We sent my daughter here for two summers and really loved it. Every summer, shed come home tan, ripped with muscles, and smiling. At three, she learned how to go across the monkey bars. She left last summer reading about 15 sight words in English at age four (shes in a Spanish immersion school during the school year). We really wished the school went to Middle School! The teachers and administration were so incredible! And we LOVED the diversity at the school.

I highly recommend this school. My son graduated Kindergarten from Ms. Rachels class and I special requested that my younger daughter be with Ms. Rachel too because of all the growth we saw in our son. My kids love school because of this program. Now that my son is at a new school for 1st grade, Ms. Rachel and the staff continue to be a great support with his new school and really are our village. I cannot say enough about how great this school has been for our kids! -- Wonderful staff, wonderful leadership, happy kids and grateful families!

We love this school. Our son has been here for 2 years and our daughter will start in June! It is incredibly safe. From the personal key code to get in and OUT, the security cameras in every room and hallway (so we can watch our kid from home or work - not very productive for our work, but fun) to the way they teach the kids to treat each other with respect. I love that they are teaching my son the skills to deal with the actions of others in a productive way.My son and his friends are smart, funny, confident and kind. These traits are encouraged and reinforced at this school. Highly recommend that you check this out for yourself and your kid to see if this is the right fit for you. The staff is competent and fun and they love my kid and he loves them.

My daughter has been in this school since October 2010. We have had a very pleasant experience. My daughter has progressed impressively. We havent had any problems with any of the staff, they are all professional, caring and concerned for the growth of the children. They are all more than happy and willing to answer questions, and will do what they can to take care of any concerns that arise.

My son was able to attend MSA from June of 2018 through March of 2019. We saw so much growth in him when he started at MSA, we were amazed. The teachers were all great to our son and very relatable to us, as parents. Everyone at MSA truly seems to care about the wellbeing of your child(ren) as well as you as a parent. We had to leave due to a move, but we highly recommend MSA to anyone!

As educators of small children we are well aware that children respond to situations with their hands. Please understand that children are continually learning conflict solutions, how to share, and express themselves in order to get their particular needs met. It is the job of educators to determine and evaluate what is in the normal range of development.A short four days within any program is not ample time to get to know a facility, staff, scheduling, etc. All the same, it is unfortunate that this particular client had a negative experience and we are in sincere hopes that they find the best program to suit their needs and most importantly, the needs of their child.Yes! please do your homework about this facility ! It is VERY important that each parent evaluate a childs educational facility. But also, do your homework ! Educate yourselves on Realistic child development, take the time to get involved by all means.Hasty and derogative remarks without actual experiences or involvement only hinders and closes doors to understanding our children fully.

Finding Montessori of Aurora was an answered prayer for our family. I took a quick leap of faith after meeting Miss Mindy and knew that MSA was going to be the right school for our daughter. Miss Mindy and Miss Sally exceeded our expectations. They taught our daughter to be the best version of herself and in turn we as a family grew and learned. The kindness, compassion and focus on loving learning is what made our experience at MSA so valuable. My child loves to learn and loves school. This love is the best foundation that a child could start with on their academic journey. Thank you for aligning your program with developing good people and academics. We will forever be grateful for the gifts we have received from the two years at MSA. The teachers were exceptional. Although we are sad to move on to the next step of her academic journey, our hearts are full with memories and a wonderful academic foundation.Thank you for providing such a wonderful place to grow! My daughter misses her teachers so much. Miss Mindy, Miss Sally, Miss Rachel, Miss Cuqui and the others all uniquely provided growth and fond memories.

My husband and I are thankful for Ms Loris leadership. Everyone we interact with at MSA are stellar! We were reflecting the other day about when we first brought our son to MSA. Ms Shawn truly made us feel like family and after meeting her we knew that MSA was the school we needed to send our son to! Not only send him to, but pick up our family and move to this side of town just so he could attend. The quality of education taught here is superb and we continue to see our children grow and gain the confidence they need to thrive.

