INTRODUCTION TO THE FORUM-You may have been invited for an evening to explore the Landmark forum, after a friend, family member, or colleague, completed the 5 day forum introductory course. This course (the Forum) is a foundation for understanding the learning in all future courses. It Covers all areas of development, personal and professional. Once completing this course you can specialize and different subsequent courses that are more tailored to the growth you are want to achieve.THE LANDMARK CURRICULUM -If you decide to participate in the forum, and you arrive with an open mind, and a willingness to be coached, you will begin to surpass many of the obstacles that have held you back in life. You will be a more fulfilled, happy individual. The only way I can describe it, is, you will be at peace with yourself and the world. We are shaped by our life‘s experiences, starting from a very young age, and all our beliefs are related to these experiences. Good or bad. These courses help, in a step-by-step way, to over come past obstacles, and help you achieve your future goals. However, our beliefs and habits weren’t built in a day, and can’t be unchanged in one, thats why continued coursework, is really important. I completed: The forum, advanced course, communications courses 1& 2( my absolute favorite), and the seminar series. Also, team management and leadership, which is definitely worth while for those in leadership roles, although I didnt enjoy it, I got a lot out of it. I didn’t always love all the courses while taking them, but by the end of the course, I realized the outcome of what the coaches were trying to get me to achieve.RESULTS-Some of the results are beyond imaginable, and LIFECHANGING beyond capacity. Hone your positive skills, improve where you are lacking, Improve your relationships, (with yourself and others around you), and Excel in business. By no means is this coursework easy. Its one of the hardest things Ive done in my life, because I CONSISTENTLY resisted change for a long time. The achievements are different for everyone. Some come looking for improvements in leadership and business skills. Others come for changes with interpersonal skills, Relationship issues, self-esteem issues, and a myriad of other problems. There is a beginners course, for all comers, and then you specialize on the track of what is most important to you. The courses are filled with a diverse spectrum of people from CEOs/high-performing business executives, doctors, lawyers, all the way to minimum wage workers and the unemployed. Yet, through the various differences of those attending, everyone learns to find common ground, in the fact that everyone struggles in some area of life. For instance, those who might be excelling in their career, are Struggling with interpersonal relationships, or family life. Those who might be failing in their career, find they are excelling in all aspects of interpersonal relationships.METHODS-Through coaching, seminars, simulations, and group interaction, you become more accountable to tackling the areas of life you are not succeeding in, but would like to. You have team members, and a personal coach. Clearly you can see this would be uncomfortable occasionally, because people by nature don’t resist change. In the times when these scenarios are not easy, you have your peer group supporting you & your coach helping you make a breakthrough. The best way to describe it, is you will get out of it what you put into it.Sale tactics- Of course there are some sales tactics along the way, With recruiting new attendees, which is what some referred in the reviews as “a cult”. Call it what do you like, if you’re not interested you can just say no and you got a free look into course. Reality is your friends and family may invite you to see what it’s like, because they know the results it has given them. The problem is people can’t generalize what results this course will give you, because it’s very individualized. It gives the attendee specifically what they came there for and more.

I originally did this in 1981 and it has continued to make a profound difference in my life ever since. Ive done lots of other programs this leaves them all in the dust!

Some participants will learn new social skills, while others will restore family relationships that were estranged for decades. Sadly, most of the unusual emphasis becomes especially relevant on the third day when the forum goes 100% into New-Age teaching including Truth Relativism (that there are no absolute truths) and the well crafted arguments that life has no meaning and people are merely machines, (such that choice and change is an illusion). They further explain that people differ from animals only because we possess language. For a professional review of this weekend, find the 2008 article from Karin Badt who finds the event harmless and safe. You may agree with Karin, but I cannot agree because the top priority of this group is to teach these same New-Age ideas to as many young people as possible. ( The courses for children and teens were promoted throughout the event. )

Personally I have not tried the courses and only inquired based on a recommendation.I feel like me giving 3 stars is a bit generous. Again, I have zero experience with the course. This review is based on my interaction with some staff while deciding if I should take the course.I was offered deals on the signup which I appreciated, but felt the generosity was not sincere based on multiple conversations as well as how persistent they were in me signing up. It almost felt like I walked into a dealership with the intention of buying a car and having salesman oversell the product. There were a few more reasons I decided to not register.All-in-all, the experience was not very positive . Again, I did not take any courses and cannot attest to the quality of material.I would probably reconsider taking a course after doing some research.

This is the best coaching I have ever received. I have read many self improvement books and attended sales seminars, but this goes beyond that. Are you ready to choose between the blue pill or the red pill?? The choice is yours.

The Landmark Forum gave me views at blindspots I had no idea existed and a whole new relationship with my own body. Since taking the Forum seven months ago, I have not eaten a single dessert or sugary candy. Im more authentic with myself and others.

I was forced into signing up, I’ve been trying to get refunded for a while and no response. I need a full refund since I never attended this course.

I attended an information session this week and am still recovering from the emotional manipulation and creepiness.Marcia Rudin of the International Cult Education Program defines a cult as a group that, one, uses coercive pressure and deception to get people to join in and, two, uses mind-manipulation techniques without the consent or knowledge of the participant. My leader pressured us to be extremely vulnerable. It was a large room, but the four of us in the session were seated shoulder to shoulder in chairs five feet from the speaker, while 25 feet behind us a volunteer sat behind us and listened to us discuss our life struggles. When I shared something personal that made me cry, the leader encouraged me to repeat it for the group. I felt that her intent was to trick me into believing that the Landmark Forum will be the answer to all my problems.A volunteer followed me after I left the room, trying again to get me to sign up. For a moment I was afraid that he was going to try to prevent me from leaving. Fifty percent of the three hours I spent there was spent trying to upsell us.For more information, google Landmark Forum review. I wish Id done more research before attending even a free event and read the articles about Landmark in GQ, Elle, and Mother Jones.

I participated in the Landmark Forum in 2001 and I experienced true transformation. I have used the technology learned there all the days since and I believe this way of being has lead to a fulfilling, intentional and purposeful life.If you believe in possibility, this is the place for you.

LANDMARK FORUM Review ...We all learn about math, language, science (chemistry, physics, biology, etc.) - and religious stories, ideas, & customs (comb your hair, sit up straight, bow your head, pass the plate...) just by copying people around us (monkey see, monkey do) - yet NOBODY teaches us how we experience life (right now) and/or why we make our experiences MEAN something (gee, that felt great, but everyone says its a sin). Landmark Education gave me a chance to see how Ive allowed the ideas of MANY well-intentioned people to shape everything I experience - so now, instead of just reacting (woe, woe is me), I can determine HOW I want to feel and make that HAPPEN by simply applying some basic information from Landmark Education - what a difference! A tiny set of linguistic tools now allows me to choose what I want ... and then, instead of hoping it works, I know how to work with other people to make SURE it happens - big diff - HUGE !! The Landmark Forum was an eye-opening, life-affirming, and VERY educational experience that gave me some basic linguistic tools & skills I can use to make sure I contribute to everyone around me and then, just in the process of life, itself, get what Ive always wanted - all along ... who knew?- signed - Jay Belford - retired architect, city planner, const. cost estimator, insurance adjuster, and now ... Dragon Slayer.
