2020/2021 was my sons first year ever attending daycare. Like many parents my anxiety was through the roof… After week one I was able to relax and know without a doubt that my son was well taken care of as if I were there with him the entire day… Miss Stephanie was amazing when I had questions she was there to answer them… I remember week one crying because I felt as if my son was behind and her assuring me this is all new to him and by the end of the year he will be exactly where he needed to be… She made true on her promise and it amazes me how much my son has learned, from something as simple as sharing to knowing how to write his name, to knowing animals that start with certain letters of the alphabet I owe this all to Miss Stephanie and her amazing teaching skills….Fast forward my son just started kindergarten and thanks to all of the help he received at kiddie academy he has been placed in an accelerated class where he will also be learning Spanish…Thank you so much!Kenyatta ParamoreSent from my iPhone

I love the cleanliness of the building as well as the classrooms. The communication and professionalism of teachers and administrators, their eagerness to help assist you whenever you have a concern. The smiles on everyones faces upon drop off and pick up, EVERYONE greets you and thats not common. You know who the direct and the assist director are, they dont hide behind their desk they are very much engaged. I dont worry while Im at work because I know that she is in good hands. I am very happy that I chose Kiddie Academy of Apopka as my daughters school.

This school is sooooooo Amazing hands down. I love how clean it is, how much the teachers (especially Ms Bianca and Ms Amanda) love and nurture these children. They teach them soo much. My daughter learns something new every single day. I love how they keep parents updated on everything their child eats and learn that day as well as sends pictures of them learning. If you are looking for a school that will actually teach your child in a safe clean environment and not have to worry about your little love muffins then Kiddie Academy is the place. Absolutely Love Them!!! All the teachers are amazing.

My infant daughter started recently. She is expertly cared for by a team of loving professionals. The director and assistant director provide a warm welcoming environment. The curriculum is engaging even for the infants. You will definitely be pleased with their services.

We love Kiddie Academy, my son is excited to go to school every day and that makes me feel so happy and at ease while Im working. They have a lot of different activities and they are organized which I really appreciate as a bit of a control freak mom. Weve been to 2 other daycares before and Kiddie Academy is by far the best!

Kiddie Academy of Apopka is a phenomenal daycare with excellent teachers who truly care about the wellbeing of the children that attend their facility. I honestly couldn’t see my child attending any other school. My daughter looks forward to going to school each morning and is so happy when I pick her up at the end of the day. Very good daycare, it’s more than just a daycare for our little girl and our little man. My son whose 3 is had too much energy, they teach him how to channel that and keep him busy and gets to learn at the same time. My little girl can be a bully sometimes but they inform us how to help her out more, to keep it short and simple. Great place!

I recently was going to have my Autistic son attend Kiddie Academy. However I had another opportunity present itself and I took it. The reason why I decided to take that was because I was a bit hesitant about this establishment. Very uncomfortable. It seemed to me like there was a bit of disconnection with staff and organization within the functions of the daycare. Being that my son is a high functioning autistic student I was up front with the director and her demeanor made me feel a bit uneasy. I dont understand how you can be judgemental or hesitant the moment you are informed that a student has a disability. I understand that the facility has to be able to fit the students needs but if I am informing you of what is going on with the student you should not show the demeanor that was exhibited. Definitely gave me an uneasy feeling and after submitting all the paperwork to the daycare, I changed my mind and removed him from the daycare. As an establishment they should have people that can be more receptive to sensitive situations as such and not so judgemental. Because necessarily you dont have to be vocal about how you feel, your demeanor tells someone how you feel. Thought I would share my experience because this is not the first daycare that makes me feel this way because my son is Autistic.

My son attended Kiddie Academy for VPK. They provide a clean, healthy and safe learning environment for the kids. I also had the advantage to check on him using their in class video camera via an app on my phone. Ms. Eneyda was a wonderful teacher leaving big shoes to fill for Kindergarten. Highly recommend Kiddie Academy!

Everyone there is friendly! I see the teachers and staff do their best to make every kid feel comfortable and my son comes home with new things he’s learned everyday from Spanish to English etc. very clean as well

My kids went for summer camp and the people their worked so hard to keep my kids happy and learning ! It was truly the best experience I have had for a summer camp ! I’m so glad that we finally have this kind of quality place here in apopka. Thank you kiddie academy !

