in every aspect of learning. The extra curricular activities that are provided by the center (and not to mention included in the tuition-super awesome) have helped my daughter to find interest in things most children are not introduced to until later in life such as STEM, Zumba, and even Jiu-jitsu! She loves to share stories with her non-KA friends about the exciting new skills she’s acquired through those activities. In addition to the amazing team, they also put on fantastic events throughout the year that are open to the public. Our favorites are the Christmas events and the Story Time Live events. I would recommend Kiddie Academy of EC to any and everyone who is faced with the decision of finding a childcare facility. Best decision I’ve ever made regarding my child’s education. My child has been in Kiddie Academy since he was one. We absolutely love the staff, curriculum, environment, and leadership! Oh, did I forget to mention the tasteful events they throw together periodically? High five!

My daughter has been going to kiddie academy of Ellicot city for almost a year and that’s the best decision we have made for her education. She has loved every level she’s been in and can’t wait to join her teachers when she gets to class. My son goes to the after care class where they do so many enlightening activities which save me from enrolling him in extracurricular activities. The front office is the mostly friendly school administration I have encountered. They are very friendly and are always willing to help in any way. I truly appreciate all the staff who are always ready with a smile. I would not go to any other preschool ( my son went to Goddard and The young school and KA Ellicott City tops them).

We spent a lot of time researching options in the area before we settled on KA of EC, and heard such great reviews from other parents (now we know why!). Our familys experience with Kiddie Academy of Ellicott City has been nothing, but WONDERFUL. Janaki and Stephanie made the process of choosing a daycare very easy since we relocated to this area recently. On the tour, they answered all our questions and made us feeling very comfortable having our 2 year old son join their program. Since his attendance, I can tell he is learning a lot...he really is excited about reading and exploring. Some added things that I like are they include all meals (AM snack, lunch, and PM snack...I have no time to pack lunches with my schedule) and they sometime have events that families can go to that makes it really feel like a family. GREAT CHILDCARE! We highly recommend.

I am very pleased with the care my daughter is getting. She has two of the most caring teachers. Overall all the personal is very nice. Its like another family!They also have a variety of programs for the kids: like Zumba, jiu jitsu; and activities where they invite the parents to participate. We even receive homework for the weekends sometimes which allows us to get involved with what our kids are learning on a daily basis!In addition, i love that lunch and snacks are provided there. I like the flexibility that Kiddie Academy offers which helps to provide the best educational services to each child regardless of age and/or learning style.

The place is clean, and better for 0-2 year olds. The staff for older kids seemed unfriendly to the kids and careless. The director entered my phone number from the form into their system, and when they tried to call me one day, they said the number was disconnected. On looking at the number it was entered incorrectly. and instead of accepting their mistake they were pointing fingers at me that i didnt provide the correct number. Even before looking at the form.My son fell from the monkey bars under their watch and broke his elbow but instead of informing me immediately, they made him sit their for three hours and were applying icepacks. infact in the beginning they didnt even hear to his cries, when he complained, the teacher said youre fine. They made him have his lunch and even asked him to pull his chair at story time.all this after he had already been in so much pain. They called me when he couldnt pull his chair out. Accidents can happen anywhere, but they handled it so wrong. Imagine the pain that child went through just because they were trying to cover it up by applying ice packs. What if he would have hurt his head, or something serious might have happened. If you decide to put your kid here, please tell them clearly that they should contact you at the slightest sign of trauma. After this happening, i wish no parent should have to go through what we went through. These people are careless and the fact that I put my kids there really hurts me.

Owners and staffs are friendly. School offers lots of activities and prepares kids ready for kindergarten.

My son joined Kiddie Academy shortly after they opened their doors. He was two years old and that time and from the beginning I was impressed with the facility/environment and especially the owners. Janaki and Hemang really care about each and every child and it shows. They are always friendly and greet you when you come in and when you leave and personally interact with each child. They are also very kind and thoughtful. My son somehow lost a new toy that he brought to school and when we couldnt find it when I came to pick him up, Hemang went above and beyond and ordered him a brand new replacement toy. They really listen/respond to your concerns regarding any issues. Weve had good experiences with his teachers so far who have been friendly and give me honest feedback on his behavior (good and bad). I love that the staff really does do everything that they can to accommodate your child and are not quick to call to pick him up for every little ailment. They give you courtesy calls, which are nice and then if he does in fact have a fever, etc...then you can come pick him up, but they never rush you and even if you are running a little late they are patient and still sit/spend time with your child (even after hours). I cant say enough good things and I trust my son. Afterall, the owners trust their own small child there so I have faith all children are getting the same quality of care they would give their own child.
