Great family/community feel. The teachers and staff really care about the students and their families. Mrs. Pratt is an amazing woman and goes above and beyond for all of the students. Mr. Cook is a blessing and really cares. Mrs. Miller is a genuine person 😁💕

I love this school. The teachers and other staff are friendly and keep in contact with the parents. I like the habits of leadership as part of the grade. Its nice the parents are invited to school for lots of activities. I go to most sadly i dont see many parents. My son loves this school. Before CLA it was he was really shy now he has lots of friends. My only major issue is location.

A fantastic school! Only 16 students in each classroom and an innovative expeditionary model that brings community experts into the classroom and regularly sends students out to explore their the world around them. A real gem in Cleveland!

CLA is one of the few Expeditionary Learning schools in Ohio and does a terrific job preparing middle schoolers for great high schools in Cleveland.

School founder is totally disconnected from the students and is at times abusive and demeaning to families. Shelly Saltzman is a school head who will remove any student she feels is not CA worthy while smiling in your face. With an annual staff retention rate below 50% even the newest teacher knows it is not a place open to fresh ideas and student engagement. So please do not be fooled by past performance this is not a true indication of future success..... You have been warned!!!JH

This school is a joke! CITIZENS LEADERSHIP ACADEMY is an EMBARRISMENT TO CLEVELAND CHARTER ! The saddest part is they get STATE MONIES to EDUCATE OUR CHILDREN and they are FAILING ON ALL FRONTS! OUR BLACK CHILDREN ARE FAILING BY THE BOATLOADS! Why you might ask? Because the staff has no backbone, teachers dont want to earn their pay and parents put too much faith in the individuals running this school just because its CHARTER. This school needs to be re-evaluated with a fine tooth comb by the STATE! I wouldnt send my dog to this travesty!PARENT COMMUNICATION FIEP/504 GUIDELINES FACCOUNTABILITY F
