Took one lesson so far, great experience for my 3 year old! She is excited to go back next week ❤️🐴Wanted to update this - she wants to go every week for a new lesson (4 so far!). The instructors are so patient and really take their time teaching showing her techniques and giving her information about horses throughout the ride. Every week she learns something new, includung trotting 🏇.I also like that they start the class by teaching her how to brush and saddle up her horse, and end it by having her help put away all the riding gear and feed them carrots.

Not friendly. Doesn’t let you interact w any horses unless your on one.Rude to parents, riders and owners that pay to board.Hard to understand. I understand this is all they know but going to other stable opens your eyes quite a bit. This should be a fun, beautiful experience. Not a stressful, stiff environment.Sorry to write this. Only place in the Cape:(

My 3 yr old daughter always talks about riding horses from watching Spirit so, my husband and I on our family vacation thought it would be a perfect idea to try it. Of course she was scared at first but Ms Christina was so patient. She knew exactly what to say and do to make her feel comfortable. She loved riding the Chop Chop. She was absolutely thrilled. We could not have picked a better place for her first time. We wish we lived closer.

This place did an amazing one on one for my Granddaughter’s 2nd Birthday!!! Amazing staff!

My child had been attending weekly lessons since October. We stopped scheduling lessons a few weeks ago due to dissatisfaction. The lesson is supposed to be one hour long. We arrived on time, however, my child wasn’t called back to start his lesson until 10 minutes past the start time. My child wasn’t brought into the arena to mount the horse until 5:30. My child rode the horse for only 19 minutes and got off at 5:49. The lesson should have been extended for the amount of time they delayed in starting. I already know they groom the horse before and after riding it, but 19 mins of riding is unacceptable. This is very disappointing as my child really enjoys riding the horses but I don’t feel I got my money’s worth. This was not the first time that my child wasn’t taken back to start their lesson on time and the lesson was not extended to make up for it. After the lesson finished I intended to speak with the owner about my concerns but she was busy assisting someone in the tack shop. I am somewhat surprised that I haven’t received any communication from the staff since we abruptly stopped scheduling our weekly lessons.

The owner had a negative demeanor. Good facility and clean.

A wonderful place for children to learn about horses and how to ride horses. We love their Horse Days and having parties at Saddlewood. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

We have been looking for places to bored our horse and upon entering the area we were disapointed. It looked like a junkyard. Overgrown, hold rusted cars and trailers. We didnt even get down. It was defiently not pristine as their websight describes and not worth the 550 dollars for boarding

I had a great first lesson last night. Everyone is so nice. I learned a lot within the lesson. Ive always had a love for the horses and I just love being around horses. This is the place to be. Ill definitely be coming back. I look forward to more lessons! 🐎 💖

We have only had a couple lessons, but everyone has been so patient and kind with my 7 year old, who is a little nervous, but I can see her building confidence even after only a couple lessons. What a great barn, with fabulous instructors, I wish I could give more than 5 stars. I’m excited to see her continue to grow in her confidence each week, and hope this turns into a true passion for her.

I wanted to do something special for my grand daughters while they were visiting. They dont enjoy the beach. One was scared of horses but with their patience and working with the horse she wad grooming and on the horse in no time. They had a blast. Lots of pictures with big smiles.

I recently went to a birthday party for a friend of my 5 year old. They did a great job and I found out they have very reasonable rates, we are thinking about having my daughters next birthday party there. She had so much fun.

Camp is the best program my daughter has ever been to.The monthly lesson program Alexis attends has taught my daughter how to ride, how to care for horses and she does it on her own.The pricing is very affordable.DON’T TAKE MY WORS FOR IT. I have been taking riding lessons at saddlewwod horse club for over 2 years and the staff and horses are amazing. Mrs. Christina is a very knowledgeable instructor. She always knows what she is talking about. The way she and her family treat the students and the horses is extraordinary . Whenever I go for my lesson, all the horses in the barn are friendly and playful. The staff encourage each and every student and I cant ask for a better stable to ride at.

