Getting my first belt with Coach Justin was so rewarding. I had never experienced any martial arts training prior to starting in November. Since then Ive trained with some of the most honorable and skilled coaches, with fellow fighters who have had years of diverse experiences and styles, and have an incredible time while burning heaps of calories. It feels so good to be in shape, to feel secure and strong in my own body and to know that if needed I could dominate an aggressor and escape. I plan to continue to progress with my belts and to be an outstanding example of feminine strength for my two little girls. LIFE CHANGING - THANK YOU ACADEMY!

I am so grateful I found this place! My 4-year-old son goes there and he loves it so much. The coaches are amazing. They are super fun and at the same time discipline them, and teach them how to respect each other and everyone else and be kind. I am seeing so much change in my son so far especially with discipline. They have these work sheets for reading, discipline and healthy eating that parents fill, and kids get strips for their belts whenever they complete a certain number. My son is motivated to do so much now. I highly recommend it for any parent who wants his kids to be in martial arts because they are learning so much more here!

I love the Academy Eden Prairie. I feel so lucky it is here now! Jiu Jitsu training has taken everything in my personal and professional life to a new level. It is working out while learning a skill that actually has value. Every kid should be in Jiu Jitsu. In fact, every adult should be in Jiu Jitsu!

The coaches are excellent. They really command attention while still being fun and caring with the kids. They also encourage the kids to learn and develop positive life habits and character traits in motivating ways!

The instructors are awesome and you actually get to learn how to do the moves right. Other great thing is I feel more confident if I was attacked, I would be able to defend myself. Even though I am not eating healthy as I should be. I have definitely seen a change in my body and have had more energy. Its real fun with a relaxing atsomphere where you feel accepted right away. 😊

We attend the Academy as a family, with children from age 4 to 8. The coaches have been exceptional, well-qualified and well-trained, friendly and give personal attention and advice to each individual. Good Instructors, Knowledge and Facilities. Way too MONEY hungry though. Like seriously....theyre charging as if everyone is RICH. Even if you get put on their scholarship program where they bring down the price to like 80 from like 300+ and then obligate you to six months and increase it each month. What a joke. I didnt know I had to be wealthy to learn self defense.

I was in town for a couple days for work, I connected with Hayden for a private lesson. Hayden has a relaxed demeanor, listens carefully and the resulting teaching style is very effective. He identified areas of strength and where improvement could be done. Based on that, he organized his teaching session accordingly. I learned alot from my 1 hr class and when I come through Minneapolis again, I will definitely be back for another private session or join a group class.

Its been great training at the Academy! Im getting in excellent shape, losing fat and gaining muscle. I’m down 10lbs but stronger than ever and really improving my Jiu-Jitsu. I love the 6:00 am class to get my workouts in before work

I starting training Brazilian jiu-jitsu about a year ago and Ive lost 45 lbs. Martial arts are a great way to get in shape and its a ton of fun! The coaches here help you meet your personal gaols, and care about your progress. The academy always has a welcoming atmosphere, and amazing hands on training! So if your in the Eden Prairie area I highly recommend the academy!

I had a great experience at this gym. I did a private session with coach Hayden and from just one session I already learnt new skills and drills and feel I got little better at Muay Thai. The gym is very clean, spacious and well equipped. I highly recommend checking it out!

Joined a couple weeks ago and already feel like I have learned quite a bit. They go slow enough for you to learn the proper techniques and give great feedback to correct what you are doing wrong during training.

Im back in Jiu jitsu after being gone for almost 10 years. Hayden at the Eden Prairie location met me at 6 am to show me around the club introduced me to every one and helped me get into my first class smoothly. I have been popping into random schools throughout the twincities looking to find a school that felt good and was worth the money. After the 1st 10 minutes of being in the studio i knew the Academy was the place for me. I would recommend them to anybody even mildly interested in getting into martial arts. I have been at the academy as a beginner level having no experience of Muay-thai before. I joined this gym back in december 2016 and been there ever since.To be honest, it is more like a one to one class rather because the coaches here keep an eye out on every student irrespective of their level. I feel this is important because it is never too late to start doing something rather than assuming that it is not a right time because you are a beginnerI strongly recommend to check this place out, they have different payement plans, a beginners class to help you settle and you have the power to decide if you want to continue.Special shoutout to coaches justin, lucas and hayden.

Great team atmosphere! Every one is in there to push themselves for a fight or personal reasons! Coaches are good guys, they really want you to develop and learn the technique. Ive been training at other gyms and I have had the most growth in this one! Brazilian jujitsu (BJJ) is great with a black belt instructor who rolls with his team and gives tips to each persons individuala style. The Muay Thai is taught at a pace where everyone from day one people to fighters can get a good sweat going and still develop.

Instructors are extremely knowledgable in Muay Thai and BJJ. Every class you learn something new and gain skills useful for self-defense. Classes are a great workout and you will get a good sweat in every time. I have seen vast improvements in my cardio fitness and increased power in my kicks. The Academy Eden Prairie has the best Brazilian Jiu-JITSU, Muay Thai kickboxing, and mixed martial arts classes Ive taken yet. The instructors really care about the development of their students. I came in as a total beginer and felt right at home. Ive seen the coaches work with advanced adults though as well and seen children really come out of their shell with their increased self confidence.
