This school tends to not keep their eye or dont pay enough attention to the bad children or the cool kids. They do NOT watch what any of those children do, if its throwing materials in class or even cussing. I feel this school especially teachers and the yard duty should pay more attention to those type of children.

I was interested in this school so I went to office to ask about this school and enrollment.A lady at the office seems not so friendly and didn’t have much patience to answer all my questions about this school.She may have been busy....But I’m no longer interested in this school anymore.

None of the teachers treat the students with respect. They teachers mentally and physically abuse the children. If you want your child to be safe pick another school. This one will abuse their future.

The teachers here are really sexist, they only believe the girls. Whenever I’m doing my work one of the girls always talks to me and I’m the one that gets in bigger trouble, she just gets told to get back to word and then the teacher gives me a whole lectute on why not to distract them but I don’t start the conversations most of the time, they are teaching kids not be social at all, all the cool teachers there coach Knoer, Mrs. Childress, Mr. Tandy, and Dr Gregory. Keep up the good work you!

From a kid being in this school since kindergarten (now I’m in 6th) my experience is horrible. Yard duties rarely if not never pay attention and should pay more attention doing there job. I’ve seen fights, pushes, cusses and wrestles and almost none of these were ever been caught. The field sometimes has trash and sometimes even jackets soaked in mud. And the schools motto is, “Be Kind.”

My son has been attending this school ever since kindergarten and he doesnt like it at all. The teachers and staff members hate males but they treat the females like queens. When it comes to being nice they are bias to all the gentleman. The worst part is that the school motto is being kind but the teachers dont influence it here at the school. This is not a school that you would want your child to attend. Very Disrespectful school. Horrible cardboard food.

This place is cancerous I attended it for 7 years and I’ve met all my friends and I have to thank the school for that but in every other way the school is terrible but once my graduation class leaves they bring henthis all new technology there are mostly sexist teachers who just don’t care about boys and act like the girls do nothing one of my teachers in fifth grade decides when most of the boys are on a gate field trip let’s have as most fun as possible but there are some good teachers like mr Fenton and that’s mostly it mr Fenton is a fifth grade teacher is is very kind very funny makes kids want to be at school and make the students feel safe I would have stayed to be with my two best friend but I got rejected some kids with worst grades than me got accepted all they do is a raffle of names like what the heck I’m only half way through and I miss them I’ve only seen them three times since I’ve known them both four 7 years I’ve never been away from them this long they got there Gucci wallets acting like there rich and have fake grills a IF YOUR STUDENT/SON IS IN FIFTH GRADE AND THEY GET IN MRS SEDILLO TRANSFER HIM OUT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First of all. ive been a student in arroyo and i was actually laughing so hard at the fact that this school is a blue ribbon school. maybe it does have very good education which it does but it doesnt have the other half which is respect and kindess :) just wanna give a shoutout to the staff members out there who treated the students like trash. if the parents were there thats when they actually gave you respect. all the staff at the desk are so disrespectful to students and would give you an attitude. i found a fly in my cafeteria food too but you know they dont care, whatever you do dont eat there, i am actually warning you.

Couldn’t get to my house to assist my father who fell because they have small children directing traffic at the end of school. 20 minutes to pass the stop sign, totally unprofessional

My two daughters (then starting 7th & 5th), their Mom & I after 10yrs living in Oregon moved back to San Diego for the 15-16 school yr. With the exception of my personal biases & prejudices, I felt AVCS, both lower & upper levels were ran pretty tight or as tight as can be, avoiding outside negative influences. I feel the school is quite multi-diverse as possibly can be and w/pretty high educational & socially appropriate expectations for a Chula Vista area school. Yes, Eastlake is expected to provide an educationally competitive & socially acceptable experiences when compared to other school districts with similar if not higher incomed homes. As long as discrimination & prejudices are not a practice IN THE SCHOOL, the school, staff and students can only do what is legally and morally allowed & acceptable within the school umbrella for not to be interpreted as the school meddling into family dynamics, affairs & their beliefs. Parents have as much a responsibility as the school staff in educating our children and promoting ONGOING socially acceptable values and beliefs regardless of religion, political beliefs & cultural background. The school is close nit, everyone know everyone and Im proud to have had my now 9th & 6th grader daughters attend or attended this school. Go Coyotes! 🐺

The teachers at this school very rude and disrespectful they do nothing to stop bulling they give a stop slip and that is pretty much it if u want you kid to be happy take them too an other schools because the kids at this school are very rude and dis kind of school there all like rice gum 4life and be a Maverick like they won’t shut it

This school is absolutely horrible, the food is stale, the people are incredibly stupid and think that they are all cool considering no adult actually watches the kids which enables them to do stupid stuff, the teachers suck at teaching, and besides all that I only went for 2 years and those were the worst two years of my life.
