Amazing! We had an incredible time learning to surf! I didn’t think it was possible for our kids to learn it in that short of a time, but Joe was an incredible, patient, fun teacher and 2 of our kids were up on their first attempt. We rented some chairs and a canopy for the day. Excellent choice. It’s a beautiful location with soft sand, even out in chest deep water. What a great day! Don’t hesitate. Just do it!

The surf class was beyond AWESOME!!. 2 hours of amazing instruction with Jake and Eddie. You will be surfing in no time with their great instructions. Jake is so experienced and excellent at teaching! His positive attitude and love for surf was all we needed to get the groove! Kids were not in the mood at first, but could not stop surfing by end on day! So many smiles and great memories! 🤙🏽🏄🏽‍♀️Look no further and don’t hesitate, this is such a great surf school and experience! If I lived close I would be back here in a heartbeat! I cannot say enough good about Cocoa Beach Surf School. Jake is phenomenal not only at how he runs the school, but also about his attitude of keeping surfing FUN! I guess that is what I like the best here…. Emphasis on simply enjoying surfing, not competing with others. They cheer even the smallest accomplishments on. The whole team of instructors are great! They are all doing this out of sheer love for surfing. They have always bent over backwards to accommodate our needs and encourage my daughter in the sport. We have done both private lessons and a week long camp with them. I would highly encourage anyone to choose Cocoa Beach Surf School for experienced and safety oriented instructors, fun surf camps and selection of rentals. 👍🏻

My experience at Cocoa Beach. They put too much salt in the water. LOL all kidding aside had a wonderful time on the beach. And playing in the surf. Must go have fun.

Steve was amazing 👏. First time surfing for me and my daughter. And he did a amazing job instructing us,as well as encouragement. Just very down to earth guy.i would recommend him to anyone wanting to learn. Also best rates around compared to any other place. We did the 3 hr lesson and was more than satisfied with it! Highly recommend Cocoa Beach Surf School. Every staff member we interacted with was great and helpful. We came in from Texas and I had a few questions before we arrived and they responded quickly to my questions. We even ran into some possible weather issues during our scheduled time and they were very accommodating. My son thought the instructor was very down to earth, easy going, informative, and patient. He came out of the 2 hour lesson loving the experience. We also rented chairs/umbrella for the afternoon and a body board for our daughter who wasnt doing a lesson, and we were able to swim and enjoy while we watched the lesson. Will definitely be coming back!

My sister and I took lessons from Cocoa Beach Surf School on a family vacation and this was hands down the best decision we made on our trip. They had the boards stored right next to the Cocoa Beach pier which made the process of getting fitted and into the water seamless. The instruction was great and my sister who had never surfed before was up on waves within minutes of getting on the water. The photo & video package they offer is well worth the documentation of an awesome memory. Huge shout out to Jake and his crew for hooking us up, we will definitely be back to the pier to surf again in the future!

We had a two hour private lesson. The instructor was very professional and super friendly. He pushed my girlfriend and I and provided great feedback to get us up and surfing in just one lesson! So much fun and a great day of instruction. You do have to pay for parking at the pier so take that into account. Other than that, zero complaints what a great school! They came highly recommended from many of our parents local friends.

One word, AWESOME. If your from out of town just visiting or live in the area, this is the only surf school you need to check out. My grandson visited me for summer break and I signed him up for their surf camp. After watching how much fun he was having and the professionalism of the staff, I had to sign up for a solo instruction. The make it so much fun for the kids with instilling the spirit of the sport.

My son and I had a lesson with David during our family vacation and it was a blast. We both want to go back to Cocoa beach just to try our hand at surfing again. David was an awesome instructor.

We booked a one hour private surfing lesson for our family of five and was delighted that we were provided with 3 instructors! Wave conditions weren’t ideal to learn on but they showed us everything we needed to know and helped each one of us get up!!! We all succeeded and had a fabulous time! The instructors were polite and professional! We had an absolute blast and we all want to surf again soon!

If you are you in Cocoa beach and want to learn how to surf or improve your skill, here is your only option. We actually tried several schools, so I advice you not to make our mistake and start right away with this school. We took over 15 classes with Jake, Edgar, and Emily. Everyone is very professional, technical, but also extremely nice and supportive. They adjust their style based on your needs. Do you want to take it easy and have fun? Do you need help to get over your fear of water or do you want to get super technical and learn how to dance on the board? They can meet all of your expectations. Highly recommend.

