St. Peters Lutheran School of Elk Grove has not only met, but exceeded our expectations. Every person we have come into contact with there - the principal, teachers, coaches, administrative staff, etc. - has been incredibly kind, welcoming, friendly, helpful and extremely competent. We have six children (four of whom are now grown adults) who have attended a variety of public and private schools, so we have experienced many different teachers, administrations and philosophies of teaching. I wholeheartedly recommend St. Peters Lutheran School, and just wish that we had found it earlier!

I have three kids, all of whom have started at St. Peters for preschool and are now in the elementary classes. They run into school with smiles every day and when I pick them up, they never want to leave. They are greeted and spoken to by adults throughout their day. They are spoken to with love and kindness when conflicts arise. Ive been able to address concerns at any time with visits, emails, and texts throughout the day. If I just want to see if my boys itchy spot is feeling better or did I remember to give my daughter a drink in her lunch box, I can text a staff member and they will reply promptly. The focus of the school is on a nurturing environment, and I know this to be true in how peaceful and happy my kids are there. I am a public school teacher of 18 years and while I can attest to all public schools have to offer (which is A LOT), I can also honestly proclaim that St. Peters is where I trust my children can receive a quality education and be reaffirmed with a sense of accountability to self and others at all times. Students enter the EGUSD high schools and tend to do very well. Our childrens education at St. Peters is a gift we are blessed to and have chosen to give each of our children.

Lovely school with a family atmosphere. Teacher know all the children and greets them all by name. Honors classes, iPad program, and an excellent Basketball and Volleyball program, this school has been a great fit for my two children. I feel especially blessed that my dyslexic child found teachers willing to work for her success, and my gifted child found a curriculum that is challenging enough to keep him engaged. God and His love is felt on this campus. Thank you St. Peters.

St. Peters is giving my son a top notch education both intellectually and spiritually. They truly care about the whole child. The school community they have built is impressive. I have never seen more parent involvement at a school. I worked there for a number of years in the past, and when it came time to choose a school for my son there was no hesitation. He is an Eagle!

Great school! My kids have been here since preschool and we plan to keep them here through 8th grade. Strong academics as well as opportunities to join sports teams, band, speech meets, and more. The teachers and staff get to know the kids personally in a safe, nurturing environment.

The school has awsome caring staff that really take time to listen to your concerns. The environment is very family oriented. They focus on education and very God centered with everything

My Son and Daughter have been at St Peters for almost 3 years — they started in the preschool as 3-year olds. We are blessed to have found a place or my children are safe, loved and receiving a fantastic education. They are reading, writing and know addition/subtraction half way through Kindergarten. They also know and love Christ and demonstrate daily there your name to know him better.

SPLS is a Christ-centered school that feels like a family. Teachers invest in each child’s academic, social, and spiritual development. The principal knows each student by name and works closely with families to create a partnership in their child’s education. The daycare staff are serious about the relationships they build with students. I can’t recommend St. Peter’s highly enough.

We value the education that our son has received here. Teachers are attentive, administration is supportive, safety is a priority, and the value of parent involvement is important to the school. My child is surrounded by caring adults and receives a love-filled Christian education.

Our kids have been attending St. Peters since preschool, and now the oldest will soon be promoting from 8th grade and will be a freshman this fall. We love the family friendly environment, the teachers, and academic skills. In addition, these things are taught with a religious emphasis in all that they do. I highly recommend our school for preschool through 8th grade!
