My girl finished her high school education and got a high school diploma, not a GED. I think that is just awesome.Now she is taking college courses online and on site. 2-year course cant wait till she graduates.

I had a nice experience with my student, Tina T. and her professor, Ms. McCray. They worked well together and both really enjoy doing hair and working with patrons!Being that I have extremely curly I felt that needed to bring pictures of styles that I liked. They worked on the best style for me. Then went into full detail of what my cut entailed, taking off length in the back. I appreciated that they cared this much to make sure that I was ready for such a change.I’ve only had 4 great haircuts in my entire life and this is definitely one of them!!! I’m thrilled with the outcome and impressed with the skill that both have. Tina will truly be an excellent stylist by the time she graduates!! And, Ms. McCray is an asset to the salon!Additionally, the atmosphere is just like a salon with laughter, different amenities going on at once and just has a fun vibe! I will definitely go back again to get my hair done and to try other services.

Hi my name is Erica Shoemaker. I came across your campus a while back when a friend of mine took classes here. At the time I couldnt do anything because of the Fin Aid in my past holding me back. I than came to a point in my life that I needed to do something with my life for me and my family. I wasnt happy were I was at with my job it was bad and my wife has a disease that one day will kill her. (it is called Crohns) So I decided to call and make a appointment. Let me tell you Im so Happy that I did because Heather Colbert was the one who got me and got me ready to take this adventure. I dont regret not one thing I do in my life. I am so blessed to be here. Heather has been there for me no matter what if it had to do with being upset with my job to something not right with my class you name it she was there for me and still am. It doesnt matter if I e-mail her or come to her on campus she has always had a smile and so excited to see me and ask me how I am doing and how are your classes going is there anything I can do. Even if it is to cry to her about my problems Heather never turned her back on me. It takes a lot for me to get attached to someone or like someone but when you want that person to succeed (like she does for me) you ask you get involved with your students. You guys have a wonderful person and I hope you never lose her because she is a GREAT access to this college. I get excited for coming to college and learning things. Heather is one person I love to see when I come here even if it is to just say Hi and go about my business. Well that is a nut shell for you. I’ve never personally attended this school, but it’s my understanding that some of their programs aren’t truly accredited, which would make obtaining needed credentials after school difficult. My sister transferred from this school to another, and her financial aid was canceled, due to the fact that Miller-Motte refuses to release her transcript with debt owed to the school. In fairness, I understand that the school needs to make a profit, but it does seem that they could work with students in a reasonable manner to help them to achieve higher education goals. Also, from my understanding, a large part of her decision to transfer is that she discovered that the program that she was attending at this school did not meet state requirements for appropriate credentialing following graduation. I’ve heard of people having good experiences with Miller-Motte, but do your research for the specific program that you’re studying so that you can avoid problems later.

Every one on the staff are there to help you succeed. The classes are a lot of work but the good things in life come from hard work. The admission process is easy and the admissions staff are amazing. This school is designed to get you a degree fast. You will get out what you put into it. You walk out with a degree and the knowledge to get a job in your field. They will help you find a job in your field. I have not met a single person on the staff that was not fully qualified to teach. They are experts in their field. they have multiple degrees. What I like is that much of it is work at your own pace within the 5 week class, so I can fit my job and life around my school. I can also work on school at any location, because they give you a computer and free WiFi hotspot to use anywhere. I have done school work driving down the road going to vacation. I have done school work while I was evacuated for a hurricane . If you are not succeeding then it is your own fault. If you do the work, make an effort and stay connected to the school they staff will bend over backwards to help you get to graduation.

This school is a waste of time and a scam, I have spent the last 8 months working my butt off. When you first sign up everything is so exciting and you just feel like your on top of the world. False. This school has charged me triple the amount for my tuition.I told them that I was transferring schools and now that I am no one wants to help me anymore? You get different answers for the same question from everyone. Oh and guess what if you want to transfer schools kiss all of those hard earned credits goodbye. I have to start all over as a freshman now because I can not use my own paid for credits. They can kiss it. They want me to pay money for leaving but for what? I got absolutely nothing out of that school no credits no nothing! Total rip off please stay away from this school. I am praying for the day they get SHUTDOWN. GO TO HGTC OR COASTAL...MILLER MOTTE IS A SCAM.

This place was nightmare from day one for me and my daughter who enrolled in cosmetology. Finally was able to get her transferred to another school in area but they made it as hard as possible on us. Watch out

I just recently graduated in Massage Therapy and it has been a enjoyable experience. While true that sometimes life will test your patience, Strength and character up to the point of giving up but thanks to my teachers Ms Moretz, Ms Barney, Mr Kempton and Ms Macubbin they just didn’t help me but went above and beyond to help me get through on those difficult times. From the teaching staff, admin and rank and file I would like to say Thank You because if not for your mentorship and dedication I wouldn’t be able to finish it. I really enjoy the experience and hopefully when schedule allows I’m thinking to pursue another career... fingers cross.. Thank you very much.

I dont want to even give them a 1 star. I dont know why this school isnt shut down they are crooks. Im paying for my education Im not getting taught what Im supposed to be getting taught. No teachers half the time. They are screwing our hours up for cosmatology, not putting in our gradeds right. They charged me for room and board for what I dont stay their... Also charging me 6 times for tuition.. Im fed up with this place I even called the news and still nothing Sick of it... Then I called state to let them know about not having teachers.. State comes in 2 days later. We were still missing a teacher but they covered it up to make it look like she was on her lunch break and they still passed. Class action law suit. Crooks crooks crooks... Thanks miller motte...for raping me ......

When I first moved to SC, I decided to go to school. Miller-Motte was so inviting and offered a variety of options. So I applied and got accepted in the Medical Assisting program. When I first began, I was told this school was accredited and credits could be transfered. The staff was great and I enjoyed the experience. I did have some issues with financial aid throughout the course, but they were resolved. Towards the end of my program, I was told that all 72 of my credits that I paid 18,000 + for will not transfer. This school is very misleading and it is a SCAM. I would not recommend for any one to go here. After I graduated, they even called me wondering why I havent signed up to further my education. When I told them I planned on going to Coastal, they quickly hung up and not once called back. I posted on their Facebook page and there were many others who were also mislead and robbed by this school. The quickly deleted the post and blocked me from posting anything else on the page. Please save your time, money and frustration. Go to HGTC
