Absolutely love this daycare! The staff goes out of their way to ensure my baby gets breast milk since she won’t take a bottle. They spend extra time and care trying other methods and even suggesting ideas to make sure she gets nourishment. My older child is learning so much with the curriculum. Before he started he couldn’t do his Alphabet and after just a few weeks he was able to, thanks to their excellent structure. The director and assistant director take time to talk with us about how our children are doing and answer any questions we have. They are always available and helpful. I am so thankful for the blessing of this facility and the staff there! Everyone is smiling and friendly and treat my children as if they are their own. Could not ask for a better experience!

I have been taking my son to NBCA for over a year now, and it have been nothing less than the a absolute best! My son enjoys going to school with playing learning and connecting with others! Great system for Curriculum for each age group! He comes home with new info each day, and all of the stuff he worked on to show me. Staff always go above and beyond for my son and I. Going the extra mile anytime they can. Always making us comfortable with anything. Great documentation for everything with what they do each day. So happy my son has this academy to grow and learn.

We recently moved our child from a different daycare to here and I am very pleased. She is learning so much at this facility already, daily reports sent home and daily activity papers from what they are learning are also sent home. It’s nice to see the staff working with the children and to see them make learning fun. The staff is very personable and informative. So glad we made the switch to New Beginnings!

I have been taking my son to this daycare since he was 8 months old and he is now 2 and a half. I absolutely love this place and the school director, teachers and staff are all so friendly. It’s hard to find a place you can really trust to leave your children but I recommend this school 100% and am so blessed that my son is always in good hands.

I have been working here since my oldest was barely one. She will be 3 in September. I now have two kids and I am so happy with the care my kids get. I love my job. There were times in the past I had issues with management but as soon as I ADDRESSED my issues, they were resolved. I absolutely love all the kids in my class and I can assure you that each teacher there is there with a purpose. I am so proud to be a part of the NBCA family and it will not be a decision you regret.

Excellent childcare facility. All 3 of my children enjoy being there and i am very pleased with the care the receive. The director is always avaiable and very attentive to the children and employees. Also, all of the employees are very well trained and have an obvious passion for working with children.

I personally do not recommend working or having your children attend this daycare. I used to work here and the current director is rude and does not treat her employees well or with respect. She is not a very nice lady and doesnt even seem to like children! She tells them to hush it and to stop whining. When the kids are sick and you ask her to take the child and call their parents, she says she will be right down and half the time doesnt even come and lets all the other children get sick. One time she tried giving me more children than what was allowed and that is against states rules. At the end of the day she would send kids to me from other rooms and would not give me their diapers or wipes sometimes so i was forced to use the other childrens. I have heard from many employees that a child was sick and the teacher asked her to come get the child and she did not and the child had a seizure. I have heard other teachers scream at the children and even saw one former employee hold a child down against his will because they were not listening. If you care about you childrens safety do NOT bring them to NBCA.

I as a stern mother did not want to pay for a facility just for them to baby sit my child. I wanted a facility that had a curriculum, structure, and expectations. This is why I chose NBCA, they have all of those and more! We dont call this a daycare in our home, my son and I call this a school. He looks forward to seeing all the staff and learning everyday.

Im not sure I would ever bring my kids here. I called twice, and left my name with an employee for the director to call me back so I could talk about enrolling my kids. Never got a phone call back. Then, I hear about a story about a child who had a seizure, and the parent was not notified until after the fact(I would be livid). Not only that, but the stories I have heard about how the employees were treated, I dont think that I would be comfortable sending my kids there anyway. Its unfortunate, because on the outside, it seems like such a good place 😔

My son has been attending this daycare since he was about 1 (hes now 2.5). I have nothing but good things to say about this facility. They all know my child by name, keep me informed as a parent, and are constantly doing activities and lessons with my child. He has learned so much since coming to this facility. He RUNS into the building every morning and Im confident hes in good hands while leaving him there for the day. The staff call or text me quickly with concerns regarding his day and are always quick to respond. There has been some staff turnover in the recent months, which has only improved this place! Im more confident with his new teachers and his new routines than I have ever been before. NBCA is a wonderful place for children to grow and learn.

My son started school here and LOVES IT !!! NBCA staff has ALWAYS made sure we as parents always felt more then welcomed at any time or the day. I was so nervous to leave him called many times made sure everyone had my cell, they always show me funny things he has done or other stop and talk to me about his day, everyone knows about what is going on with every child. His Teachers are WONDERFUL, ATTENTIVE, CARING & LOVING to our sweet boy! Im so glad we found this place. We have special safety procedures for him and they are posted in every room so everyone know exactly what needs to be done. ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND NBCA to EVERYONE looking for a place, one where staff loves your child like their own.

As a new employee at NBCA I would highly recommend the facility for loving childcare for your children. Since beginning here in March I have seen nothing but friendly, nurturing and caring staff - from the director, office staff, individual teachers and all staff involved with the day to day operation of the center. If you are looking for a caring Christian facility NBCA is it.

I cant say enough good things about this daycare. They are absolutely amazing. The teachers do a lot of 1 on 1 with the kids. They always have something fun going on for the kids too. They follow a school like curriculum so your kids do alot of educational things also. My 3 year old has learned SO MUCH since he started here. I highly recommend this daycare to anyone.

