My daughter has received tutoring services from Grade Power Learning for the past 2 years, in writing and math. When she started, she was given a thorough learning assessment. The assessment helped me to understand her learning styles and academic needs. Since then, she has progressed from writing three sentence paragraphs to writing several pages on her writing assignments at school. I also love that the Grade Power staff meets with parents monthly to discuss the students progress. It is important to be consistently informed of my childs needs and successes. Grade Power does a great job of ensuring that this happens.

I cant say enough positive things about the Grade Power program and all of the staff at Grade Power. My daughter was really struggling with reading after completing 1st grade and we didnt know what to do about it. A friend recommended Grade Power and I am SO THANKFUL she did!The program and teachers are amazing and I cant believe how far my daughters reading has improved in such a short time. The customized lessons allow her to progress at her own speed and they dont move on to a new concept until she is ready ( unlike public school!). She now has a great foundation to build on and become a super reader. My daughter brought home incomplete assignments for two years before Grade Power. Now with each 100% assignment that she brings home from 2nd grade I can see her confidence growing daily. Grade Power has changed all of our lives and I dont know where we would be without them!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, you wont regret it!

My daughter has had challenges with math since 3rd grade and over the years weve tried several tutors and different programs. A friend started her son (who was 2 years older than Sage but with very similar issues with attention and math struggles) at GradePower and was seeing huge gains for him. He was even asked by the teacher to tutor his classmates, and his confidence was off the charts.I didnt start my daughter immediately because we were daunted by the cost. When she failed her first semester of algebra Freshman year and had to go through the remediation class, we found the line in the sand and went to GradePower. From the beginning, it was clear this was a professional group and that their intention was to truly help these children. The tutors were kind and directed. They havent just been helping Sage with her math, but with her study and organizational skills - both of which she sorely needed. She doesnt even realize how much good it is doing her, but early on she has owned the schedule - we very rarely have to remind her - and doesnt complain. She had an 85 average last semester and since we began 2nd semester, she has had a 100 average. It is so exciting to see her confidence grow and to see her organize herself in other classes, too. She has a straight A average in all her classes and she has stayed focused even during this pandemic, where weve been completely online since April. We feel so fortunate to have found GradePower and to have made the commitment. It has been one of the best decisions weve made for any of our children. Thank you, Gordon and all the wonderful tutors and admin team.

GradePower Learning has been a blessing to my family. English is not my first language, so GPL has helped her in reading and writing where I couldnt. GPL has improved my daughters reading and math three grade levels, and now she is working on writing. I am grateful to have found GradePower Learning.

My son has been at Grade Power for approximately 7 months. The support here has exceeded all expectations. My son has had many evaluations done at many schools and I was very impressed with the results of the evaluation from Grade Power. Their results were very consistent with all other evaluation reports we have received. The difference is, Grade Power is actually doing something about it, and attacking my sons academic needs. Grade Power has done an amazing job identifying where my son is really struggling and have used all the necessary tools to work with him. I had a 504 meeting with my sons school, and his teacher said he would not be having the success he is having if he was not receiving the tutoring from Grade Power. Grade Power communicates with my sons teachers and wants to make sure everyone is on the same page and working on the same curriculum. Kelli and Gordon really seem to understand my son and his needs and want nothing but the best for him.. I cant say anything but wonderful things about this center.

Last year our first grader was almost a year behind, reading at kindergarten second semester at the end of December 2014(first grade second semester). Now at the beginning of second grade, 8 months later, she has progressed from kindergarten second semester to second grade first semester. She enjoys going. Its never a struggle to get her there. She is engaged and motivated to learn. She looks forward to her time there. GRADE POWER IS A WISE INVESTMENT. With their help she will have a strong foundation and be more likely to succeed academically. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Our daughter attended Grade Power (then Oxford Learning Center) for more than two years (kindergarten-post second grade). We began there because reading was difficult, and testing suggested our daughter was in danger of falling very behind the norm. Our experience there could not have been more positive, and we know she is the strong reader she is today because of the cognitive therapy and tutoring she received there. They were able to pinpoint what was not happening in her brain, and then they set about to help her to learn how to process correctly, all while keeping her engaged and closing the academic gap.Gordon and Kelli are wonderful to work with, as are all the tutors. They try hard to make it a fun learning environment by hosting theme weeks in the summer and by always keeping a positive, enthusiastic attitude. The best testimony of all is our daughters. She NEVER complained once about going to Grade Power and actually looked forward to going - even after a full day of school! She sensed the confidence she was gaining and that made her feel so good about herself!

This center is the bomb! Our son was struggling in reading and writing and was 2 grades below grade level when we enrolled him at this center. Gordon, Rachel and all the staff at this center worked very hard with our son and in a little over one year, our son caught up at his grade level reading and writing. The staff are super sweet, well trained and kinda know what they are doing. We recommend this center to anyone looking for help with their kids/students that are struggling in school. Our family will be moving out of Austin by the end of this month and are already nervous about what to expect in our new location. We are hoping to find an excellent center such as this one in our new town for our son!

We have been using grade power learning for years and I cant say enough about the owner, Gordon Faulk, and his right hand, Kelli Beck and how they really invest in each child. All three of our children attend grade power and their skills have improved by leaps and bounds. They work closely with the teachers at our childrens schools as well to make sure we have a cohesive strategy in place for success!
