I’ve taken my Private and Instrument written tests here and had a good experience both times! The people here are friendly and made conversation before I took the test and it helped relieve some stress actually. I don’t remember her name, but the girl working there is nice and has a fun sense of humor. I’ll be taking more tests here in the future!

Scheduled to take my 107 test at Lone Star. The testing center was very clean with ample room and a great atmosphere. The Proctor was also great! Very knowledgeable and friendly making it an anxiety free test environment. I highly recommend this facility, and will be using Lone Star exclusively for other employees that will be obtaining their 107 certification.-Tyler

I had a good experience here for an FAA written. There was a kind, family atmosphere that was helpful in reducing anxiety before the exam. Everything was explained well and they were as accommodating as could be. If you’re a fly-in customer, like I was, there are tie-downs for your airplane right at the building.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Took my UAG test in the room provided which was very neat and clean. Everything that I needed was provided for me. 10/10 will take all future certifications at this location!

My pregnant wife wanted to surprise me with the Discover Flight for $99 because I’m a veteran and was airborne. I thought it would have been a great surprise until what Lonestar Flight School in Conroe, TX did to my pregnant wife. They treated her very badly and stole her credit card information online. When purchasing anything online, if it is declined, it will not process. However, when you put your card information on the flyinhouston.com website for a fake “check out” payment for your flight, they tell you that you made a purchase, but actually take your credit card information and type it in manually, which is highly illegal. The owner claims he typed in our credit card information twice, but when we called our bank, they said that there was no attempted transactions. My wife called back to understand what happened and to fix it and the hot-headed owner yelled at my pregnant wife and told her that he demands cash in person to book the appointment and she is never allowed to use any card again since it was declined when he typed it in. She explained to him that the bank said the card was never ran so either she typed it in wrong or he did and yet he continued to abuse my pregnant wife by yelling at her and making her cry after all she wanted to do was have a nice surprise gift for my birthday present. I will never allow my hard earned money to go to this terrible business. How dare y’all even claim y’all are a legitimate business!If you’re looking for a professional experience, do not go to Lonestar Flight School in Conroe, TX. I don’t care how many certifications he claims he has or the google review “owner response” claims he has, he is a completely vulgar person and Lonestar Flight School aka flyinhouston.com and Robert Cunningham should not be practicing business!

I just my part 107 test at this location. They were very nice and helpful during the entire visit. They were so nice I stayed after my test for about 30 minutes just visiting with them and learning about their business.

Lone Star, operated by Mary and Robert Cunningham, is top notch. These are wonderful people doing a terrific job helping people achieve their aviation dreams. The helped me knock out my Inspection Authorization this weekend, and I have nothing but praise for their assistance.(Having had this experience with them, all I can suggest about any bad reviews seen here is that perhaps those customers were not applying themselves. You do have to work very hard to attain any aviation ratings and not everyone can do it.)Thank you, Mary and Robert.

Purchased a gift certificate for intro flight for a friend $100. They protect themselves so well that if you cannot make an appointment or get rained out within 3 months of purchase they get to keep the money without refund or credit towards something else. Terrible business practice. Spend money elsewhere where they are willing to work with you.

Instructor Robert Cunningham is very clearly well experienced in this industry and instruction. He will work with you whenever you are available and at your pace. Robert and Mary do a great job at running their facility in complete organization and keeping the hangar and the planes in top shape at all times!

If you like being screwed for money you will love Just Fly. These people originally started in Tomball Texas at Hooks airport. Then moved to Conroe for a fresh start.They have over billed and over billed never getting to the point of the end result of a pilots license. My hours were excessive in over 100 hours so much so after I left and went to another school the FAA examiner looked at my book and said what Just Fly billed was just criminal.There are other students I spoke with after leaving that pulled out because of the over billing. I have spoken to 3 of them.I spoke with 2 other flight instructors in the industry and that is one of the reasons they left Hooks for a clean start and some of their students the same exact thing happened.Yes, my name is not listed as what is designated as I am in the industry for a company and prefer to remain anonymous.My goal is to tell my story and its your choice to do business with them or not. I would give Justfly! Flight school in Conroe Texas 5 gold stars hands down! I became a pilot through their instruction. I felt my training was very thorough and each step properly prepared me to take my exam/check-ride with the FAA examiner. Robert and Mary care so much about their students that you almost become family. Roberts teaching made me confident in the air and helped me to become the safest pilot I could be. Scheduling for lessons is very easy. They are a professionally run business with a mom and pop personal feel. I still continue to rent their airplanes and fly. I highly recommend Justfly!

I love the flight school. I learn so much from my flight instructor, Mr. Cunningham, and I think he is a great instructor. His background in aviation is just amazing and the cost of flight training is not that expensive. Other flight schools are very expensive or just out of order, but JustFly is well ran and the material is easily explained by Mr. Cunningham . JustFly offers the one-on-one time with the student and instructor to help the connection. Other flight schools you just change instructors and loose that connection. I rather have just only one instructor and not multiple ones and JustFly does that perfectly. My discovery flight was amazing and seeing lake livingston was great to look at. The staff at JustFly is great and I would definitely recommend it to anybody living in the conroe/spring area. 5/5
