The cove is a cool place to cool off and kick back with friends. The facility was clean, the staff was friendly, and the food was pretty good. They have bean bag chairs for lounging or you can reserve a bungalow with plunge pool, or a shaded cabana. My problem was with the music, bottle service, and shots. The music was terrible as other people have mentioned in their reviews. It was like a retirement party play list with a hit song mixed in here and there. My friend ordered shots of Hennessy but when the shots came they didnt look nor taste right. It was to light to be Hennessy and looked more like apple juice.We ordered two bottles for our group Tittos and Malibu, I drink Tittos ALL the time but what whatever they served us WAS NOT Tittos. I had 3 mixed drinks with Tittos throughout the day and then 1 shot of Tittos 5shortly before we got ready to leave, as soon as I took that shot I knew that I was not drinking Tittos! So we take the hour and half drive back to Houston and I felt fine about 30 minutes after getting home I just got sick and started vomiting. I have never in my life been sick like that from drink Tittos and I normally wouldve had more than 3 drinks. !!BEWARE OF THE LIQUOR HERE!!

Rented a bungalow and had fun. My waitress Nadine was AWESOME! The drinks were AMAZING not over priced and definitely not watered down. Truffle fries were my favorite off the menu. Kitchen staff needs to step their game up..our food was cold due to lack of communication. 🤷🏾‍♀️ Overall though had a blast and definitely will be back

I came here to celebrate and have fun with my friends and instead I was met with some incredibly rude staff (vibe protectors.) I rented out a section and my group collectively spent about $700 in total for my 23rd birthday. While we were waiting for our food I was cut off because I was taking off my makeup as one does when it’s humid and hot outside. As I was wiping it off so I didn’t look two toned, the worker came up to me and said I couldn’t have anymore to drink. We hadn’t been there that long and although yes I was drinking, no one in my group was going crazy. If I was actually drunk, I wouldn’t be upset. But I paid almost $700 and they cut me off for no real reason. I am sitting here right now writing this review a few days later because it is still very upsetting to me. Additionally, our food took forever to come because they originally gave it to the wrong table. So because they had to remake it and we had to wait twice as long, I do not see how I am at fault. However, our waitress was phenomenal and the cove is an overall fun place to be at. Even with having paid so much money, the vibe protectors still ruined a good time. So I would hate to see how they treat customers not spending so much money.

The Cove has a great atmosphere and vibe! They offer wakeboarding and surfing on a stationary wave machine and they’re both super dope for beginners or experienced riders

This place is the best. Great drinks, great food, great employees, great atmosphere. Only thing that could make it better is cheaper drinks but they honestly werent any more expensive than I expected. I recommend going on a weekday when its a bit less crowded

Came here for a Sunday funday with my family. Vibes are great, prices are reasonable but the music SUCKS. We tried asking multiple staff members for a station change and nothing. For being a place that’s 18+ ONLY, you would think they would have some decent music but nope. Disappointing for a place that has such great potential. Won’t be back anytime soon.

I was asked to visit this establishment by a relative because they liked it and thought that I would also. I decided to go on Friday, June 2nd to meet her and some more relatives there. Before we left the cashier area to go outside to the water area, another relative and I thought about our phones. The cashier mentioned to us about some phone cases that people used while they were in the water to protect their phones and how well they worked, so we all purchased one. We proceeded to put our devices in the cases before entering the wet area. While going around the lazy river(which was awesome by the way) we took several pictures and I decided that I wanted to take pictures with my phone. As I pulled the lanyard up and the phone case out of the water, it was filled with Water!!! I spoke with several workers that night about the case and how my phone was drowned in water. They told me that there was not a manager on site that night and for me to call back on Monday during the day time. I called two times during the day and once at night to speak with a manager, leaving message after message. I was asked to cone out again on another Friday night but this time I decided not to get in and I also brought the past issue up again to the workers that were there. Calling again after the last visit, I was still met with the same response of,Ill take your number and leave a message for a member of management to contact you about this situation. Here it is now, August 9th, and I just received a call last night from someone at The Cove. Their response was We could not find or get in contact with the manufacturer and theres nothing we can do! With that being said she stated how she hoped that I had my phone situation taken care of by now. I explained how I had to borrow an old phone from a friend to have a means of communication. She went on to say ending the conversation with, Well we hope to see you again on your next visit to The Cove. Have a nice day. This did not solve any problems and was a waste of a phone call after waiting over a month for their response that didnt help out any situation. I just couldnt understand how they cant find a manufacturer of an item that they sale. If this is the way that the facility will continue to handle business, I would not recommend visiting this establishment. I was not at all pleased with the time frame of their response, neither the actions they took to resolve the issue. Truly a bad experience.