My son started going to this facility in 2014 at the age of 3 until he was ready for Kindergarten. We had wonderful experiences then and he loved going everyday. The teachers knew me by name and asked me how my day was when I walked in the door. The staff was very friendly and professional. I truly feel like he was in a wholesome and safe Christian environment with teachers and staff that cared about his wellbeing. I am STILL friends with all of his teachers to this day!Fast forward to 2018. I have a daughter who now needs childcare. I walk in for a walkthrough and a painting my son and his class did in 2014 is still there. I got a bit emotional when I saw that little painting. As I am meeting some new faces, I also see some faces I recognize from when my son was there. I knew immediately this was AGAIN the one! The staff are still just as caring and sweet. The teachers are beyond amazing and I adore each of them. I often recieve pictures of my little one. My daughter knew several words in sign language a little after one. I cant express how amazed and grateful I am for my experiences.

I’m sad to see what it has become. When it was ECA it was the best place to be.. I had my boy in Heartland for two weeks when we were here the first time. . It was his first public school. That didn’t last two weeks. . hated it there. He was miserable . So when we came back I was looking forward to going back to ECA only to discover it was gone., but now all the ECA kids go to North Hardin Christian Academy so we followed .. I have a child there and it is really good. My sons favorite teacher also ended up over there. I wish he still had her but she teaches the smaller ones. She is pure gold!! I hope y’all find your way over there. Your child will be safe! And happy. Peace of mind was always a concern of mine and I have it here.. the drive is worth it! come on over y’all !!

I do not recommend the childcare center... they are very unprofessional! My child had a seiszure at this facility and the teacher called the office 3 times to let management know she wasnt feeling well and that she was crying for me... they brushed her off like she was nothing. Finally a teacher went back to check on her and she began to convulse and the teacher brought her to the office... she turned blue and stiff before they even took it seriously. My heart broke for my baby... I almost lost her because of their negligence. I wasnt called until she was at the hospital. Since that day my baby was labeled and I was told she was a liability to the center. Please search for childcare elsewhere. Do your research...

I am sharing this on behalf of another former employee who wrote it and found out later it was deleted.I was a teacher at NBCA. I left a month ago do to poor management. When a child had a seizure the director was called 3 times to check on the child and failed to do so, the teachers handled it and then were told they were in the wrong. No, it wouldnt have went as far as it did if the director had checked on the child when she was 1st notified and other teachers would not have been involved. Then to be told your child is a liability is so uncalled for. I loved working with the children, but once you step out of your room its complete craziness. Employees are treated poorly and were told repeatedly that we are easily replaceable. Even to the ones who showed up and did their job CORRECTLY were easily replaceable it being said to you so many times it starts to get under your skin. The director herself is racist, i know that for a fact she uses the excuse, I have family members that are not white she hates it. I had a child in my care beautiful little girl and the director asked, how can you love on her all the time, that was just gross. She was from Africa and so beautiful i knew the director was racist, but to hear her talk about a child like that ran all through me. When you first walk in, yes it looks cleans, nut get into those rooms it is awful. A teacher mopped a table with a nasty mop before. They use the same mop to clean the bathroom floors as they do to clean the floors the children crawl on. The heat went out in dead of winter. No central air, just window units and in some rooms that doesnt help much especially when its really hot out. Children have been left alone on multiple occasions like leaving them in the ball room and one running up and down the hallway along with climbing/running up the stairs with no teacher in sight. Many times the food has been either burnt or cold, but still served. $100 supply fee per kid, yet teachers buy so much out of their own pockets. You can never find what you need to do crafts. Ive heard teachers yell at kids, Ive seen teachers a little rough with kids. I go and I go to the director about these kinds of things, but nothing is ever done. You get to the point where you just stop wasting your breath on things not getting fixed. Parents are upset because their children are in room, but there belongings are in another or they dont know what room there child is in, because they arent informed that they have been moved to close other rooms down for the night. Children not going to age appropriate classes because NBCA is under staffed. Not taking a sick child out of the class away from the others, so they dont get sick as well which is REQUIRED! Stapling a pull-up together on a child. There are some good teachers at NBCA that truly love what they do, but theres others that are there just for the check. I enjoyed working there up until the last 6 months when management didnt even care. I was told by the director herself that she didnt even care if the doors closed. Just check them out ask all the questions you want answered plus more that cross your mind, but you brush off just because it didnt seem important. YOUR CHILD AND THEIR SAFETY AND WELL BEING IS IMPORTANT!! Ask for their state write-ups you have the right to see them. A director should not have to ask parents and staff to write reviews. I was told many times that i was a good teacher and that they (the parents) didnt want me to leave, but when i put my notice of 3 weeks, 2 days in i worked all day and then as i was leaving i was told my services were no longer needed, here is 2 weeks pay. Wow.. I still talk to parents and the teachers that are still there and i hear its crazy. Just remember you as a parent dont see everything. Ive never wrote a review before, but this needed to be said. I wouldnt let my grand children go there.

Updated review: Had a negative personal experience with the care of our child. Took entirely too long for them to take action in finding an appropriate way to deal with a child physically harming mine repeatedly. It was not until he had been bitten hard enough to leave bruises numerous times, came home with blood wounds from other types of abuse on two seperate occasions, and then management warned by myself of potential action against the organization that anything considerable was done to protect mine or any other children from the repeated harm of another. One of the injuries pictured was bad enough that he still has a scar. Our experience with their management of these incidents aside, it does appear to be an overall good childcare facility. I simply hope that they choose to manage incidents like these better in the future. I understand that singular incidents happen with children from time to time and I do not expect them to never occur, but the amount and severity of offenses all from the same child is something that should not have been ignored for so long. If you are working with a troubled child struggling to learn right and wrong I understand, but that should not be at the cost of other children.
