This school was a total scam!! I went to the Kankakee location many years ago they had us sign over all our loan proceeds and issued us a check for maybe 45-50dollars a month and Im stuck with 20k plus in student loans and the dogus location closed if anyone has help on how to get this to go away please contact me they need charges brought against them I have anxiety everytime I hear about student loan forgiveness

DONT GO HERE!! My wife was looking forward to starting her cosmetology program when she enrolled, but since her first day, the staff and administration have made one thing clear: they do not care. They do not have vision for their school, the curriculum, or the flourishing of their students. We pay out of pocket for a $14,000+ education where her daily experience is wasting time doing what she could learn from watching YouTube videos or reading a textbook at home.While the school has never been organized or structured, COVID-19 made it very clear that Cannella School of Hair Design didnt have the decency to contact students with any information or updates while the stay-at-home orders were in place. They ignored emails and left students in the dark on how the pandemic would affect their clock hours and graduation dates.They live up to their reputation of only caring about the money and not the actual education and experience theyre supposed to provide. Theyve consistently been mediocre in how they run their business and its literally keeping students from being able to take their state exams for licensure and pursue careers as independent beauty professionals. If my wife would have known how awful her experience would be, she would have never enrolled here.I 100% do not recommend.

I am currently a student attending Cannella School of Hair Design at the commercial location in Chicago. The administration is beyond unprofessional and shockingly dismissive. There is no two-way communication between the student and staff. As far as communication, administration only responds thru Facebook when a student has complaints and they DO NOT respond friendly or in a professional manner. They have continuously ignored emails from students and have not responded to one email during the entire COVID-19 shut down. There were no professional legit emails sent out to students when the shut down began. We learned by word of mouth and thru text messages from student to student. Administration has been on FACEBOOK liking comments towards students that provoke and condone violence when a status is made expressing dissatisfaction or concern. Administration has basically refused to visit the Commercial site since we have arrived back after the COVID-19 shut down to answer any questions or concerns that we may have regarding lost time and hours and contract information. If you are a perspective student I would strongly advise you look else where to begin or continue your education❗️ Cannella is NOT for the students and DO NOT focus on student progression and success thru out the program and after❗️❗️❗️ Also outside of the educational aspect of being a student of cannella and having had these unpleasant experiences, I am also very DISAPPOINTED, UNCOMFORTABLE, and ANGRY as an AFRICAN AMERICAN student that my Non Black CEO feels comfortable to openly use the “N” word on a very public social media platform. Not only in public but in GENERAL!!!

The school in general is very dirty.They dont care about teaching you they just care about your money

Dial school when they dont even teach you and even the teachers dont know they have trained teachers. Besides, you have to make a contract to enter the school and not even how to get out of the contract, the truth is I do not recommend it at all because they do not even teach very dispassionate
