I meant to leave this review back in May, but I wanted to share my experience.My son recently attended prek at this location. Despite him being difficult, he enjoyed his time there. There were many times that I had a hard time getting my child to behave,, yet the staff always remained friendly, communicative and professional.

I have been with the sunshine house for almost two years. My experience with them has been nothing short of perfection. They treat my child with love and attention. I truly believe they have helped her in childhood development, and also in her socialization. With a safe yet fun environment, and healthy well structured meals and education. They have been a tad pricey for me, but it is well worth it. I HIGHLY recommend them.

I love the Sunshine House. This is my 2nd go round here after 12 years. It was quite a shock to Mrs. Tammy, Mrs. Sandra and Mrs. Kelly Walker as well but I was glad that these 3 ladies were still there. They make you feel like family and they were that way when my first born went there. I have always been able to leave my girls there and feel comfortable knowing that they are in very good hands. The teachers are awesome! We love the Sunshine House. Keep up the good work ladies!

My child was injured at the sunshine house several years ago. They promised to cover the bill. The claim was filed with their corporate office. They never paid the doctors bill and I have the derogatory account on my credit. I have called numerous times to have the matter resolved to no avail. I have called corporate and they have home been responsive. Its been several years now. I have sent messages and emails.

Great school. My son loves his teachers. I love the daily updates on what my son is doing. The director is very welcoming and the overall staff is nice and very courteous. I would highly recommend this school.

My 4yr old loves this school and his teachers, it’s all he talks about. I receive daily updates on what he’s learning and his daily activities. The overall staff is courteous and welcoming. Great school and would highly recommend it.

I absolutely love the staff! Amazing people. So friendly! I made a good choice enrolling my daughter in their summer program about 2 years ago. The children have a great time learning and having fun at the same time. They get to go on field trips, enjoy water activities and so much more! They still get the advantages of learning when not in school. Absolutely love it! Keeps my daughter occupied while my husband and I go to work. Their before and after school program is also a life saver, I couldnt ask for a better daycare for my child!

We love sunshine house! It’s such an amazing daycare and facility! They are more like family! And they have a true love for kids! My child is a toddler and he enjoys it!

This is the best daycare center in Douglasville! I always feel so welcome when I walk through the door! They are honestly like a big family! My 1 year old and 3 year old love their teachers! They are learning and thriving everyday! My husband and I feel our children are safe, happy, and healthy here! We love The Sunshine House!

I love the sunshine house. The staff are friendly and patient here. My three year old and five year old go here and They like it a lot. Homework is done is after school and they are still learning while also enjoying themselves.

My 4 year old calls this place MY Sunshine House hes been going since he was 2. We have grown to become family with all the wonderful women who run the sunshine house. It is such a Great feeling knowing that when Im at work my son is safe & taken care of.

Really great preschool program. My daughter has blossomed going there. Highly recommend! Ms Keisha and Ms Dianne are amazing and truly care about your kids!

My daughter loves going to Pre-K here. Everyone is wonderful!

My son attends Sunshine House Pre-K program. Every encounter with Ms Clark is very pleasant. The staff seems to be very pleasant and caring of any concerns brought forth by a parent and they are always quick to respond to the parents if there are any concerns. The teachers for the pre-k one class are really nice and the children seems to love them. It is always nice to check the sunshine house app to see daily classroom activities and pictures. Overall this is a really good location if youre looking for a good pre-k program.

My son and daughter have been going to this daycare since July of last year and they absolutely love it! I was so scared switching to a new daycare after moving, but I couldnt be more pleased. My toddler ADORES his teacher! The staff is always courteous, friendly, and professional. It makes a difference! Also, my daughters homework is always done at the after-school program, which helps me tremendously since I have a bit of a commute. So helpful!

Ms. Tammy is the best director a parent could ask for. She is extremely helpful and so very sweet. This center is not only reasonable, but they supply diapers and baby food. They have made my first daycare experience as a new mommy exceptional. I wish i didnt have to move because my daughter would continue here. My daughter had the sweetest teachers who actually cared about her. They even learned her personality. I really recommend this daycare center to everyone!