Great school, with excellent professionals, attentive teachers, great teaching method, everything beautiful and new with great cleaning .. very safety for the children...I certainly advise all parents who wish the best for their children ..This is best school!!!!

I was very excited about this school but unfortunately it just wasnt a good fit for my family. My daughter was bit twice in the infant room. The first time when she was 4 months and again at 5 months. Once in her face while she was on the floor on a boppie (which left a bruise and and open cut) and the other on her foot, both broke skin. After the first bite, I received the bite report 2 times and the section that was supposed to have the plan of action to prevent this from happening going forward was blank each time. After I refuse to sign the second time it was finally filled out and given to me the next day. The second time my daughter was bitten, I wasnt called, emailed, or notified about the bite until i arrived to the school. I have yet to recieve a bite report for the second incident to this day. No one ever brought me a document to sign or put a plan of action in place (on paper) to prevent it from happening again. Shortly after the second bite, My husband and I were told by the assistant director that she cant promise that it wont happen again. She also mentioned that my daughter was receiving special treatment because I asked that my daughter not be placed on the the floor unattended since she cant protect herself or push another child away should she get bitten again. Needless to say, I was very disappointed in how my experience turned out with the kiddie academy of Apopka. For my first experience, this was very nerve wracking and uncomfortable. I hope they take better action going forward to improve their infant room.

As the saying goes: Dont judge a book by its cover!When I learned that a Kiddie Academy was opening in Apopka I became very excited. Having heard of their reputation in Clermont and being that this was a brand new facility, we booked a tour. The facility is beautiful, well organized, and well lit. The director and assistant director were very kind and warm. Ontop of that they had the Watch me Grow program that allowed us, as concerned parents, to monitor our child via live streams. The curriculum was also in line with what we wanted for our 2 year old son. However, we were soon to be disappointed.We tolerated the rough start and disorganization because everything there was new. New teachers, new facility, new technology, and new kids. Every week we had hoped it would get better but gradually it became worse. The teachers could not control a room of only 5 kids. One child specifically was overly aggressive and constantly hit other kids. After multiple escalations to the teachers and management nothing was done to resolve the unsafe environment my child was exposed to. We were even shut out of the Watch me Grow program because of voicing our concerns when the child went unchecked hitting another for over three minutes during nap time. From what I understand, DCF had to go to the school because of the incident a week later. It turns out that the school had never recorded the incident and reported it to the involved kids parents.I hope this serves as a warning for other parents that decide to use this daycare. Please be sure to monitor your child actively and trust but verify anything they say.

Where do i begin about this daycare. Its a beautiful facility however i felt discriminated against after a recent tour. I toured the facility earlier this year in my work clothing( business attire) after work because i was planning to buy a house in the Apopka area. I met with the manager and was provided a set amount to pay. I finally moved to Apopka and decided to go to the daycare to sign the paperwork on my off day( in jeans and sneakers). After completing the paperwork i was told i would need to pay an additional cost( the security deposit). The security deposit was equivalent to one week of tuition.I inform the person helping me that i was not informed about a security deposit during my first tour. She stated oh im sorry i can wave the fee. I was surprised that she waved the fee so easily without even speaking with management. So i thought it was a good gesture. She later invited me to the open house. I came to the open house and introduced myself to the teacher and informed her that my daughter will be starting soon at Kiddie Academy. I also told her we were invited to another open house at another facility near by my husband wanted to check out as well. Her statement was oh that daycare is nice because my son went there in the past but unfortunately they do not take the 4C program( government assistance program). She assumed that i would need a daycare that accepted the 4C program because of my appearance/ race.I was so upset and left the event with a smile. I did not even waste my breath to tell her i didnt qualify for government assistance. People will stereotype you regardless. I later attended the other daycare open house event and spoke with 2 other parents who toured Kiddie academy previously. Both parents informed me that the staff did not discuss a security deposit.At the end of the day im glad i did not go with this facility because obviously every customer walking through their doors are not treated the same. I would not trust ppl with this type of attitude with my most prized possession...my child. So..yes..i reached out to corporate and i will be contacting the owner. No one should evey have to walk away feeling the way i felt
