The most UNORGANIZED & UNPROFESSIONAL school district I have ever delt with. This is my daughters first year attending this school. I get a missed call from my her teacher 15 min before school lets out, no voicemail and no text. Call the number back immediately and speak with front office they dont know who called and didnt even bother to ask for my childs name they just transferred to the nurse, again failed to ask my daughters name & just said no one was there so they transferred me back to front office. Front office says she has NO WAY to get in touch with the teacher to see if there is a problem. She says that everything is fine and not to worry...the call was a mistake.Get a call from my Dad that the school is trying to get in touch with me. CALL BACK and speak to front office again and miraculously she can now transfer me to speak her teacher. Why she would lie and tell me she couldnt transfer me the first time around is beyond me.My daughter is a first time bus rider for her 2nd day of school. I was given a bus number on her first day of school by her teacher. Now here we are, 2nd day of school, and the teacher is calling to ASK ME what bus my child rides after already telling me a number the day prior. Says that I needed to verify with the bus barn what bus my child will be getting on. NO ONE mentioned this to me. Not at registration, not when i filled out more paperwork on her first day of school, no one. School is already let out at this point, and they had to figure out at the very last minute what bus route my child will be on. This is my first time ever allowing my daughter to take the bus home so how was I supposed to know these things being that this is our first year at this school.Its no secret that BISD has a bad reputation. It was my mistake to give them the benefit of the doubt, because they clearly still need to get their s**t together.