My toddler is in Mrs. Kellys daycare class and she absolutely loves her class. This is my fourth daycare and I can finally say that I can walk away at ease when I drop her off.

My daughter loved it there. Definitely recommend this place (Stewart Mill location). Great teachers, specially Ms. Diane and Ms. Keisha as well as a great director Mrs. Tammy!

I absolutely love the Sunshine House on Stewart pkwy. My kids have been there for 4 years. Mrs.Tammy is the nicest lady who treats every kid like her own. I have no complaints about this place.

I love this facility, the staff and Tammy! My son is very happy here and the social skills he has learned are invaluable. We have used other places but this has been the best so far. Thank you!!

This center is great! My daughter loves her teachers Mrs.Dian an Mrs.kisha I am very grateful with them. My daughter has learn so much and I seen the staff here show there kindness towers the kids. The director Mrs.tammy is very nice an always helpful. I am also looking forward to take my second child here! I would highly recommend this place for your kid’s.

My only child attends in this school. The teachers and director are very nice and accommodating.I love it when my daughter tells me she loves going to school to learn and gain friends.

I absolutely love these woman they have watched my brother since he was 1 and my brother is currently 5 and loves all of his wonderful after school teachers and ms Tammy is just an amazing director, highly recommended

My kids went to this daycare for a little bit and absolutely loved it as soon as you walk through the door everyone is so welcoming and willing to help this is a amazing daycare

My 8 year old daughter was punched in the face by a 9 year old boy and I was not notified until I arrived that evening to pick up my children. I was immediately rushed behind closed doors and the situation was explained. The center is under staffed and the staff is unqualified. The cameras are there for show because they do not work. The boy who assaulted my child was not reprimanded and the only reason I was given as to why he was not punished was because the director is the only staff member at the center who can issue punishment and at the time of the incident she was in SC and could only focus on her all day long meetings. The adult in the classroom at the time implied that my child deserved to be hit because my child called the little boy a name. This center does not take Child Safety seriously and will hire any unqualified person to look after the children. I have contacted corporate, as well as the state to investigate this center. My recommendation is to go to a different center because your child or children will NOT be safe at this center!

I love the Pre-K program at the Sunshine House on Stewart Mill Rd. My two older daughters went there for Pre-K and my youngest is currently there for Pre-K. Mrs. Clark and the other ladies run this place very well. I visited other pre-k/daycare centers, and this Sunshine House is the best in Douglasville.

Unfortunately, we are in the process of finding a new location to care for our kid. We enjoyed the former infant room teacher and still very much like the normal afternoon teacher, but they have put someone in the room who clearly does not enjoy her job during the mornings. It is to the point that we no longer feel safe with our child under her care for another day and we are immediately ceasing any further care with this facility. Our child has come home with scratches across her neck, mixed up or disappearing items, she stopped feeding and changing our infant regularly, and the kicker for us was other parents reported the teacher sitting back while our infant and another infant were screaming and crying so long in the bouncers that their eyes were bloodshot, and several other issues in this short time. I spoke with the director and felt like I was brushed off without much true consideration. We also had an issue where non age appropriate children were being allowed in the infant room and struck several infants in the head with a toy. I contacted corporate since I felt my concerns were not truly felt and copied the DECAL Consultant on the e-mail since violations listed in her previous reports have not been changed.

I had no problems with this facility until the 4 year old teacher Jessie said my son looked like a sad puppy and she & the assistant teacher Eunice & other kids laughed. She even told me I just wont joke or say anything else to him because hes offended by everything I say! Can you imagine how this makes a 4 year old feel? No this is not offensive to an adult but to a four year old he thought it was rude and was very upset. I provided my concerns to director Tammy Clark and her reply was its up to the parent to explain to their kids things like that she also stated her teachers are not experienced in customer service because she handles those issues. This is vey unsatisfactory. The teacher should have apologized instead of defending why she said it also the director should not make excuses for poor communication. I dont recommend this place.
