Our daughter has danced at ORiley Irish Dance for several years and its been a great experience. Excellent instructor, non-competitive environment, and live music for recitals and performances. Another plus is that you dont need to spend $1000 on the costumes; they wear black skirts or slacks, colorful tops, all easily found at discount stores. Teacher is world-class dancer and researcher, married to a world-class Irish piper! We can highly recommend this school.

This is a great Irish dancing school, especially for those who are interested in non-competitive dance. The students learn both soft shoe and hard shoe dancing (and Sean Nos), history and culture of Irish dancing, and build confidence by performing. Jackie is a kind and inspiring teacher. We as parents also enjoy the performances which often have live music.

Jackie has created an amazing dance program that strives to expose and immerse the dancers in the Irish music culture beyond just their class - dancing at Irish cultural events, multiple venues and Ceili dances, to enrich the experience of the culture of Irish music and dance. Our daughter has danced with Jackie for 8+ years, and we are always impressed with how adeptly Jackie works with kids of all ages, and creates amazing community with her dancers, as evidenced by the continuity of her class members over the years. Our kid has been learning, performing, and having a fantastic time dancing with Jackie for eight years now! Between summer camp weeks and a mix of classes and groups that go out and either perform or dance in public, it has been wonderful!The instructors teach and model dance techniques, musicality, and partnership at all levels.

Jackie ORiley is an amazing dancer and a very good teacher. This type of traditional dance is close to the ground and Jackies teaching is down-to-earth as well :-) !! A frequent focus in the senior performance class is on musicality -- communication between dancers and musicians -- and also on comradery between dancers. Our daughter has been with Jackie for 7 years. Its definitely her favorite activity and its fun to watch as well. Im glad we have a community-oriented non-competitive dance option like this available to us.

ORiley Irish Dance is so much more than just a dance class! The dance instruction is amazing, but the sense of community that is fostered by Jackie and her staff makes it a place of true friendship and love. My two daughters both started at a very young age and will carry this love of dance and community with them through their entire lives.
