I flew a 182 with Andy Hardage and it was a great experience. It was my first flight with a G1000 suite and Andy was patient and very helpful. The 182 was amazing. Very nice condition.

I went on vacation with my family and decided to do several days of flying with Destin Flight Works. The instructors (Dave and Steven) were awesome as well as the front desk person (Yullia).My only complaint were the entry level planes were not very well maintained...showing rust (understandable given being near the ocean) but more relevant dead batteries, planes that would not start and planes with unfilled gas tanks for the first flights of the day.I almost walked away after the first two days but the instructors made it worth it, were able to get me into an upgraded plane, and they made it worth my while. I would use them again but would consider reserving the better, upgraded Cessnas.

Big thank you to Destin flight works and my wonderful instructors Elizabeth and Andy, thank you for getting me up to snuff and helping me get my pilots license. A fantastic flight school to be sure.

Had my discovery flight this Sunday and it was everything to look forward to. I had Elizabeth as my instructor, everything went smooth and all the I formation given prior to departure was straight and to the point. Great Flight Training location!

Excellent experience!

Instructor was behind schedule almost 30 minutes with another student; he said it was because his first student showed up late. My biggest issue with this was there was no one in the office or terminal to answer the phone or any questions about my scheduled flight. Andy was a great instructor who got me in the air and gave me great info to pursue my license. Overall it was a great flight and a good experience, though the customer service prior to the flight could use some work. Maybe something as simple as posting a schedule in the office to let other customers know if theyre behind schedule or if there is some other reason for delays.

I was down here on vacation and wanted to do some flying while I was here. The flight school was able to schedule me for the next day and I flew with Andy who did an awesome job! The planes were well maintained and the people were friendly. Very professional!

I did a Discovery Flight with Lisa, one of their Flight Instructors, in a Cessna 172 today 4/24/27. Lisa is highly professional, nice, sharp, super attentive, and very informative. She let me do a lot of the flying and I really had a good time.

Many knowledgeable instructors but overall organization is lacking professionalism. Rented an aircraft and was not notified of the mic being inoperative before getting to the field. Maintenance is not properly done on the aircraft leaving many standby instruments inoperative. Please have strong personal minimums, for equipment usage and overall SRM/CRM, before renting aircraft.

Very professional. They did maintenance on the spot! like it doesn’t even get better!

Called and left several messages, finally got ahold of someone and they didn’t know any specifics about their aircraft and directed me to their website. She didn’t seem to have time to speak to a customer. Sad that this is what aviation has becocme here in Destin FL.
