My sons Max, Mason and Mikey have all attended here. I think the teachers are very engaged and love to help the students in every way they can. They give 100% to teaching our kids to succeed and develop age appropriately. The Staff from the office to Specials, to the lunch staff and on....they are friendly, caring and respectful. The vision here is to make sure every kid succeeds and they all work together as a team.From K - 5, I have never experienced a bad situation with any teacher or staff. They treat you like family and you always feel like you are apart of the Grant Lions family even after you leave. Mikey has gone back to visit and is always remembered and welcomed. I really love Grant Elementary !! : )

Grant is amazing! All the staff are wonderful! My son had a lot of issues to deal with when we moved here 3 years ago and they made things so much easier. Today he is graduating from elementary and you worked never know he had any problems. We can honestly say we will miss so many of the teachers and staff!

I’m a teacher myself and care for another child part time I have seen that his teacher is not the most engaging teacher in the younger grade. I asked her how his day went and she said fine and wouldn’t tell me anything else after asking a few times, the room has always been dark and I never have seen her yet engage with any of the other parents. I know she has a lot of other children but she doesn’t seem to really care. Sad.

All the teachers are amazing besides really one. The food is pretty good considering for a school and you get so much help and support from most of the teachers! The main reason why I am giving this a four star is because of the music teacher, yea the music teacher. My nephew comes home crying often because of him. He technically makes fun of kids for doing natural things. He tells you how you should discipline your kids which is hitting them which is the best way to him apparently. He doesnt really teach anything resourceful such as actually teaching notes for your future in musical arts is which I struggle on now because of him not teaching such a simple subject. He really doesnt do anything musical at all either. Plays some games and that really is it. He only does concerts for the 2nd and 4th grade students and every year he does dances like what does that have anything to do with music? Its not dance class its music class. Overall the school is great its just the music teacher that really makes the school worse.

This is such a great school! My brother went to this school and now my son does we love it Mr. Block is a gotta have teacher he is so dedicated to his students and goes above and beyond for the kids.

This school is a joke. They have to enter from the back of the building. My child would be on time, but due to the fact we have to find a parking spot and sometimes have to walk a couple of blocks to get to the school by the 8:00 am start time, he is considered late. When we knock on the classroom door, the teacher doesnt answer. Therefore, we are forced to walk around to the other side of the campus, causing my child to be even more late. Once inside, there is a teacher who greets us with a smile and checks him in (this teacher is the only reason im giving a 1 star). But, then they make me sign in at the office i want to walk my child to class. Ill only be in the building for 30 seconds. I understand its all for safety purposes, but they treat everyone like theyre a bad guy. My advice, take your child to a different school.

This school is the best school. The teachers are so nice. They may be a little harsh at times but this school is the best!!!❤❤❤

Love the school, teachers and staff. Their PTA is amazing.
