David & I started school at St. Anthony of Padua school/church in the Fall of 1949. David was a first grader and I was a second grader. In fact, my parents, William and Mary Burke purchased the property on behalf of the parish. Construction of the school, church and convent began in April. The parish adapted an old farm house as the friary. I had 3 younger siblings who attended SAS as well as nieces/nephews. David an I got married on Sept. 5, 1964 in the (gym) church. Our youngest son, Chris, was the last one to graduate in 1990. My parents had a child or grandchild at St. Anthonys for 41 consecutive years!! I do want to mention that all of our children participated in the sports, then went to college and played more, as they got a good foundation of sports here at St. Anthonys. We are still members, 72 years and are proud to call St. Anthonys our home church. David & Mary Sue Mann

St. Anthony School is a wonderful, welcoming educational environment! My three children have been taught by qualified, caring, involved teachers in a faith-filled community. There are many extracurricular opportunities including athletics, student government, theater, art and scouts to encourage kids to become well-rounded and involved citizens. The Stewardship Friday program is another amazing way for students to learn compassion as well as ways to make a difference in the lives of other people. SAS has provided a strong foundation for my children to rely on as they move forward in their lives. I will always be grateful for the experiences and friendships theyve had. Once a Bear, always a Bear!

Went to this school for many years, along with my other siblings. Can’t stress this enough of how good in education and passion this school has for its students. I went from there to a public High School and I already knew things that they taught us years before. Sometimes I had to teach the teachers at my high school. Love this school and will send my children there in the future.

As an alumna, teacher, and parent of a student who attends St. Anthony School, I cant say enough great things about it. I feel that my child gets an excellent education in an environment that is loving and nurturing. I feel that I work with people who are supportive, collaborative, and who work well as a team. I love St. Anthony School!

Choosing St. Anthony School for our childrens education was the best decision for our family. Our boys received an excellent education in a faith based environment surrounded by a supportive and caring community. The takeaways we gained from SAS are some that we still carry with us today. Attending a school that is goal orientated and focuses on strong faith, family, friendships, and learning what it means to be a good student and steward of God are only a few of the reasons why we love St. Anthony School.

I attended St. Anthony School from Kindergarten to eighth grade and was incredibly happy with the education I received. The strong academic and moral education prepped me not only to attend Trinity High School on a scholarship but now to attend Miami University of Ohio on a full academic scholarship. I am incredibly grateful to SAS and the love and support I received from this community as I grew in my education and in the faith. Never have I met a more caring group of administrators and educators.

As an alumni of St. Anthony School I received an education that was second to none. The high stands and caring atmosphere provided by the staff and faculty at the school prepared me far beyond my high school years. Very grateful for my time at St. Anthony School!

This has been a great school for many years. Many of my family members attended St. Anthony and all got an excellent education in a safe and wholesome environment. The Principal and Teachers are very passionate about academic achievement and student successes. Go Bears!!

I feel very fortunate to be an alumni, parent and now teacher at St. Anthony School. I enjoyed my personal experience at St. Anthony and I know my children will as well. St. Anthony provides numerous enrichment programs, highly educated teachers and a nurturing environment that prepares children for higher education.

My son loves it at St. Anthony’s and I adore my job teaching here! I couldn’t ask for a better group of coworkers or principal. We have so many traditions and special memories that I’m thrilled to be a part of!

St. Anthony’s has so much to offer. From an excellent education to a warm and welcoming parish. The staff at the school and the parish take great pride in what they do. It shows in how they have created a family environment and overall great community.

I went to St. Anthony for all 9 years of my elementary and middle school experience. I loved every minute of it.The education and teachers were amazing and prepared me well for high school education. I also loved the community, and I still go and visit the school even as I am now in high school.While this is aa catholic school, there is a large amount of non-Catholics, so for non-Catholics, St. Anthony is a great option. There is also great diversity at St. Anthony especially for a Catholic school.I am now at Jeffersonville High-school, and I am grateful for all that St. Anthony taught me. If you are not planning on going to a catholic high school, St. Anthony is still a great option.

Our family loves Saint Anthony’s school! As a graduate of SAS, I was well prepared to enter my college preparatory program in high school. For my son, I wanted a safe, faith-filled environment in which he could flourish academically, socially, and spiritually. The highly qualified faculty and staff are compassionate, dedicated and gave my son a strong foundation and the confidence to succeed.

Great school, caring faculty, top notch lunches. The teachers did a phenomenal job not only preparing me for Trinity high schools advanced program, but also coaching me through a learning disability and organizational challenges. I cannot overemphasize how much this school has done for me, and would wholeheatedly recommend it for anyone.

My husband and I and our three daughters are all alumni of St. Anthony School. St. Anthony School provided us all with an excellent education in a caring, faith-based environment. We are glad to be part of the St. Anthony family.

We think enough of St Anthony School that we sent both our children there. And now all 6 of our Grandchildren have attended. St Anthony’s has great teachers who care, small classes and a diverse student body. These things plus a faith-based education make St Anthony’s a great choice for a quality education.

St Anthony School was a wonderful place for my daughter to go.Many fond memories for us and I’m sure for her and her children go here now,it provided the base for her to build her faith and life on SAS,Providence HS,Bellermine University and now a career as a wonderful nurse, a wonderful mother and wife.Thank You SAS😊

We arrived to St. Anthony of Padua over six years ago, and I could not be more grateful. The school, church and family community are beyond measure. I love that the student body is made up from children of different ethnicity. There is a seat at the table for everyone at SAS!

I loved this school, it has definitely helped me learn about life choices and it is worth it in the end. I went to St. Anthony my entire life, tbh I wasn’t a big fan, it was a good school and all but I was jus tired. Once I got to high school I was so glad I went here. And yes “eighth-grade-idis” is a real thing. Loved all of my teachers!😬😅anyways they know. Thx so much st. Anthony and I’d recommend it to everyone!

St. Anthony School prepared both of our children for future academic success . Our son graduated from Bellarmine University with honors . Next May our daughter will graduate with a double major from the University of Notre Dame.

I have two children who have attended St. Anthonys for the last 8 years (One started in kindergarten and the other in the preschool program). I couldnt imagine them attending any other school! The teachers are caring, smart and great about keeping parents up to date and aware of your childs progress. The curriculum is challenging and engaging. The school fosters a family atmosphere with strong Catholic values. I wish St. Anthonys went all the way through 12th grade so Id never have to move them!

I have been a part of the SAS family for 7 years. The staff and principal work really hard to know and care for their students not just academically, but emotionally and spiritually also.
