Amazing experience learning pdr. The training is very organized and staffs are very friendly and professional. Starting day one, we had hands on experience and one on one training when needed. Signed up for four weeks. I completed two weeks and will be back for two more weeks in few months after working on my own.

My experience with The Ding King institute was fantastic, if you want to achieve a higher level of education in the automotive world this is your place to go! James and the other teaching staff set me up with a great foundation that’s needed in PDR and auto reconditioning, if you plan to go this route this is the school for you!

All I can say is that Ding King has exceeded my expectations these guys are great I started in CA with James got me started and showed me everything in the beginning and then went to SC with Chase who is awesome also with everything he does! I just finished up two fantastic weeks training in PDR at the Ding King. I am beyond impressed with the facility and staff. Did a 2 week course at ding king. I didnt think I would be able to be successful after 2 weeks of training... Im surprised how much I was able to learn in the 2 weeks. The instructors are very hands on. 2 weeks of 99% hands on training. No wasted time. I wish I could spend more time training. I could only imagine what else I could learn. The Ding King worked with me around the schedule of my family and work. I went three separate occasions to two different facilities.I bought a five week program to learn the basics of PDR. I felt like after the first week I had the perfect amount of knowledge to go home and train as much as possible before my next session.If you think a week of training or five weeks of training will make you good at PDR, you are wrong. Your own persistence and dedication to practicing makes you a good tech. The school teaches you basics, and after they see you can preform them, they move you on to the next progression.I felt that anytime I needed direction, I could ask and be directed accordingly. James, Sal, and Lee all gave me challenges that I wanted to meet. Every instructor was very helpful and knowledgeable to any questions I had. In and out of class. If you have an instructor on the phone or texting, it’s most likely because a student has reached out and they are responding.I feel the tool package covers at least one tool for each scenario a beginner will have to deal with. Everyone is different to tool preferences, but I think the rods they give you are a quality product.I am very pleased with where my training developed my skill level to. I would strongly recommend going with a good work ethic. If you want to BS through class or think this is magically going to make you a good PDR tech, PDR is not for you.Thanks to James, Sal, Lee, Cher, and Todd for all the help I received.

Great instructors, tons of knowledge and very helpful through the whole learning process. Not like normal teachers, they are more like best friends that are helpinging you learn something new... fun environment to work and learn in.

Did 4 weeks of training total, did them 2 weeks at a time, first time I went in with 0 experience in paint-less dent repair learned a lot, it was difficult the first few days but they do a great job training you, when I left after the first two weeks I was confident doing smaller dents and I knew what I needed to do to fix a dent, but paint-less dent repair is tedious and I had a lot of practicing to do but they gave me the knowledge to do it. A few months later I went back for another two weeks, at this point I was confident pushing most dents, but on the larger dents I would struggle and they wouldn’t turn out as good as I was hoping they would, for these two weeks I got a lot of help with larger dents with high crowns, was able to finish the bigger dents to about 95% which is a lot better then what I was doing before. I was also able to talk to them about the business side of things and other ways to increase profits and I learned a lot from them again in these two weeks, if your considering learning pdr or taking any of there other courses I would highly recommend they are very helpful.

Things went great there, my instructors were Sal and James, they help a lot, they will answer any questions you need, if you have a question ASK or you wont get the answer. Good school, good career, GET DOWN TO BUSINESS! Edit: Dont forget Reece, he was helpful too!!

Wow PDR turned out to be a lot tougher than expected but the professionals at the Ding King made my experience great and left me with the basics of PDR. PDR is a career that takes many years to master but after spending a month at their training facility I can say I know enough to push dents on my own. The staff (James, Sal and Reese) were very helpful throughout the whole month and were always available for questions and help. The training is very hands on and my brother and I appreciated that about the school. We would recommend Ding King to whoever is interested in PDR training.

This place is amazing. Especially for anybody wanting to use the G.I. Bill. Sign-up process was made so easy by Michelle and Cher. Chase Clark is as good of a teacher as anyone could ask for. He is extremely good at what he does and he understands people and how to get through to them. And, the course is only the beginning. The Ding King Training Institute is beyond words can describe in the amount of actual hands on training and instruction that you recieve. Hands down, the BEST school Ive ever been to in my life. I used my Post 9/11 G I Bill and to anyone considering a PDR training institute dont be fooled by the cheap schools bypass all that and just come to Ding King. I have to say the atmosphere in the course is awesome everyone that Ive had the pleasure of meeting is super nice. I really like the fact that when your in the class you are welcomed into the Ding King Family. And words cannot describe the owner and the other staff in the facility are always available to help with any issue you may have. Word of advice to anyone wanting to come, bring a good attitude and the ability to learn and you will be fine. With that being said PDR in my opinion is the most aggravatingly satisfying thing Ive ever done but it has been well worth it in my progression into the industry.