It’s okay. We purchased a bungalow, a bottle, food and drinks. We had to ask the security to grab our server every time we needed something. Maybe because gratuity is automatically included onto the bill. The vibe was okay but extreme slow/lame. The music needs a HUGE upgrade. You can certainly still play “good vibes” music and still be on trend. Even with non explicit being a requirement. The venue was very lacking. Music can sometimes make or break a venue. If you were to still stay up to date with your music I think it would have been a hit! It’s meant to be a trendy place, or I thought. Three out of the five bungalows left early the day we went because the music was so out of date and sleepy. Went inside for assistance. Everyone was on their phone and seemed annoyed to help. The servers gave us major attitude towards the end of our visit. Like they were annoyed with anything we needed at our bungalow. So disappointed honestly.

Enjoy coming here to cool off on a hot day, however drinks and food are pretty pricey.

First time at the Cove. It was alot of fun! Very clean environment and the service staff was courteous and outstanding. Given its location I was a little hesitant because of my age, but I felt very welcome from the get-go and met alot of random new people. The wave pool was pretty rad and most of my time was spent floating the lazy river. Great vibe and great food. Joe is the main kitchen guy I met and he loves his job and he was as welcoming as anyone there. Do yourself a favor and hit it this summer! Youll be glad you did.

Nice place, but the rules are wack! Huge vibe control. For a place that’s 18+ they sure regulate like they’re accommodating children. If you have to go to your car you have to be escorted by one of their team members… like whattt? AND you can’t leave the facility and return. You’re forced to use their restrooms, which has been previously discussed in other reviews. I expressed that I didn’t like this rule and the GM told one of my party crew members that it’s typically black people who don’t like that rule………. Like what?! Why does it evennnn have to be about race? I’m sure there’s a lot of people who doesn’t like that rule but blacks were singled out for what, I will never know.

Love this place. This is the closest thing to a Vegas style dayclub when the DJ is there on Sundays. It is, however, much more laid-back and chill (great in its own way!). Their drinks and rentals are very reasonably priced. Great place to celebrate a special event! Cant wait until they open back up next season.

Mr and my friends have had an awesome experience everytime we go. Sundays by far are the best because they have this DJ named catnip or something like that. But he definitely sets the vibe and recharges you to take on the week. Would definitely go there more if he played more than just one day a week.

The Cove is such a fantastic place to relax and be with friends. The prices are reasonable and the drinks are good. Tyler, the GM, is such a servant-leader and it is apparent how well The Cove is ran. If you are underage and try to sneak drinks, the rest of us will giggle as you get escorted out of the lazy river by the top notch Vibe Protectors or the uninformed cops. Dont even try. I experienced some charges that I didn’t authorized by me. I reached out to The Cove to get an explanation on why I have them. Taylor and Tyler contacted me in such a timely manner and ensured they would get down to investigating. They quickly found where things went wrong through the system and assured me they would get everything back to normal! The way they handled my situation was amazing and I felt very confident in getting things taken care of. I used to live in the barracks freshman year and came here a few times but never really thought it was all that great.went back for the first time since they finished the remodel though and this place is crazy awesome now. Seems like theyve been at max capacity for the past few weekends so if you head out make sure you get there early

The GM is a man of his word, keeping me in the loop on a situation. Spoke to him today and he was polite, mannered and helped me ALOT! Gave me more details about my situation than the PD.

