I have been taking my son to Master Yosavani’s Academy for about 2 years. My son loves it. and the instructors are phenomenal. He has increased focus, discipline, and sense of accomplishment. All of which we were hoping for when we signed him up.PS- I am sorry if I photographed anyone in these pictures with out their permission while photographing my son.

If you are looking for a place that is warm welcoming, fun, and heartfelt where your children can learn not only Taekwondo, but confidence, hard work, how to be dedicated, and never give up, THIS IS THE PLACE!! If you want you child to do the basic classes or to do competition level training I highly recommend this academy.The Master of the school understands the physical aspects of being an athlete but more importantly, he understands the mental strength that is needed that he gives the kids and he even goes deeper into wanting to help the kids just be good people.I had the pleasure to sit in on 4 classes to see what it would be like for my child, and each time I was greeted pleasantly by the Master of the school when he had time. I also received this same welcome by the staff. The atmosphere here is one of being welcoming to all!I highly encourage everyone to give this place a visit.

Our family has had the honor of participating in a variety of activities at MYTA since 2010. In this martial arts academy we were able to find the most impeccable ethics so important for the integral education of our children. Discipline, perseverance, responsibility, teamwork and respect have been the fundamental principles that have given prestige to this institution and its instructors since its foundation.

Master Yosvani is a wonderful Taekwondo Master with great instructing skills. He has a profound knowledge of elite competition skills and martial art techniques, a combination which is not easy to find. Its a great Taekwondo school for everybody.

Awsome experience. My son and I have been attending together for 2 yrs. Great instructors with good values. Recommend to anyone looking to build confidence in themselves or thier children.

Had the misfortune of coming across the MYT elite team. The most disrespectful youths Ive seen. I was traveling through DIA and saw them in their team uniforms completely being rude deplorable while their teacher just sat there. If you are going to sport your uniforms at least learn how to act right, because that only shows how undisciplined the whole academy is. What kind of elite team is this? If you want your child to learn respect, discipline, and honor...you should find another dojang.

If you are considering enrolling your child, READ THIS FIRST: We took our son to master Yosvany’s Tae Kwon Do class for one week. The classes were great for our son, however we were very disappointed in how a personal issue was handled. Or rather not handled. While we observed our son’s class, one of the other fathers saw this as an opportunity to take pictures of me and some of the other women with his phone without any of us knowing. My husband could see his phone screen and could see him continue to take multiple pictures. He told me what was happening and we gave him the benefit of the doubt and thought maybe there was a SMALL chance that he was just taking pictures of his child and I just got in the way. But after the second day of this happening, my husband confronted him. He just looked shocked that he had been caught but also didn’t deny it. We then made the female instructor aware of the situation and she assured us that master Yosvany (who was not there at the time) would take care of it. After the next class, Yosvany told my husband that there was no proof that the man had been taking pictures of me and other women even though the studio has cameras and you can clearly see in the video where he was pointing his phone. It is also important to note that he only lifted his phone and took pictures when I would stand up to go talk to my son or go to the bathroom. Yosvany then informed my husband that he would not be taking action against the man who took the photos. He would not even speak to the man about it and also implied that my husband was lying about the situation. When he came home and told me, we made the decision to pull our son from the class because we felt our concerns were not being taken seriously. When I called to let Yosvany know that our son would not be back and to see if we could get a partial refund for the unused classes, he refused to call me back or speak to me when my husband called a few days later to follow up. The whole situation is just infuriating. I hate that I had to pull my son from a class that he loved. But we are not going to bring our child into a place where people are allowed to come into a class full of children and take pictures of women without their consent and not face any consequences. That’s just disgusting.

MYT is one of the best Taekwondo institute. I used to send my kids there but unfortunately we moved to a new place. We tried several other Taekwondo institutes but my kids did not like their coach and the training provided by them. Master Yosvany has been the best Taekwondo coach so far for my kids. He did not teach Taekwondo only, he has also trained my kids to be discipline and live with integrity. Good luck to MYT. 👍🏻