We have had the pleasure of being part of the Montessori School of Aurora family for over 10 years. All 3 of our children have attended MSA, our oldest is now 12 and our youngest is still attending at the age of 5 1/2. MSA has provided our children with a solid foundation and a love of learning. Our children have experienced diverse cultures, been exposed to concepts of global citizenship, been academically challenged, and nurtured through their years at MSA. The teaching staff is AMAZING!!! The same teachers that taught my oldest son are still at MSA which provides an amazing continuity for our family. The teachers are loving, supportive and are incredibly in tune to the individual needs of their students (Ms. Cucqui, Ms. Dee and Ms Amanda are the best!!!). Our family has gone through personal loss in the last year and the love, support and care that we received from MSA as we coped with things was incredible. They supported my daughter through the loss of her grandmother, were there for our family in numerous ways from bringing food, attending services and just taking care of our children when they needed it most. When we first decided to put our children in day care 10 years ago, we visited numerous facilities and are so blessed that we chose MSA right from the start. This school is a family owned operation which shows in their flexible approach, the stability and experience of their staff and teachers, and the tremendous growth and academic advancement of their students. My children have learned so much at MSA and my older boys still love to visit and catch up with their old teachers. All 3 of my children went on to kindergarten at a public school after attending MSA for 3 years and were all academically advanced and extremely well prepared for kindergarten. They were all able to read (simple books) by the time they left MSA, doing simple math and were quickly placed into the highest academic groupings in public school. While we are involved parents, we never had to do extra work with our kids, MSA made sure that our children were challenged and supported at their own level to ensure that they grew academically. We highly recommend this school for any families who truly want a nurturing and supportive experience in their childrens early childhood development. Thank you MSA for everything you have done for our family, we are so sad that this year will be our last with you, but we hope to continue to visit in the future!

After looking at over 25 schools in the Denver and vicinity we decided to go with Montessori School of Aurora. This is an outstanding school, with a great sense of community, wonderful, dedicated teachers. Our daughter has been going here for 2.5 years. She has learned to work independently, take on responsibility, be a team member, as well as to accept and celebrate individual differences. She is spending 8-9 hours every day at the school, but whenever we go there to pick her up, she is asking for “5 more minutes” to play. This school is like a big family, with a great environment. We are really impressed with the private kindergarten program they have. Our daughter started to read almost instantly after starting the program, and her reading is outstanding now. She learned so much about animals, plants, nature, human body, geography, astronomy, and much more. Spanish lessons are awesome too. They take kids to various field trips every month. They have Ballet Dance class in the school, which our daughter enjoys ☺Montessori school of Aurora is one of the best places for a kid to grow, learn and explore. This school is definitely a 10/10.We highly recommend it to everyone!!!Sincerely,Tatev Sahakyants

My grandson went to MSA for about 3 years and just this year advanced to the first grade. I am extremely satisfied with the level of instruction he received at this school. The teachers were wonderful and their interaction with my grandson gave me comfort in knowing that he was in a great school. They have a much diversified curriculum and I was quite impressed with how much he learned on a daily basis. They made learning fun for him and he was always anxious to continue at home. He really enjoyed reading and his comprehension was amazing. It made my job much easier when I reinforced what he learned in school at home. I also liked that they were a culturally aware school and taught him to respect others that may think differently than him. He made a lot of friends in the school and really missed his teachers when he left. Even I miss the school, the people are great and I feel I have many friends there. Now that he’s attending the first grade I really see the advantage he has in his level of education. His attentions to detail, penmanship, math skills, reading comprehension, are just some things I’ve noticed he was advanced in. He really enjoys learning and I attribute that to his time at MSA; theyve really helped me in building that foundation in him. As a parent, I was always concerned about the decisions I made for him; his education being one of them. With so many different schools out there you really want to know you’ve made the correct choice. I have never once regretted my decision in having him attend MSA.

My son currently attends the Montessori School of Aurora and has been there for the last two and a half years. During his time at MSA, the staff has fostered the development of both his academic and social-emotional needs. Specifically, his teacher has differentiated her instruction to cater to his individual learning style and talents. She has exposed him to challenging activities and she has sparked a love for learning through her creative and imaginative lesson planning.Aside from the high academic expectations, the staff plays a very nurturing role in understanding my son’s social-emotional needs. The administration and teachers have engaged in positive problem solving to generate interventions to support my child’s needs. With their strong understanding of child development and years of experience, they have collaborated with me to determine the best path for my son. Their genuine concern for my child’s well-being is authentic. My son’s time is coming to a close at MSA. Currently, I am visiting public elementary schools as well as private schools in hopes of finding a solid kindergarten program. Truly, I am having a difficult time finding a setting that will match what MSA has offered my son over the past few years. At this point, I know his foundation is strong and he is equipped with skills that far exceed what many programs expect of him.MSA has a true recipe for success. Their balance of high academic expectations and a nurturing environment has proved an effective and positive experience for my son. I anxiously await for my six month old daughter to begin her MSA journey. I have recommended and will continue to recommend my friends and family to MSA.