We have had several birthday parties for my daughter here and each have been a blast, weve always done the extras and spend a good amount of money. We make sure the guests are respectful and abide by all rules and clean up after each party . In fact my 8 yr old daughter recently had her last b day party there and received a horse riding lesson that a friend of our purchased from Saddlewood for a present. My wife schedule her lesson for today 4/14/19 which was the date the girl she was on the phone with (for a extended period of time) scheduled her lesson for, which my wife has written down on both of our calendars and the gift certificate itself. So today we call inquiring about another gift certificate for my daughter and the owner informs us we missed our appointment and that it was on the 13th not the 14th. She was unfriendly to say the least and would not let us reschedule even though they told us the wrong date! Never mind the fact we have had several parties and have highly recommended them to many friends and family that have also booked and had parties there. My 8yr old daughter who has been super excited and talking about it non stop all week is in tears which makes me extremely upset. I will be posting this on every social media outlet, and will never book anything else there again. We also have friends that moved to the area and ( again at my recommendation ) used them to board their horses and had sub-par things to say about the facility. I have been a client for 5 years, starting with beginning lessons and progressing to horse owner and boarder. I learn every time I go to the stable and I appreciate their hands on care and dedication more each time I am there. I adore my horse buddy and am so grateful to have this time and place to appreciate her.

We had my daughters Birthday party here, it was really great and a wonderful alternative to something like chucky cheese. 100 percent recommend!

Just had a birthday party here. When it says No mess No stress not true. From the time we arrived I felt stressed! They only give you 15 min before the party to set up. Upon arrival they were still wiping down the tables. There were flies everywhere from the previous party which was disgusting. I couldnt leave anything uncovered.Everything felt rushed! The staff or owner not sure which, asked for the money for the add ons in front of guests. I guess that may be ok for some people but I feel its unprofessional. The way she spoke to the adults and even the children was rude. No one explained where the bathroom was before the party. It wasnt explained that only 6 kids could be in the bounce house at once and that we had to provide an attendant to make sure kids were transitioning out.She did not say when family photos would be taken nor gave warning. My husband and 2 other children had gone to grab the pizza and almost missed the photo.In conclusion I would not book here again. Stress was the only thing I felt during the whole party. The other parents that were present during the party felt the same way.In reference to the reply. There was never anyone to greet us upon this so called check in. I wish the girl who I actually spoke with the day I went and booked the event was the one hosting. She was amazing!My argument was not the payment. It was the delivery of which is was asked for. Yelling over my guests while on the other side of the room stating the price of the add on is not very professional.As far as the fence goes I wasnt even referring to that nor did I hear anything about it.I would just offer some constructive criticism...you should be careful with tone and delivery of words while speaking to others.

Had a great time watching my children learn about horses an the care. As well as them getting to ride for the first time.

I have been taking lessons for a couple months there now and I love it mrs. Cristina takes well care of her animals. Her animals love her as she does her animals. She takes time into teaching her students how to tac the horses brush the horses feed the horses and ride the horses. Im glad I take lessons there because she is my role model.

Highly recomend Saddlewood Horse Club!!! Our girls ages 9 & 7 absolutley love this place!!! Over the past several years they have participated in birthday parties, horse interaction days, summer camp, and just this year started group riding lessons. Saddlewood Horse Club offers a safe, and exciting learning environment for children of all ages. The owners, Mrs Christina and family are all amazing!!!! I cant speak highly enough of Saddlewood and their staff and animals. I have been a long term boarder and my horse has never ever been so happy for these past several years. I started off by taking lessons and was very impressed with Christinas CHA certification that helped me strengthen and grow my riding ability. The horses at Saddlewood are super friendly and you can tell how happy they are to be there and get taken care of very well. My daughter loves to ride there as well on both my horse and some of the schooling horses that shes become to attached too and I feel extremely confident in her safety as shes always being looked after and getting taken care of. She has also learned so much in not just riding but also in being able to take care of a horse so someday she will be able to care for my horse on her own. I constantly bring my family and friends over to visit and everyone always has a blast and really enjoys their time. I highly recommend them to anyone that has a passion and love for horses and other animals.

***Do not visit******Do not visit***I brought my daughter here so she can learn how to ride after visiting on a birthday party and learning about it. In the a few times that we visited, she was never tough how to ride but instead, the owner ( a really rude german female ) would only point out what my daughter was doing wrong.Unless you are german, do not come to this place eccept if you like to be ignored or treated as if you are less than they are. My daughter is only 10 and today she decided on her own that she did not want to come back.It did not matter if we would show up 10 to 20 minutes early, my daughter would always be the last one to start riding. You pay for an hr and the kids only ride for about 20 min.
