We absolutely love La Petite. Our son has been there since he was a baby and is now enrolled in their all day preschool. Cherie, Kim, and Sandy are amazing. The teachers are wonderful. They truly care of each child. They have done an amazing job of cleaning and keeping our son safe during COVID. I highly recommend La Petite to anyone!

I dont know where to start. Cherie and her staff at La Petite Academy are so amazing. When my daycare closed down due to Covid, they took in my son right away. Since being at La Petite, my son has learned so many new things like being independent with dressing himself after playtime with water and putting on shoes and even helping us cross the potty training milestone that we were struggling with prior to his time there! I feel so blessed that the kind staff and wonderful director at this kid kingdom made room for us in our time of need. I cant thank them enough!

La Petite of Ankeny has proven to be an excellent childcare facility with patient and helpful staff, a wide range of learning opportunities, and great flexibility. They have a clean, safe facility equipped with video-monitoring, check-in logging, and mobile-messaging capabilities. For the kids, theyve got a slew of modern toys, creative activities, learning modules and playground equipment that keep my son fully entertained and learning. In addition to that, they frequently take students out on field trips and other events, giving the kids a great chance to learn about teamwork, safety and friendship.Theyve put forth tremendous effort while working with my high-energy son, providing dietary advice, special-care and endless patience. Ive had the opportunity to use several different care facilities in Ankeny and surrounding areas and La Petite has proven to be an outstanding facility with caring teachers and an engaged staff.

I would recommend la petite to all parents. This place is great my son loves it he loves his teachers and he always talks about them . My son refused to talk or play with other kids since i started bringing him to La Petite he started talking playing with kids he even started to draw and do all kind of craft activities. This place is great Ms. Tammy and Ms. Denna are great Mane loves them he always talks about them they are amazing i always feel safe leaving my child there and they always keep me posted an updated what is going on in class and school . I am thankful that i found great school like La Petite Academy .

Wonderful experience for our daughter in her 2+ years here. We really appreciate all the help from the director Cherie and teachers Melissa and Kathy! Our daughter may have plateaued at home around 2 years old, but was able to grow, develop, learn new skills and make new friends here.

I cant say enough wonderful things about La Petite Ankeny. They are extremely helpful with my VERY energetic child. They are great working with us and him to help him try plenty of new strategies to direct his energy and help him focus. We have attended other daycares and the staff did not want to or could not keep up with him. Not only is La Petite of Ankeny willing, but they never give up. To a single working parent who wants the best for her son, this means the world. I cant thank them enough for their care and dedication. To them my son is as important as their own children. Thats the kind of care I want for my son when I cant be with him. I want him to feel as much love from his teachers as possible. And he does.

My child has been going to La Petite for three years now. She loves it, and we have had a great experience. I would recommend this facility to anyone.

La Petite Academy is a very warm and friendly place.. my son has been going there for 2 years now and he loves it. All the teachers are very friendly and helpful.. both the directors are very avtive within the classrooms. its so nice to have my son excited to go to daycare everyday to see his friends and teachers.

We really loved taking our children to La Petite in Ankeny. The boys loved their teachers, the other kids and the daily activities. The teachers were so amazing, really worked with each child individually to get to know how to motivate them and guide them. We were sad to leave when we moved away.

Both of my girls have been going to La Petite for about a year now. Im so thankful for the staff because with everything Ive been going through they have made me feel very safe leaving them there. My oldest has developed so much over the year that I am just amazed. Holly, Madi, and Rachel have all been soooo amazing with my youngest. I love that they are both so eager to go to daycare. Id recommend them to anybody looking for daycare.

Our kids love going to La Petite. I have a son who is in the Pre-K class and just loves the teachers in there. When you walk in you get that warm welcoming feeling. I would recommend this daycare to anyone who is looking for a daycare!!!

Sherry at La Petite has been fantastic. My kids learn a lot and always have a great time at the day care. I highly recommend the Academy for anyone with kids!

My daughter was only watched by family until she was 1 1/2 years old so when she needed to go to Preschool I was very scared and had a lot of trouble letting her go somewhere where I didnt know anyone and she didnt know anyone either. She also had a lot of trouble with separation anxiety and they were amazing helping her get involved, making friends and making her feel very comfortable which made me feel really good not having to worry about her when I am at work because I know she is in really good hands and having fun. When she first started going to the Preschool she was developmentally behind but with the help of La Petite and AEA she has came a long way and she is now where she is supposed to be and is getting ready for 3 year old Preschool. She wakes up every morning telling me she wants to go play with her friends and see her teachers. The staff is absolutely amazing with her and all of the other children and it is a very friendly environment that feels close to home. I couldnt be happier with La Petite Academy and I would highly recommend La Petite Academy to any parent who is looking for a Preschool for their child!

Our family absolutely loves La Petite Academy in Ankeny, IA! We researched many daycare centers in the area before making sure we had found the right fit for our newborn son. As parents we were committed to making sure our children had the best available care and an endless opportunity to learn in a place where they would feel safe, secure and loved. We knew the minute Ms. Cherie greeted us at the door by name and welcomed us into our new “home away from home” that this could be the one! The other centers didn’t even compare to the quality of La Petite – and that is when we realized that an Academy was the right decision and offered a far superior learning experience that any regular old daycare center could provide. From the cleanliness of the facilities, to the courteous and professional staff, to the wide variety of learning and educational resources, we knew we had made the right choice. The passionate teaching staff is dedicated to providing an engaging and fun learning experience for all children. The curriculum delivers a well-rounded educational approach that we feel has developed their knowledge and skill sets far beyond others their age. As parents, we look forward to reading their individualized daily progress report, hanging the freshly painted artwork on the refrigerator, and singing along with the new nursery rhyme they learned that day! Our boys are excited to go to “school” everyday and often want to stay and play with their friends when we pick them up at night! I could go on and on about the available sporting and music activities offered, or the field trips and special events, and the technology resources available to parents…..but you will have to schedule a visit and see for your! And don’t forget to meet the amazing Ms. Sara – we will always be appreciative of the extra special care and love she provided to our family. I absolutely love my experience with La Petite Academy. My son is 3 and 1/2 and has learned so much since starting there, and talks non stop about how much fun he has everyday he comes home from school. The staff is very sensitive to his needs, he is very sensitive and cries when I leave and gets his feelings hurt easily and they take great care in dealing with that, which is so important to me as a parent. They are very adaptable, understanding, and willing to work with you on any situations that may arise. Their most important focus is the children and their well being and feeling that Im leaving my child in the hands of people who care for him and his learning as a parent is priceless. I never have to worry when I drop him off I feel 100% confident in their abilities to provide love and education. Cristi A

We are extremely pleased with the quality of education and socialization our children have received at La Petite in Ankeny. After changing from two previous childcare facilities in a two-year time span, we found that La Petites structure and attentive involvement from both their administration and teacher educators was just the right fit for our childrens needs (especially our son whose socialization challenges have been enhanced in just eighteen months that he is now ready for the changes that Kindergarten brings). A childs education and socialization takes time, energy, and commitment and we found those in abundance at La Petite. We cant overstate our satisfaction with Cherie and Sandy in particular (with all due respect to the other teacher educators), and would not hesitate to publicly endorse them and encourage parents that have not yet found just the right fit in a childcare facility to give La Petite a fair evaluation.
