We moved to the suburbs for our kids to have a better education. Last year and part of the year before was basically closed or limited to actual education. Here they thrived and had more one on one. Both of my kids loved their teachers. The families of this school have been truly great to our family.

This is a fantastic school and I highly recommend it. We have sent all of our children for the past several years since it was formed from three separate Christian schools, which were Bethany Academy, Life Academy, and Christian Life Academy.When COVID hit in early 2020, the staff did an excellent job accommodating all of the students and worked hard to keep them engaged. When the 2020-2021 school year started, UCA made the decision to do in-person education, which was incredibly helpful for the social development of our children and, in all honesty, our collective sanity with the alternative being cooped up even more. There were occasional 2-week quarantines for individual classes, but no significant outbreaks.Excited for the upcoming school year; when your kids tell you that they miss school and eagerly ask when it’s starting, you know that something special is definitely going on with this school. :)

Our daughter has been attending Bethany Academy for over six years. We love this school. We truly appreciate how much the teachers and Principal and Head of School care about our daughter. She is thriving in this environment. In addition to the curriculum, she is learning what it means become a leader which will serve her well the rest of her life. And the Christ centered focus reinforces the morals and values we, as parents, are teaching her at home. I highly recommend Bethany Academy to all parents looking for an education for their children that is more than just an education.

My son is in Kindergarten at Bethany Academy and we have been 100% happy. He is reading on his own, has memorized lots of scripture, can tell time, and really loves school. I love the small class size as well. His teacher does a wonderful job of communicating and keeping us informed. The music program is also stellar. If you are looking for a great Christian education for your child, you will be happy here!

Bethany Academy is a wonderful K-12 school! But more than a school, it is a highly engaged, Christ-centered community that loves others and strives for excellence. As our culture and public schools drift, I am grateful for solid Christian educational options. Bethany Academy is a fantastic option!

U.C.A is the best school because I am a student in third grade . U.C.A also helped me conquer my shyness so now I have friends. This is my fourth year because I started in kindergarten.

Bethany Academy is a BLESSING! This a school with teachers and administration who LIVE their faith, not just talk about it. Our children have been challenged to work harder than ever. Bethany staff encourages students to think independently, grow spiritually, and stand up for what they believe, not bow to Best opinion.Weve been impressed by the level of academic expectation by the teachers - they not only expect the students to perform well, they make sure the students understand and help them achieve their goals. This shows in the GPAs and scholarships awarded to the graduating class.Parent involvement is another thing that makes Bethany so great. Parents arent afraid to step up and help with any/all activities. This shows that Bethany families believe that strong families make strong kids.The greatest thing I can say about Bethany Academy is that Jesus Christ is the center of this school! I just had my last child graduate from Bethany Academy. We have had children ( 4 of them) at Bethany Academy for 22 years. Over all those years we have been extremely pleased with every aspect of the school. The teachers personally know and care about my child as did the head administrator and the principle. Bethany Academy invests in the student body through program development, scholarships, teacher and staff training and facility improvement. We have build a permanent structure, have been accredited, added AP classes, increased our scholarship funds in addition to countless improvements over the past 22 years.The thing that has never changed about Bethany Academy is their dedication to the Christian development of my child. It has been worth every penny we have invested because their souls were fed and they grew in their faith....all things that are eternal.My children have had countless leadership opportunities and have made life-long friends. Bethany Academy is a place to feel at home, receive an excellent education and grow physically, spiritually, socially and intellectually from kindergarten through 12th grade.If youre looking for a fit for your child, visit the school and arrange a shadow day to see if you feel at home.

Personally I do not suggest that anyone goes to this school. First off the quality of education is horrible. I attended this school for many years and when I went to college I was not ready at all because of their poor quality of education. Also, there is a very high turnover rate with teachers because they will often higher teachers that are not qualified to teach and that dont know what they are doing. The student body is quite cliquey as well. I do not believe the price people pay to go to this school reflects the quality of education they get.

Bethany Academy has been a place of learning for our two sons and a wonderful community for our family to be a part of for 14 years. The Bethany environment has been rich soil for our boys to grow academically, spiritually, physically and relationally. Enrolling our sons at Bethany has been one of the best decisions we made as a family.We are not alone in this opinion. During the 2012/2013 school year an independent parent survey was taken to get a snap shot of satisfaction among the Bethany families. One hundred and eleven parents completed the survey. The results were very positive. Following are just a few of the areas parents repeatedly cited as strengths for the school. School leadership, academic programs, quality instruction, Christian worldview integration, development of character and values in students, safety and security of students, commitment to excellence, communication to parents and students and academic rigor.Bethany education is rooted in the Christian truths found in Scripture. The students education is wrapped in faithful prayers of staff, teachers and parents. The student body displays a beautiful expression of faith as they lead and participate in chapel each week.The teachers are very dedicated. He too has a solid foundation and confidence to move into college life.In addition to academic rigor, Bethany has been a great environment for both sons to participate in a wide variety of sports, extracurricular activities and leadership opportunities.Our family has made lasting friendships and deep bonds with fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. We have deeply appreciated the many opportunities to be involved at Bethany. I am currently a student at Bethany Academy, and there is no high school Id rather be at. The environment is outstanding, as well as the teachers and the other students as well. What a great school!!

Im not seeing the united part or the christ centered part, something needs to change

We have 3 boys currently attending Bethany in 2nd-10th grade. This is our 5th year having kids at Bethany. The past 4 years at Bethany were good, but this year we have been especially thankful for this school. There is a sense of community at Bethany that you just wont find anywhere else. I know that when I drop my boys off at school in the morning they will be taught by Christian teachers who are not only providing them an excellent education, but also mentoring them to become all God designed them to be. There is new leadership at the school this year and that has been a very positive change. The high school is small for our 10th grader, but the positive side of this is that he has opportunities to develop leadership skills in both music and athletics that he would not have at a larger school. We are so thankful for Bethany!

WHY IS THERE SO MUCH HOMEWORK IN THIS SCHOOL.

Here are some of the reasons our three kids go here and continue to (a bit of a dads view).Its an authentic, Bible believing environment with a step up in academic rigor. Although people come from all over the Twin Cities, Its also a convenient location for us.Bethany isnt perfect. Only One ever was. But the kids, teachers and especially the parents all seem grateful and approachable. The younger kids have an awesome example of good character with the older kids being in the same school. Honestly theres a bit of a revival going on in the high school (serving, evangelizing, praying, studying all on their own accord) and it spreads to the elementary. I want my kids to soak that in.Teachers have Genuine faith, not playing Christian. They are gifted for the grades they teach and don’t operate with a sense of entitlement like you find at so many schools. They have big hearts but high expectations. It’s an academy, they don’t gloss over errors and they expect follow through. But it’s not over the top either, the kids can still have a life.I like schools discipline in establishing the curriculum. They dont seem to jump on every new fad (liking bribing students with an ipad), they set student expectations well (Rubric), and attempt to focus on critical thinking skills and good communication (a.k.a how to function and contribute in society, not just be smart).Bethany shares some common spaces with a church that is Biblically sound and growing, which always helps.The music teachers are extremely gifted and make learning music fun for everyone. My litmus test is that the kids both adore and respect their teachers.Elementary worship in the weekly chapel is led by the 5th and 6th graders. I love that these kids are learning how to lead, speak, and be bold so early in life, and the few times I have observed, I leave so grateful my kids can learn well, make good friends, AND mature their faith at Bethany.