As a Veteran I used my GI Bill to complete the PDR Program at Ding King. As some of you know, the V.A. isn’t the friendliest/user friendly when submitting your docs. The staff at Ding King have been more than helpful with streamlining that process. Further, the knowledge and skill I’ve developed from their instruction has been exceptional. The Instructors take their time to break down the lowest denominator until you fully comprehend. I feel absolutely grateful I came across this program and even more such a high caliber cadre of instructors.

Just finished my 10 day course (80 hours) and I am incredibly satisfied with my experience. I did a lot of research before deciding on The Dent King institute. I searched the web for hours, I asked hundreds of people through pdr forums on Facebook and I called multiple schools and people that do pdr training and The Dent King was by far the most referred. They also had some excellent reviews from former students. I was still skeptical being there is quite an investment in general to learn PDR. I called and talked to the top 3 schools/trainers in my area. Five minutes into talking to these two different schools my mind was set on something else. So I emailed The Ding King on a Saturday. Blake from the Costa Mesa Ding king facility was by far the friendliest most helpful customer service rep, he sent me a catalog and kind of gave me the scoop of each course. Plus he called me on the weekend like 5 minutes after I emailed for details, which was super awesome because I work all week and it’s tough to talk during work hours. After talking to Blake back n fourth for about 2 weeks I pulled the trigger on the 10 day course. James Ramirez and Sal were my instructors and they are awesome techs and super down to earth guys which make learning easy. With their help you’ll be pushing dents in no time! Todd was also very helpful in the business part of PDR he’s got some solid advice on advertising and the do’s and don’t. I learned a lot in 10 days and I will definitely be back since there is so much to learn. If you want to learn PDR the right way go to The Ding King you definitely won’t regret it. The staff is great and knowledgeable and put a ton of work into helping me lay down a solid foundation for my PDR career. I’m also going to do the paint correction and Ceramic course through them. I’ll make another review after I do that.

I have learned a lot of techniques to repair deforms . I also learn how to fix deforms with glue . The trainers was very informative and the top of there skill. They had a lot of pointers on how to go about a deform. They instilled in you to make the repairs perfect. I would recommend this school for anybody wanting to learn how to repair deforms on painted autos.

I had no knowledge in PDR but wanted to get into it. I came down to training with Lee Roth and just finished up my training. I feel very confident in the knowledge and hands on training I got while being here to work on vehicles on my own. Top notch assistance.

I found out through this school how hard it is to repair dings especially if you have not worked with repairing dings.This school was presented to me by my brother and never knew there was such school. Very fortunate to get this training at Ding King School.With lots of practice and knowledge I gained from the instructors I can further my Dent repairs skills.What I liked about school was the friendly atmosphere and hands on training. They had the best tools available and was instructed on a one on one basis and that’s a big plus. The tools are state of the art plus you go home with your on tools .Videos, book work instructions were excellent.Plus don’t forget lunch was provided at least one day along with donuts.Got to meet the main Ding king master Doug gave us a lot of tips and made us feel we can do this kind of work.Loved the school recommend to anyone..I hope to further my training with the Ding king school.

I talked to Mike for about a year, slowly saving up money to enroll and asking questions along the way. Finally I made the decision in November to enroll in the DK Training 4 week course. I couldn’t be happier with my decision. There are many other “schools” or independent techs out there that claim to teach PDR but don’t provide certifications like The Ding King does. There is nothing that could compare to the professionalism, knowledge and friendliness of all of these instructors James, Sal and Lee combined. Cher also helped me get an understanding of the extra tools they have to offer and helped me choose the ones that best fit my needs and budget. This school is 5 star no doubt, what you see is what you get. All of there tools, facilities and techs are top notch and I got to see exactly what I was getting into just by watching there YouTube videos. I highly recommend this accredited training institute! Super glad I came to the Ding King. They do offer the post 9/11 so it is great for veterans. The instructors were very knowledgeable and personal. I never felt like I was just another number. I will definitely be back for more training in the near future.

I spend 5 week on training on this 5 week I get training on PDR, wheels repair and interior repair and for be honest was amazing 5 week good technicians with good experience and good actitudes for get all this good knowledge. The staff in general help you on you development and making everything be possible getting tools and other stuff like set up hotel and transportation. The school is clean and prepared for teach you with tools and equipment. I recommend the school And I appreciate this school support veterans and give us other opportunity to shine.

I came to Ding King with no previous PDR experience. The amount of information I learned in two weeks has given my a good foundation to build my skills. The instructors definately know the trade very well and they are good at teaching their craft to students of all skill levels. I have nothing but great things to say about ding king,the 2 week coarse put me in the place I was hoping to be at after 2 weeks am I a dent master? No! but that is something that comes with your own constant practice however I can successfully fix small dents,crease’s and other related type damage to vehicle sheet metal. Todd really seams like a great person very respectable and helpful in any way he can.James and Sal the instructors were very helpful and knowledgeable about PDR I would recommend this coarse to anyone that wants to put in the effort to accomplish this skill,I’m very pleased

Attended 5 weeks of training at The Ding King and couldn’t be happier. The training was better than I could ask for, tools were excellent, and the instructors were true experts. Lot of people think you can only learn PDR by apprenticing under a PDR tech, they’re wrong, if you want to learn PDR come to the Ding King!

