What a treasure Northaven Co-op has been to our children and our family. The school has amazing teachers who inspire children to explore, create and discover through hands on learning experiences. The bright and large classrooms are filled with sensory tables, manipulatives, art-play tools, and other sensory rich materials that get children involved in problem solving and parallel play.We have enjoyed the unique opportunity of co-oping in our childrens classrooms. It has been incredibly rewarding to get to be involved and know what a typical school day is like through our childrens eyes. Through co-oping, weve also gotten to know the other children and families very well which creates a nice community to be a part of.We feel so fortunate to have found Northaven. My oldest, who is now a first grader, still talks about the Co-op and looks forward to going back every summer for the art camps that are offered. Northaven Co-op is a rare and precious gem of a school. Theres truly nothing else like it.
