The staff here knows exactly what they are doing! I was treated with respect and given every opportunity to practice my driving, even after graduation! Would certainly suggest attending ATA!!

Great place to learn how to drive class A trucks/ vehicles. Treats you like family and work with you. Totally worth going here.

The staff from the owner down to the instructors or very knowledgeable and very hands on and I couldnt ask for any better group of people. The staff are great people who care about all the students and their success. I went into the class not knowing anything about the 18 wheelers or double clutching. Just this morning I took my CDL exam and passed on my first try. We had multiple companies come out to talk to us about jobs they had for us even before we got over Class A CDL. I would recommend this class to anybody interested in getting their CDL.

Kris, Jason, Jeremy and Troy are training truck drivers, not steering wheel holders, they are very knowledgeable and are so willing to make sure you understand the material. Jessica and April will make sure you are ready for training and ensure you are greeted with a smile. I drove for 8 years before taking a break in the Army, so I can tell you from experience they are the best and treat you like family.

When I started this new journey in my life, I never expected too be so blessed. When you come here you will be welcomed and valued. I was a nervous wreck but you will master how to inspect a semi, how it operates, the DOT rules and regulation. You cant go wrong with Armored Trucking Academy. You will have a family for life.

Instructors were very knowledgeable and provided skills to not only easily pass the DOT exam, but also for a head start in learning how to handle real situations that commercial drivers face regularly. They provide you with all of the necessary tools to take you from someone who has never sat in a tractor trailer, to a confident driver in little time. I received plenty of one on one time with my instructors, and any questions i had were answered immediately. I have heard plenty of horror stories of other CDL schools, and i can say undoubtedly that this school prides itself in NOT being one of those stories. They focus on quality over quantity, and will spend the neccessary amount of time working with you during the course to make you confident in the world of trucking. Every lesson is broken up into manageable chunks, and for lessons that require classroom time, we were afforded the opportunity to study at home (as well as in class) via ATAs online learning management system. For hands on lessons- such as driving and backing- the instructors make certain that you understand what to do and how to do it. They also did not have a one size fits all approach to teaching these skills. They made sure everyone was taught in the most effective way personal to the individual. I have pages on pages of more good things to say about this place, but a google review cant do it justice. I highly, highly recommend Armored Trucking Academy for anyone looking into trucking as a career- whether completely new to the industry, or as someone who has driven countless hours over the road.

If you’re looking for a school to get your CDL in Clarksville, Armored Trucking Academy is the ONLY place to go. From the instructors, Troy and Jason, to the office personal Chris, Jeremy, and the wonderful ladies up front. It’s truly like a family atmosphere when attending. They give you all the tools you need to pass your CDL exam, plus some. I will almost GUARANTEE, no other school is going to give you the hands on training that Armored Trucking Academy will!!

Im glad I went through this school to get my CDL. The instructors are amazing, very knowledgeable, helpful and just great people to be around. The ladies up front are one of a kind. When I didnt pass my CDL Exam the first time they was their for me they talk to me and encourage me and told me everything was going to be fine and it was because the next day I got my CDL. The owner of this school is incredible. You will not find someone that know the trucking industry like him. This guy will show you the ins and outs of a tractor trailer. 07/28/2020  Armored Trucking Academy is the best CDL School in Tennessee and Kentucky. This organization is First Class from top to bottom. The Owner and Instructors are extremely knowledgeable and very patient. They will do everything to make sure that youre prepared to pass the CDL Written Tests, Pre-trip, Backing Skill Test and Roadtest. If you are, or you know someone who is looking for a CDL School to attend and earn a CDL License this is the CDL School for you. I attended and graduated in 4 weeks. I passed my DOT Written and Roadtest and received my Class A CDL License. Armored Trucking Academy has been a  Godsend and an answer to a prayer.

On 7/2/20 I passed my Class A CDL exam and I have Armored Trucking Academy to thank for that. It was an intense 4 week program that was worth every second. The school is military friendly and there’s plenty of programs that ATA partnered with available to help you pay for the course. I personally went through “Campbell Strong” to finance this course. The owner of this school went out of his way to make it as easy as possible to attend this program. So if money is tight, take the time to reach out to the school and see what options you have. Growing up in a big city (NYC) I never had any experience driving a semi and trailer. It was quite intimidating entering the course and I didn’t know what to expect. The professionalism, respect, knowledge, patience and genuine love the staff invests into the process and students is second to none. It’s truly a family environment and they purposely do not over book classes so that each student can get all the attention needed to be ready to pass the permit (general knowledge & endorsements), pre-trip, backing and driving exams. The schools online portal and practice facility are excellent. The owner, instructors, and ladies behind the desk are all amazing human beings with hearts of gold, who want nothing more than to see you succeed. I recommend this school to anyone looking to obtain their CDL license. It is an honor to be part of the first graduating class for ATA (OG’s). Thank you Armored Trucking Academy for everything!!!