After announcing on Instagram that their employees tested positive for COVID-19 but theyd be opening anyways after ONLY ONE DAY OF CLOSING, I commented Yall opened too early. Stay closed and take care of your employees, and they blocked me! Ive spent a lot of money here (on entrance fees despite being a teacher, on overpriced drinks, etc.), so for them to block me for my concern for their employees (some of whom I love), seems very childish. Closing for one day during rising cases in TX is not enough. They obviously care about profit more than their employees and customers.

This is definitely a great place to hangout, but as of lately, the Cove has been getting a little trashy. I would suggest increasing the price of the day pass.

By far the best aquatic entertainment location in College Station. The lazy river was perfect for relaxing, the Wave machine was a grand time, and the swim up bar had everything you could ever imagine. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very down to earth people who seemed to enjoy making your experience the best it could be. Cannot wait until it is entirely finished. With all of the new things they have planned, it is going to deserve a few more stars.

Love getting to come out to BearX no matter what. Whether I want a chill day in the pool or going out to wakeboard or surf. Its a good place for any mood.

Great getaway. Major flaw: only one female bathroom with 2 stalls. Particularly annoying as there are 2 male bathrooms. The line to go to the restroom is ridiculous (up to 7 people squeezed inside and overflow to the outside) and I had to watch someone puke in the sink while waiting to go to the restroom...and then wash my hands in said sink. Gross. Obviously this was designed and engineered by a man. Suggest changing one of the male bathrooms into a female bathroom.

I spent the afternoon at The Cove with a few friends and we all had the time of our lives. The Cove has so many fun amenities like a Lazy River, wave rider, spike ball, tether ball, cornhole, ladder toss, and so much more. There are also hot tubs, swim-up bars, and plenty of chairs/couches with shade.On top of that, the customer service is INCREDIBLE. The owner, Heath, personally greeted us and checked in with us throughout our stay. He really knows how to serve and interact with the customers and he is what made our trip so much fun.Crazy fun experience and special shout out to my man Heath.

Ive been to the Cove twice this summer and twice Ive had problems with the bar. The first time, the bartender took my money and order and I watched as she took 5 other orders and served them their drinks (a good 15 min wait). It wasnt until another bartender asked if i wanted another drink that I was finally able to get my 1st. When i told the intial bartender that her co worker made my drink instead, she was unapologetic and honestly quite rude.The second time, it was memorial day and i 100% understood that it was busy and that i would have to wait. But it was the evening and wasnt as packed as the daytime. I had literally waited 20 min just to order and I had waited another 15 with still no drink. My friend ended up swimming to the back bar and ordered my drink from someone else and SHE STILL HAD NOT MADE MY DRINK. A total of 45 min waiting for one drink. Im a bartender as well and understand being swamped but this was crazy! Very frustrating waiting for so long and seeing most of the staff work so slowly. They had absolutely no hustle or drive to serve their customers.Fun environment but gets ruined by the bar staff with their poor bartending skills and attitude.

Contains: Large lazy river (moves pretty steadily), surf machine that you can pay extra to use (not allowed to order drinks if you surf), giant pong trash can game, spikeball, ladder ball, giant bean bags to lay on, astroturf around the entire facility, tanning chairs in shallow water, private mini pool areas to rent with large tvs, etc...Nice people at the front gate. Very kind bouncers. Great drinks at the swim up bar. Able to buy drinks using chip inside membership wristband.One complaint: They refused to serve me drinks because the stamps I was given did not have enough ink. Other than this one mishap, this is a place kept up well. The pool, bathrooms, and trash collection is maintained to a high degree. The theme, music, and atmosphere takes you to paradise. Very well done. I look forward to many more days floating around, and seeing what opens up next.Its a yes from me.

They miscommunicate what you are being charged for especially when it comes to your credit card and when you try and correct the wrongfully added charges, you are thrown through a loop and nothing actually gets fixed. Poor management skills. Pay with cash when you go.
