Artisan is an amazing studio! Its rare to find a place that offers a truly supportive space for adults to dance. There are so many talented instructors and a variety of levels for each style - so you will be able find the level thats right for you. You will either have the opportunity to learn from the very beginning, pick up where you left off 10 years ago, or be physically challenged to push yourself each week. I love the drop-in style and new weekly combos so that you dont have to commit to a weekly class if it doesnt work with your schedule. I work full time and its hard to keep appointments, so I appreciate the flexibility.Jessica is the owner and her classes are my favorite! She is always responsive to questions and is great at breaking down steps to make sure everyone understands. All the classes Ive tried have been quality dance instruction and I love learning something new each time.

Ive been dancing at Artisan for almost 8 years now. I love the classes and that I can keep dancing past high school! Ive performed in several of the Adult Ballet Company shows and in the Adult Showcase performances as well, all of which were very professional and inclusive to all levels of dancers! Over the years, the classes have continued to improve with highly qualified instructors and even more levels for every style of dance offered. The youth program has done the same, even more levels and paths for dancers depending on which styles they like the best, all with highly qualified and kind instructors who care about the well-being of their students. I dont think I will ever love another dance studio as much as I love Artisan and being a part of the community there!

Artisan Dance Studio is my home. It’s my safe space. It has rejuvenated my LOVE for dance. Being there I am my most confident and happy self. Jessica is the best teacher, choreographer, and business woman I have ever met...truly! She took a chance on me over 5 years ago hiring me as the hip hop teacher after just taking a couple of classes at the studio. The energy and inclusive environment makes me want to come take class as often as my schedule allows. Every class I take from her I leave inspired 💜 I honestly have met some of my closest friends from going to classes at the studio. This is hands down the best studio in Columbus, especially if you want to take adult classes. I look forward to many more years of classes and memories I will make!

Artisan Dance Studio to put it simply is my safe/happy space. I found Artisan almost 3 years ago when I was looking for quality adult dance classes in Columbus and boy did I find exactly what I was looking for. Jessica has done an amazing job with creating a community in addition to providing the best dance instruction in Columbus. Every single teacher whether theyre on the permanent staff, substitute, or visiting master teacher is so knowledgable and kind and cares about you not only as a dancer but as a human. The energy in the studio is positive, uplifting and welcoming and because of that I have met some of my closest friends through Artisan. Going to Artisan is the highlight of my week and I tell all my friends (whether theyve been dancing since they were three or have never taken a dance class in their life) to try Artisan, its the best decision youll make!

I cant recommend Artisan Dance enough! I joined this incredible studio just over two years ago. I entered as an adult, first time dancer. Being an adult dancer entering this new environment can feel intimidating, until you actually enter Artisan. The moment I entered I was greeted with warmth and enthusiasm. Jessica made me feel as if I had been a part of the community for years. Every single teacher goes above and beyond to make sure every student feels challenged, but not left behind. You feel supported and safe. It seems to be a theme on these reviews that other students call this place a home and I couldnt agree more. Full discloser: you will become obsessed with dancing here, you make amazing friends, and youll never want to leave... you have been warned ;)

I can’t say enough good things about Artisan! I feel so lucky to have found such a wonderful studio with so so many classes for adults. The quality of teaching is top notch. There are multiple levels of classes, and teachers who really care about their students and take adult students seriously. Dancing is my favorite thing to do and there’s nowhere else I’d rather do it!

The staff and classes at Artisan Dance Studio are truly wonderful. The studio is a welcoming environment to all dancers from absolute beginners through advanced. I’ve been taking classes here since 2013 and have meet some of my best friends within its walls! Artisan offers more styles of dance for adults than any other studio in town. Jessica has created a little oasis of dance for the Clintonville area and we are lucky to have her!

I recently tried an intermediate adult tap class at this dance studio. While it wasnt a good fit for me, and was more advanced than I had anticipated, the instructor reached out to me immediately and explained the situation. They had limited classes due to Covid but are expanding this summer. I do look forward to trying another adult class more on my level in the future and I truly appreciate the communication.

Everything about Artisan Dance is amazing. Jessica is a fantastic owner and teacher. She is fun and extremely knowledgeable. She has high standards for her dancers, especially those on the competition team. I am constantly impressed by the entire course schedule available. She is always looking for amazing guest teachers to join her already top-notch staff. Artisan has classes for all ages and all dancers. There’s really no other place to look for dance classes.

I attended this studio in 8th grade and loved it ❤️ The teachers are very professional and they help you with each step. Everyone is nice here and it is definitely the place to be. Love it!!

My experience with the beginning adult ballet class has been a complete delight. I am very new to ballet but the instructors are so welcoming, patient, fun and kind. I highly recommend this dance studio to anyone. Its so fun, you forget you are exercising!

My daughter has attended dace at Artisan for the last 3 years. Their approach is welcoming and fun for beginners, but they definately teach form and real technique (this isnt just some fluffy company run by amateurs).All of the instructors are very professional and know their art. That stated, they are also very loving, patient, bubbly and impart a real love and passion for dance--which is soaked up by the students.I couldnt be more pleased with the level of instruction and the enthusiasm for movement. My daughter loves her new found art of expression, listens more intently to music and has formed bright, new friendships with the other students.This studio is a perfect meld of veracity/fun and artistic instruction. Your child will not only enjoy their lessons, but they will come away with the technique and guidance to take their dance to the next level.

A year and a half ago I came to an Adult Beginner Ballet class just to try it out... And Ive been hooked on Artisan ever since! Ive learned so much from dancing at this studio and I have now tried a much wider variety of the classes they offer-- everything from tap to a technique class with exercise balls. Ive made so many new friends at Artisan and look forward to continuing to dance here for many more years!

Love this studio. Great instruction. Competition path classes available but not required. Owner is extremely talented, and truly cares about students.

I love that most classes are drop in and you are not required to pay for an extended amount of time. I was afraid that my daughter would not want to commit and I would have to pay for 9 months of dance class. My daughter loves her class and her teacher.I recently was talked into going to one of their adult classes. I will now be taking classes myself.