I came to The Ding King to recieve training in PDR and was blown away. The facility and teaching exceeded my expectations and would highly recommend to anyone looking to get into PDR or any other programs they offer. Top shelf! These guys made it fun. Had the chance to spend 2 weeks to train with these awesome and knowledgeable trainers. Understanding specific dents and how to work through them is a must. Working with all types of tools made me understand what I need to get started. Facility has all the amenities that students will need. Coming in I had no prior PDR training, and now leaving I feel very confident I will be able to do the job when I return home, and I’m regretting not staying for the 2 week class! He was able to answer any questions we had, help us locate what needed the most work, PLUS he’s a local guy who knows the area and was able to help us get around before/after class. I look forward to coming back for more training with Tom in the future!

The Ding King is a great company to go to school or work for. They are very compassionate and caring and do all the they can to help you in any way they can. they have previously trained me but I have problems with my eyes and was not able to perform the work at a level I would be happy with. but as soon as I was able to get my eye situation corrected they invited me back at no charge to rehone my skills. Thanks you Ding King in My opinion they are the best company on the face of this planet.Sincerely Roy Norris

Last year I looked for a company that taught PDR. I did a lot of research and The Ding King came up. I looked into it and after calling a few times I was convinced theyd be the ones to teach me. I rented a car, I booked a good hotel for my family and I with my own money and drove 11 hours. I was excited to learn something new to expand my business. I was told that I would go home knowing everything. Well I didnt. The training was not what I expected. 3 days we worked on the hail damage on a hood and the other two days on a fender and door. The last day was just rushed to get it over with. Keep in mind that the classes are full, so not a lot of time is dedicated to one person. You are pretty much learning how to do it on your own and if you dont get it, well too bad. When I went back home, I reached out to the owner of the ding king. Although he was helpful by giving me another free week in Dallas, Tx ( I had to again rent my own car to drive there and pay for my hotel) it just went worse. The trainer that was supposedly the best in that didnt teach anything, all he cared about was going out for drinks after training. I ended up booking the hotel that the trainers were in and had to give them rides because they didnt have cars. I didnt learn anything because again they didnt really care to teach and they actually had me helping out with the new people. It was horrible, everyone was mad and complaining that they didnt learn anything and had spent money on it. I again went back home not knowing anything. I called the owner to complain and after a few emails back and forth we came to an agreement that I would get my money back if I returned the tools. Too bad he didnt return the hotel and rental money, with the service I received that would have been the least he could do. So my point is that its not worth it. Dont do it! Everything sounds so convincing until you get there and leave clueless.

Ive done a lot of work with the Ding King. The guys over there definitely know what theyre doing. They fixed numerous dents on my cars over the years in trade for my marketing services. They are good people.

Amazing school, I learned so much! The teachers were amazing and patient. I would recommend to anyone who wants to make a great career for themselves.

Well was never in this field and it was presented to me and so i took the challenge to learn a new trade. I was shown and learned a lot on the hands on training, lots of practicing to get comfortable with tools and locations of the dents. I feel confident on going out in the real world and pursue this new trade and make money.

The PDR training I received gave me the basic skills I need to continue developing what it takes to become successful in PDR. The instructors were hands on every step of the way. I recommend any individual, young or old within the auto industry to consider this 2 weeks course. Its worth the cost that includes your tools.

I received exceptional and professional training at the Ding King Training school in Long Island, NY. I was happy to have gotten trained by an expert like Tom. Hes very thorough and knowledgeable about what he is doing. I would recommend any one who needs the right training to the Ding King. Great place wonderful people!!!

Spent a very educational 4 weeks at the SC campus enjoyed the experience and the Ding King staff. They were all so very helpful. Chase is a very talented instructor with lots of passion for this craft. Thanks for the experience.

The PDR training I received was excellent in my view. The instructor Carson was patient, encouraging and reassuring when pushing the dents got rough and frustrating. I I went from NEVER having auto training to being able to push out dents by day 1, and was pushing out dents on all panels of the car all the rest of the week.I was in the same class as Michael Gonzalez who rated the Ding King with a 1 star. Miguel, I have to say that you are an incredible clown to rate Ding King with a 1 star. You fooled around on your cell phone all week long distracting us and the instructor. You refused to participate in the training as taught, and then you then left early. Then you tried to scam the instructor into returning the tools because you bought cheaper tools elsewhere...And if the training was so bad, why did you take the Certificate of Completion for the course in your name?I was going to ignore your rating post, but you are unbelievably dishonest and deserve to be rebuked online.

Awesome experience, learned more in two weeks than I expected to. The staff was great and were extremely helpful the whole time.

I had a great experience here and Lee is an awesome teacher. If you are thinking about taking PDR courses, I definitely recommend this place!