Im not necessarily one who likes to write reviews or for that matter have lot of time to sit and write reviews. But, after reading some of the previous reviews, I felt compelled to give our experience (over our two boys) with Montessori School of Aurora (MSA).We had transferred our oldest child (who is now eight years old and in the third grade) when he was 3 years from another private school because he had broken his leg at that other school. Given that experience, we were extremely careful and cautious in choosing MSA. One of the primary things that convinced us to give MSA a try was the fact that they have a security system where you can monitor your child from a secured Internet connection. So, in essence we could see where our son was every minute of the day.My husband (who works from home) purchased a separate computer just to monitor our sons every movement at MSA. This security feature gave us a sense of comfort which we did not have with the previous private school. With the guidance from the MSA administration and hard work put in by the teachers, our child flourished socially, emotionally, and intellectually. Although we had the option to place him in public school for Kindergarten, we chose to keep him at MSA so he could complete his Montessori studies. This was absolutely the best decision we made for him.Fast forward five years later, and our child is now an 8 year old third grader who has been designated as a Gifted and Talented student at his elementary school since the first grade. He reads at an 8th grade reading level. He has excelled in every facet of his social, emotional, and educational development phases in elementary school. And, as we always tell the MSA admin staff and the teacher, he would not be where he is without the foundation he received at the Montessori School of Aurora.Because of this wonderful experience, we enrolled our second son into MSA also at the age of 3. He too has grown emotionally, socially, and intellectually. He graduates in the Spring of 2013 from the MSA Kindergarten program. Like his older brother, he also displays Gifted and Talented tendencies in speech, reading, writing, and logical reasoning. What is one of the common denominator for both of our boys?Exactly! Montessori School of Aurora. In summary, our experience with MSA has been an excellent one. In our opinion, the level of education, care, and overall quality of MSA is second to none.

This school is horrific. My 4 year old daughter was bullied (and it was ok in directors mind, because its normal and will happen everywhere we go) My daughter was hit twice by the same girl, and pulled by the hair and thrown off a see-saw by another child who wasnt even a student at the school. I did not get one incident report. I was first told this child who pulled her by the hair was expelled, then the director/owner told me she was never even a student there. So why is it, that a child who is not a student, has access to bite and physically harm an actual student. The director/owner had no remorse, no sympathy for what happened. She told us we didnt teach our daughter life skills and thats why this is happening to her. My daughter has been in 4 different schools in her life so far because of our family relocating so often, and she has NEVER dealt with this craziness. The director/owner actually said that these girls were testing my daughter since she was the new student, why is it ok for a 4 year child to test another child. My daughter would scream and cry begging me not to take her to school. She would squeeze me by the leg and tremble. My entire experience with this school and staff was terrifying. A friend of mine has her daughter there now for 2 weeks and her little girl cries every morning begging her mom not to take her to this school. This is not a coincidence, this school should be under investigation. Please do your homework before sending your child here.

Our daughter attended MSA for 4 years. She is a graduate of the full-day Kindergarten program and is now on her way to 1st grade at an International Charter School. The educational and social foundation that she has attained with this Montessori school would not have been possible in a conventional early childhood program. Completing the Montessori program thru Kindergarten helped our daughter to grow as a strong self-confident leader, a good decision maker, and culturally aware and respectful. The Montessori materials and lessons are challenging and intuitively teach math, geometry and language fundamentals in a fun and unique way. She now reads and comprehends at a 3rd grade level and is advanced in her vocabulary and science skills. The consistent daily school attendance helped her to feel emotionally secure and build a solid academic foundation that she needs to be a success in the future.MSA has a culturally rich and diverse population that exemplifies the global world we are living in today. The Cultural Dinner night at the school is a yearly event that our family always looks forward to. (The food is fabulous!) Additionally, MSA is a venue for the Parenting with Love and Logic courses. These classes helped to provide us with invaluable parenting techniques and skills to add to our new parenting toolbox. My family will always hold a deep debt of gratitude to the top-notch personal attention and care that was provided to our daughter by the schools owners and teachers at MSA. It takes a village to raise children and MSA definitely helped us on the right path to raising a fantastic student and human being.