We booked a group of 8 for lessons and were so happy with our experience. Our trainers were fantastic and really helped us. So pleased and would definitely recommend to anyone.

Kai and Carolyn were excellent instructors for our family including 5 kids ages 11-17. We all caught some waves and spent the rest of the day surfing. Really liked that we got to keep the surf boards for the rest of the day after our lessons.

Outstanding instructor who made sure my grands were successful. Worth every penny. We rented an umbrella and chairs and watched from a distance. Their parents could have watched via the Webcam if we knew.

Took 5 teenagers for surf lessons! Booked 2 instructors for 2 hours. We got 3 for one hour and 2 for the second hour. They got all the kids up on the surf boards. I had one who was a bit sunburned from our trip and they did all they could too help him with rash guards and wetsuits! Amazing attitudes from the staff! Accommodating and friendly! I would highly recommend for anyone visiting the area! Thanks for being a part of making our experience on the beach amazing! Highlight of my trip!

My 3 teenage sons (17,15 & 13) and I decided that we wanted to learn how to surf and choose Cocoa Beach Surf School because it was a great deal $60 for a 1 hour lesson and you get to use the surf board all day after your lesson. The instructors we excellent. Very nice college boys who were able to teach young and old alike. Thanks for a great time and memories that will last forever. Also, all 3 of my sons are addicted to surfing now. Its all they talk about and they want to do it all of the time. Not bad considering that they used to be glued to their phones for 10 hours a day.

Signed my daughter up for the 3 hour lesson with the go-pro pics and she had the absolute best time. Morgan did a great job teaching her how to surf and all the instructors were very attentive and interactive with her during her time in the ocean. She was actually up on her board riding the waves by the second hour. We would definitely recommend this school for anyone wanting to get some surfing instruction before hitting the waves.

Outstanding experience. This has been my third surfing lesson, but first with Cocoa Beach Surf School. And after this particular lesson i now feel confident to go out on my own because of CBSS. Shout out to Jeana for perfectly teaching / explaining the basics and above all, gave me the confidence to take the training wheels off and let me do it all on my own (with her supervision of course). That was huge for me. I highly recommend CBSS and request Jeana!

Reno (our instructor) was excellent and this was the exact experience we were looking for. It was a great price for the hour lesson and then an all day board rental. I highly recommend this school if you are going for the first time or need some pointers on your skills.

We were skeptical at first but were very glad that we tried it. It was a very enjoyable and fun experience. Our instructor was very helpful and patient with us. Everyone was fantastic to us, and well definitely want to do it again!

I had the best time. The surfers who work here are kind and respectful, and so much fun. Im a solo female traveler, and have always wanted to try surfing, despite my tragic lack of coordination. MY surf instructor (Sam) was super patient and encouraging- While, Jake, who runs the operation was the fun surfer vibe we all admire while being encouraging and welcoming, a great communicator, and welcoming host.I cant recommend this experience enough. Next time Im in the area, Im ready to fall 100 more times on a surf board Ill rent from them.Side Note: I bought the media package and its hilarious. just do it.

Jake and the instructors are so personable and really enjoy what they do. They encourage the students and work with all levels. We’ve been to other surf schools and won’t ever go anywhere but here again!

Spent a week at the beach and my teenage girls and I wanted to learn to surf. Found a great deal on Groupon and called to set up our lesson. We were dealing with bad weather (Tropical Storm) but they did a great job communicating the conditions of the ocean and we were able to work out a time. The waves were perfect and we had a blast learning how to surf. Our instructor was great and Really made the experience.

First time surfer here and took a class today with Jake not only did he teach me how to pop up in no time he also called all his students by name and offered so much positive feedback and professionalism. I even saw him working with a couple of kids who he had surfing way sooner than I thought possible for being so young. He cheered everyone on and did just an outstanding job. Chicago native who never thought hed be able to surf here. But the instructor I had really taught me how to do it! It was a great time and something Ill never forget. Surfing isnt really as scary as people think it is, so definitely give it a try.

My wife wanted to be taught how to surf by someone with tons of experience and definitely not me lol. I wanted someone I could trust and know the lesson wouldnt be wasted so I researched a lot and found the Cocoa Beach Surf School by Flohana. The instructors were amazing and patient and my wife loved the lessons and caught a couple of good waves. Compliments to the staff with top marks and recommendations to your company!!!! Maruru!!!
