Its just not the place to teach kids to love dance. Its a paint by numbers studio. They tell the kids what to do (sometimes yell at them) and then repeat the same steps over and over, week after week. When my child struggled remembering some of the steps, they wouldnt help her. They told her to practice but she didnt remember the steps at home either. She was very frustrated. It was very hard to communicate with the teachers and they didnt want to help. Theres also a mean girls culture where kids form groups and pick on some of the other kids. Apparently, this isnt discouraged because it went on the entire year. If your kid is super in to dance, this may be the right fit. Otherwise, stay away if you dont want your kid to hate dance forever.

I love this place. ive been going for a month now. taking bollywood & burlesque pop. its not a huge studio, but its fairly clean & theres plenty of parking.

I love Lynn and Jens. The adult classes are awesome.
